Hi everybody, my name is Sian and I am expecting my second child with a new partner. Its his first baby and he is really excited!!
Does anyone have any tips or advice for doing any gentle exercise during pregnancy? With my first pregnancy I suffered with SPD and was in hospital for the last 8 weeks of it and then was induced at 38 weeks because of the pain. I dont know what the chances are of it happening again. So I dont want to push myself, but do want to keep healthy for the baby. Thanks everyone.....please feel free to drop me a line! x x x
Just found out that my first scan is on the 25th February, I cant wait!! I wonder if I am having twins as my tummy feels so big already. I am a fraternal twin myself so fingers crossed!!
Oh, and it seems the chances of me getting SPD again are highly likely according to my midwife. Ah well, our lovely baby will be worth it!
I got diagnosed with the Parvo b19 virus when I was 10 weeks, I caught this from my son who must of caught it from nursery. There is now a 14% risk that my baby will be harmed or terminate itself.I am so worried but trying not to think negatively as this will cause the baby more distress.I am being monitored with scans every 4 weeks now and only being seen by consultants. Hopefully all will be fine....
12 weeks
I feel really rubbish this week so far,my sickness has returned full throttle and my headaches have increased.Spoke to my midwife on the phone this morning, and my next scan is on the 25th March and my next consultant app is on the 28th March.I will be 14 weeks by then, so i'm wondering if the sonographer will be able to tell me the sex?? Probably not but I think I will ask just incase. I am hoping everything is normal with this scan and I can rest again for another 4 weeks until the next one.
27th March
I had my scan on the 25th and my baby had died. There was no heartbeat and it was not moving at all...my partner knew something was wrong but the sonographer wouldnt let me see the screen. Then he told us the terrible news.
I have to into hospital on Friday and have some medicine that will induce labour as the baby and placenta are still inside of me.I dont know how on earth I am going to get through this.I've been told I will be given morphine for the pain,so in a way I hope I am so drugged up I have no sense of whats happening and the horrible reality of this situation.
My heart is broken right now.
Good luck to everyone else and I hope you all go on to have happy, healthy babies.
