SORRY IF THIS IS TMI, BUT IT WILL EXPLAIN MY DR APPT YESTERDAY! Ok, so I gave birth on a thursday, and the tuesday after, I went to the dr because I was running a fever and I had some weird stuff "hanging out" of my privates.... it turned out to be membranes left after birth. The nurses were instructed to double check me before I went home, but no one did. SO....my dr gently removed it and gave me antibiotics to prevent infection. WELL, the bleeding I was having was STILL from that. There was a "yarn string" sized amount still there... Again, we removed it, and now I'm fine. Also, I started Seasonique birth control at my 6 week check up and that's another reason for the bleeding.

My baby is going to be well over 8 lbs and my dr acts like it's nothing. I realize that some women push big babies out with no problem. I wish I could hear the word induction just once, I am so scared I will end up with either a c-section or an episiotomy from hiatus. Either way, it will scar me for life. She is head down but she stays so active she could easily move up. And I am also not getting another ultrasound to measure her. My dr seemed so nice until now . . . .

hey thankz thats wat i feel i mean he will never know what a delivery feels like and my son was all normal but it only lasted 3 hours with contractions and all. it was soo painful!!!!! yeah and sex ill pass on that im too big and tired ...hey hun good luck on your delivery

thnx 4 da help i guess there really isnt a right way 2 address the situation and i know it will only get better as she gets older and the whole sex issues start i just worry now dat ill have a boy shell start different things but yeah i explain 2 her the difference but to a stubborn 3 year old it goes out one ear

The only time i have been checked down there was at my 12 week scan and nothing since. I have been experiancing really bad pains in my belly and upper legs and she just said thats normal at this stage. It prob is but i just sometime get the feeling they will tell you owt to get rid of you, maybe its just my hormones cos they are WILD at the moment hehe my boyf loves it xx

Glad everything is ok with the baby. I see my doctor twice a week right now becasue of high b/p and I was not checked last week or monday. Since baby is engaged as well and i have had lots of pressure iam asking her to check me tomorrow.. You can ask them next time im sure if you ask they wont say not. but when they do check more it could start things!

Sorry if you felt offended!!! I just felt offended that someone in that profession going in to such a sensative area would have such nails. I mean at least the fake ones due less damage.
Since your a nurse though can I ask you how could I handle it so that I am not uncomfortable about this.

Hehe, yep, pretty much, mine is always "your a big fat momma" lol, since I am not normally "heavy" I am just like well ok, I will allow it this circumstance and only to me. Even my son who is 10 is kind enough to say "well you don't look as big as some other pregnant people" lol

Yeah we are stationed in Newport News va. Its been great because my mother is only 30 minutes away. Yet, hubby just got his orders to move to Kansas City Missouri in November. At least I have a little time. Im so sorry your having to deal with this so close to having your little one!
