hello all :)

im Siobhan, i recently got married (24th may 08) and im 31 weeks pregnant with IDENTICAL TWINS GIRLS!!!

life actually couldnt be any better!!! i will be having a c-section in a max of 5weeks, im looking forward to holding my babies so much i could burst!! i wish you all healthy pregnancies, and for those who are trying im sending you buckets full of baby dust!!!! feel free to msg me if you wanna have a natter!

I hear you ! It will be a unique experience for you - and because you're having 2 a lot of people that have had only 1 will not really understand what is going on for you. GOOD LUCK! All I can say is to try to arrange as much support around you as possible. It is all about support. Support support support. And sleep. And staying calm (yeah right!). Anyway - it will be what it will be so there is not much point worrying about it at the moment - just try to anticipate the support you will need and arrange it now. And as to holding your babies etc - very quickly you'll be the only one that can hold them (both) properly. You'll be the expert and one day you'll wonder when it all became so manageable.

hi ya got out of hospital thurs eve waters broke wed having irregular contractions and they want me to start myself otherwise will be induced this weds have a scan mon and consultant tues so it looks like its all happening even though baby is a bit early am a little bit concerned but keep fingers crossed everything will be ok

Last day today hun!! Yippee! I bet you are counting down the hours - did they get you anything nice??
Will let you know the c-sec or natuarl update when i see the consultant next week. Having a real hormonal day today - got the right hump. Got in the car in a white top and its filthy coz sams been in the car in his work clothes. I flipped!!! arrggghhh

i know it's fab, had spotting again today but still no pain again which is good. waiting for my blood test tomorrow for a hormone count im keepin everything crossed.. how r ur bundles of job 2day xx

Hi HUn,
How's you?? I am so jelouse that they will deliver you at 36 weeks by c-section. I still have not had this discussion with my consultant but he did seem set on 38 weeks. LOL I don't mind you talking to your consultant about me at all. My consultant basically said the same thing - except the 2 week bit - diff policies etc - and no signs of TTTS so no worries. I am still sat on the fence about c-section - but my cons said it is safe and better (but i have also found out that my hospital are on a drive tp reduce sections all together and I hope that I am not caught up in the statistics row)
When do you finish work? I'll come visit you if you fancy.
