This is my second child. My first, a girl, is 5 1/2 years old. She started kindergarten this year. I am married to a military man. He is in the Coast Guard. I have moved away from my family for the first time ever. It has been really hard but I'm trying.

Friday, 22 Feb Yes, I too am glad I found the comments about the nipple shields. They are actually detrimental to success with breastfeeding! I hope those girls don't think I am trying to be rude, I just want them to be well informed. :) ukdutypaid -

Thursday, 21 Feb YES!!!!!!!!!
OMG! I feel the same way about it...the song and the dog's faces just breaks my heart in pieces. Specially now that we are so short of money with the baby coming and not been able to help it just kills me. :(
Then again I am 'glad' I am not the only 'weird' one crying all over the place..:)
Thanks for sharing and congrats on your little one !! loveatfirstbump -
Thursday, 21 Feb I, myself, don’t think they are gross but most people I know do. If I mention the word mouse nobody will want to come over for dinner anymore lol. I don’t mind rodents; it’s bugs that rattle my nerves. There’s only one mouse that I know of and so far he’s not causing any problems. It was really nice of you and your father to do that. If someone can kill a mouse without blinking an eye it makes me wonder about them lol. The friendly traps sound great…thanks! operamommy -
Thursday, 21 Feb HAHA, likewise, my boy has no chance of getting any athletic tendencies from my husband and me! Unless it's yoga, swimming or tennis! operamommy -

Friday, 15 Feb Thanks mama! :) mommi2b -
Friday, 15 Feb That's what I think too - cuz I would do light pink or maybe even a pinkish/purple.
We'll see - hopefully I'll be able to make a decision when I see the setups in person this weekend instead of online! mommi2b -
Friday, 15 Feb I love dark cherry too. Our dining room furniture is dark cherry and I LOVE it - especially when the sun hits it, it's so pretty. But my hubby thinks it might be too dark and wants something nice and light w/ a baby feel, ya know? I know he'll go w/ whatever I choose but I'm just so bad w/ decisions like this! lol
Thanks for your help! AprilChristine -
Friday, 15 Feb Thanks. :) redrobin -
Thursday, 14 Feb It's ok to vent...if you can't vent here than where can you? I know exactly what you mean though. Yesterday after work I actually drove to the maternity store to buy different pants because I felt like the ones I was wearing were too tight and digging in so much that I couldn't breath. I can't believe that I feel this way already (I still have 4 months to go!). I feel like I will never fit back into the jeans that I used to wear before I got pregnant and I used to be at the gym 5 days a week...now I am only doing prenatal yoga! I just keep reminding myself what a wonderful reward waits at the end of this and that this is one chance in my life where I actually have a great reason to not work out like a fanatic. If you are anything like me, you probably can't wait to get back to being 'you', which I know for me means that I will work hard afterwards to get back to where I was, I just need to be patient. Hope you have a great Valentines' day anyway! Just remember that some days are better than others. mommi2b -
Thursday, 14 Feb I totally feel where your coming from. I feel the same way sometimes...so fat and pale and disgusting. I miss my old body. I hate looking at myself in the mirror now. I'm disgusting. I know it's for the best reason in the whole world, and I want to give nothing but the best food and nutrients to my little angel...but it's still hard. This is my 1st pregnancy and I'm not used to seeing my body like this. My hubby keeps telling me I'm not fat, I'm pregnant and I look great - but I know I'm getting FAT. Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it...I just can't wait for my little one to come so I can hug her and kiss her and all these body changes will totally be worth it!...it's just hard along the way. kailz -
