Hi, I am a mother of four and we are expecting a unexpected surprise in November. This is going to be interesting as this was not planned. I am usually high risk (now because of my age 37, which is weird because alot of women do not have babies till after 35 nowadays.) I delivered my first baby at 30 weeks in 1994. He was early and had to stay in the NICU for 40 days. There was no reason why he was early but since he was early my following pregnancies have all been monitored very closely. The last three pregnancies were all actually induced at 38 weeks due to my gestational diabetes and sometimes high blood pressure. But all were great deliveries without epidurals. With just a tiny dose of pitosin (sp) my babies just fly right out in 3 hours. I breast fed all my children as long as then wanted (never went past a year) and they are all happy and healthy and full of crazy. I consider myself extremely lucky to have a happy healthy family and I am excited (and surprisingly nervous) with this new pregnancy. My pregnancies are usually uneventful except for the gestational diabetes and blood pressure at the end)
