HELLO EVERYONE!

12-17-07 Today i am 9 weeks pregnant. Im having some morning sickness that really bothers me. Im having another dilema. Whenever i feel like eating something, when i have it in front of me, i no longer want to eat it!! Weird huh!!? Ive heard that it happens to most pregnant women. I hope it goes away soon! I have my next doc appt on Jan. 8 and i hope everything is ok. I say that i hope everything is ok b/c I lost my baby in June 2007 and i was 32 weeks, so imagine how im feeling now!! Worried, worried, worried but i have faith that everything will be ok this time and that ill give birth to a beautiful baby.

To all you pregnant women, i hope u have a great pregnancy. I wish u all the best of luck!!

Hellooo again. Today is 12.31.07 and today im 11 weeks. I feel much better now!! I dont have the morning sickness anymore! :-) The one thing i really dislike is getting very very hungry. I get hungry a lot and it bothers me cause i dont wanna get too fat cause i know its gonna be very hard to lose the pounds after i give birth...Im very excited about my next doc appt, cant wait to see my baby on the U/S monitor!

Update- January 30, 2008

~~I went to my doc appt yesterday the 29th and i asked the doc to check the sex of the baby. I found out that its a GIRL!! He showed me how there was nothing in between the 2 thighs. It was nice to finally know what im having even though i want to wait until the 15th for the big ultrasound. Hopefully everything will be ok and i will soon have a beautiful healthy baby. ~~

THE NAME WILL BE: DANIELA (We chose that name b/c the baby i lost was going to be named Daniel. It matches and we both like it!! What do u guys think???

2-8-08~ I'm 16 weeks and i feel like the weeks are taking forever. I have the big U/S on the 15th of this month and i can't wait to make sure my baby is ok and for them to reassure me that it's a girl! Everyone says that my belly is huge but i don't see it as big! :-( Maybe its cause i want it to grow so fast and it just doesn't. I think i've felt the baby move in there, sometimes. Especially when i lay down in bed. I love feeling my baby move. It's amazing and i can't wait for her to be bigger and to see my belly move when she moves. :-) I still get really sleepy and tired.

2-15-08~Today i had my big ultrasound and the lady told me that she thought that it was a girl but didnt want to reassure me anything, just in case but i think its a girl for sure!! :-) I got to see her move around a lot to the point where the lady couldnt get the measurements sometimes because she was moving soo much. I cant wait to see my belly move on the outside. She was sooo active and beautiful. Hehehe! They gave me 4 pics which i love. I saw her spinal cord, ribs, big hands and legs. I bet she was hungry when she was moving around because her mommy was starving. ;-)

It was nice to see my baby again in the ultrasound. I wish i could buy one of the ultrasound machines to use at home. :-) I cant wait for my next doc appt on March 4th. Good Luck to all.

2-18-08~At night i was laying down and all of a sudden i felt a ball under my bellybutton and told my husband to put his hand on my belly and he did. He was waiting to feel something. All of a sudden he felt her move and the ball went away. That was the cutest thing! It was soo wonderful to feel her and for her daddy to feel her!

2-26-08~I can't wait until my next appt. March 4th!!! Ive been feeling the baby a lot for the past couple of days and its wonderful. Thank God my cold is s-l-o-w-l-y going away. I still have a cough but getting better!! I notice that when i sleep i get better! Hehe!! That means i need to sleep more.......i wish i could sleep the whole day. :-)

19 weeks & 1/2

3-5-08~I was laying down on my left side and my baby girl was moving around a lot. Two times she moved so hard that WE FINALLY SAW MY BELLY MOVE as she moved inside!!

My husband also saw it and it was sooo cute!! It was soo funny to me that i started laughing really hard and we didnt see it again! I'm soo excited that it happened already, that means that it will have more often now as she grows in there!! :-))

3-21-08~OMG, my baby girl is moving soo much everyday and i love it!! It feels like she is having a party everyday.... :-) Its sooo much fun!!! My husband puts him hand on my belly and he can feel her move. I can't wait until my belly is bigger!! :-) I'm going to get an ultrasound on Friday the 28th and i'm very excited cause i love to see my baby girl! I can't wait to buy the crib bedding set.

4-1-08~Just updating a little. I had an ultrasound done on Friday the 28th and they reassured me once again it is A GIRL!! :-) I saw her heart beating, her ribs, her spinal cord, her kidneys, her full stomach, her bladder. She was even sucking her thumb and stretching!! They showed me how there is enough liquid around the baby (that was nice to hear). They gave me a lot of pics!! Im soo excited to know that my baby girl is healthy and growing strong in there!! :-) Today my husband went and bought me the bedding set that i wanted!!!! Yuppiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! I finally have the bedding set that i want!!

26 weeks

7-3-08- C-SECTION DAY!!! Finally, the day i've been waiting for!! I woke up that day at 7am, took a bath and got dressed to go to the hospital and be there at 8am for the scheduled c-section at 10am. I was really scared!! At 8am, they sent me in to get me prepared for the surgery. They gave me a pill for the heartburn i might feel, they started on an IV and i was scared b/c the day had finally come but i wasnt sure i wanted her out yet!! LOL.

My husband got dressed like a surgeon and was able to be in there with me with a camera to capture the moment when his daughter would come into this world. I started crying when i saw the anestesiologist come in. I was really really really scared of surgery and the way i was going to react and the pain i was going to have after the surgery. At 10am, they took me into the operating room where my husband couldnt go into until everything was ready. I was sooo sad to see him go. He blew me a kiss and i was wheeled into that cold room full of machines. They 1st gave me an epidural and i thought that was going to hurt a lot but it wasnt sooo bad. In a matter of seconds, i couldnt feel anything below my belly. Its incredible. The worst part of the surgery i would say was the COLDNESS of that room. I was soo nervous and on top of that shivering... they put a curtain in front of my face so i wouldnt be able to see the surgery and they called in my husband. I was sooo happy to see him there. In a matter of minutes they had already opened me up like a little porky pig and the baby was about to come out. The doctor told my husband to get the camera ready b/c they baby was about to come out and that in fact she was still sitting. As soon as i heard the cry of my daughter, i started cryin too b/c i couldnt believe my baby was finally out. My husband took pics of when they took her out. When the nurse cleaned the baby, she brought her to me and i was able to see her face for the 1st time and it was the most wonderful 2 seconds of my life. He took pics of her on the scale, he cut her umbilical cord and he followed her all the way to the nursery. The longest part of the surgery was closing me up again. I think that took like 45 minutes or something like that. I wasnt calculating the time but it took really long, i thought!! When they were finally finished i was soo relived and ready to get outta there and into the room to see my baby. They took me into the recovery room until i was able to feel my legs again (until the epidural effect was gone). Finally they sent me to a room and i was able to be there with my family and friends until they brought me the baby. She was healthy and strong and i couldnt be happier.

I wish you luck with your c-section!! But please remember....you may be feeling tired now - but you will be twice as tired once baby comes! Enjoy this while you can! :) Congrats!

hello! I just read your comment about them going to do a csection on the 3rd of july. I'm scheduled to do a csection on the 27th, depending on the results of the amnio on the 26th. This will be my first csection. I already have 3 boys (all vaginally) I'm not worried about the csection because I know its best for me and baby. Just try not to worry about it. OMG! C-section! She might still surprise you and change position so don't give up yet. Anyway the most important thing is that she's healthy. I know how much you wanted to do natural delivery but I know everything will also go perfectly well if you have c-section. Just look forward to your baby girl. I'm so exhausted girl.

I am so tired this morning... I feel so sleepy. I wish i was home sleeping now and not at work but I will go on leave soon. I'm going to speak to my employer today that I take leave from 23rd June instead of 1st July. I can't take it anymore. I just want to stay at home. How are you doing today?

My appointment went great and everything is good too. Also got an ultrasound and saw my baby's face and he was doing his sucking practice as well. Like father like son already

I had urine infection in my early pregnancy but it went away quickly and since then my urine tests have been coming good. 6 weeks to go and that heart burn is gone. Yep! We are 34 weeks and i'm also anxious to see my baby. I can't believe we are actually so close

. I thought i would be more nervous now about delivery and becoming a mother but i'm not. I know we are gonna be great mothers and we have to get the babies out

. I'm very excited for us. My weekend was wonderful. I always have busy weekends and on monday it's when i feel more tired and wish I had rested more during the weekend but there's just so much to be done. How was your weekend?

How did your appointment go? I also went to see my doctor yesterday cuz i was feeling pains but everything is fine now and I also had an ultrasound done amd it was amazing. He's very active. I used to get hearburn maybe once in a week but now i haven't had it for almost 2 weeks. You get it everyday? Sorry girl! JD hasn't dropped completely. He has only dropped a little and he's facing my left side. I hope Daniella changes her position too or i hope you'll tell she has.

My appt is on saturday. I can't wait either. I want to find out how much he weighs, his measurements, if he's really dropping, etc. Luckily my trips to the toilet at night have come down. I go at least once sometimes but I go 10 times before I can actually fally asleep but once. I've also realised that he also sleeps when i'm sleeping. Hope i'll be lucky when he's born and sleeps more at night than during the day.

I'm just keeping myself busy with a list of the rest of the things we need to get for baby this weekend. I have a feeling this baby will come earlier(before 40 weeks) so I just need to make sure I have EVERYTHING. I'm leaking colostrum and I can actually feel the fluid in my boobs when i touch and they've grown so much in a week. That excites Daniel so much. Silly man! We gonna have Daniel and Daniella

Thanks girl! I will definately text you as soon as I deliver. Ooh Gosh! The thought of labor. LOL!!! But i'll be so happy to see my baby. We must exchange e-mail addresses before we go on maternity leave. When Daniel told me that he wanted to name our son after him I didn't even argue. I guess he was thinking of it all along and that's why he didn't like the names I suggested to him.

Girl i'm so tired. It's 9:30am and I feel so exhausted and sleepy and I went to bed at 10:00 pm last night but it feels like i didn't even get enough sleep. I see my doctor next week and I hope he'll ask me to leave work earlier than end of June. I will also get an ultrasound. I hope i'll see my baby dropped. You know we'll be 34 weeks end of next week...I'm dosing off in front of my pc. Talk to you later

Hey mommy! Lucky you had a long weekend. I know weekends are feeling shorter and shorter as they come. I'm not feeling so bad and don't always feel tired but I don't want to do anything either. I've also been getting BH a lot lately but doesn't last long and sometimes i feel that pressure down there. Maybe Daniella has dropped.I'm not sure about JD. Oh! We decided to name him after his father, Daniel Chinedu Jr. We are only going to prepare his nursery after he's born cuz he'll be sleeping in our room for the first few weeks/months. He's gonna have his own little space there. It will even be easier for me to get up and feed him or change him if he's sleeping with us and Daniel can help too. Girl, by end of this week we'll be 33 weeks...then 34,35,36,37,38,..OMG! Nothing will go wrong I know and believe it.

I'm glad my hormones are not taking me to that extent lol but that's cute. I'm feeling a lot of uncomfortable tightening. I think it could be BH. Can you believe we have 8 weeksor less to go? Yay! 5 weeks to go before my maternity leave... I can't wait for that. I just want to stay at home now. I also can't wait for my appt next week. I hope the doctor will tell me only good news but I know he's doing well cuz he's been moving a lot still and i keep growing. I even got few stretchmarks on the sides. I hope that's all i'm gonna get :D. How are you doing beside the tiredness? How was your weekend? Is Daniella nursery ready?
