Hello Everyone!

My name is Shilah and I am 22 years old. I had cervical cancer last year and had to have a few surgeries to get rid of it. Because of that the Dr.s told us that If i were to get pregnant that the chances of my cervix holding the baby to term were slim.

Well I just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on August 1st. My boyfriend and I are LOVING every moment of being parents yes, even the sleepless ones!

Hey there, thanks for the message. Do not worry! I am sure everything is fine with you. The doctor told me the baby had cystic hygroma - an excess of fluid. Nothing I did but it couldn't sustain itself. :( I probably miscarried earlier than 20 weeks but found out at my 20th week appointment. I can not believe how common M/C are but do not worry, you are young and it's going to be great! I am older also and a little chubby so maybe it was a combination of a few things. Good luck and thanks for writing. It's going to be great!!

Congrats! The 13th seems so far away! I'm not sure about what sex I'm hoping for. I kinda want a girl but I think about how I was and I think twice! I kinda want a boy because I already have two boys and at least then I would know what to expect :) Let me know what you have and I'll do the same!!

Thanx hun for your comment! Im just so depressed al over silly scan i done on myself at work! because i told some and word got around my job and a doctor there knows so he might confront me so trying my best to avoid him! i hope his not a bad minded git to report me to my boss al over just been curious about my baby! as ill cry or scream at him hormones! But just shows where you work there always some little rat to tell on you to get you in for trouble! I wonder who um!! not going use it again anyway, just make sure if i get that useless tech from maternity doing my scan to explain it better next time. thanx again.

I actually had a friend scan me today, and I am having a boy. :)It's nice to have that connection!!! It looks like he is about a week bigger than what we thought. My due date may be July 23 instead of the 28th. I'm sure my doc. won't change it though. This will be boy #2 for us. We like the names Landry and Luke. Our 2 year old is named Landon, want to stay with the 'L' names.

For a girl, i have Ava Rae, And for a boy (were still undecided) but i think we like Aydin Ryan ..Ava is also a little undecides because Ive always wanted my baby to have a unique name and ive heard lately its getting popular! So im not sure yet!

Hey Shilah... if this is your first pregnacy it will take awhile before you will start to show. I bet you'll pop out in the next month in a half or so. Your stomach muscles are still so tight it is harder to tell. That was about when I started to show with my first. Good Luck!! :)

How r u? Thanks for commenting on my page! I love this site, its awesome..
We will have to become like pregnant 'sisters' or something..LOL.
I was suppose to wait to get prego cause my pap came back abnormal cancer cells.. I was suppose to have some of my cervix scraped off and tehn get prego.. LOL. God had a diff route for us.
