Hello Everyone!

My name is Shilah and I am 22 years old. I had cervical cancer last year and had to have a few surgeries to get rid of it. Because of that the Dr.s told us that If i were to get pregnant that the chances of my cervix holding the baby to term were slim.

Well I just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on August 1st. My boyfriend and I are LOVING every moment of being parents yes, even the sleepless ones!

Dang girl you are on it...36 weeks, she will be here before we know it. I will have to find your friend...I am glad her baby is doing well. I am sure it is hard that the baby is still in the hospital though. You keep her in and COOK her to term....I know I am ansy too though. I am good, can't complain, it is hot, and I am getting bigger. Bending over is hard, nothing to crazy. MUAH!! Keep in touch and take care love!

Hi Shilah. Thanks for the post. I was also confused a lot about cord blood banking. Even though many doctors say that there may not be any use of this technology in near future i think its ok to save if the facility is available. And lets hope and pray that our lil babies never need to use it. I have decided to go with private cord blood banking.

Hi, Often BH can have a period like feeling but I can usually also feel my belly go tight at the same time. It may be that your baby has dropped further and is pressing a bit more on the cervix or another part of your anatomy.
