Baby Hayden 18 wks
My name is Heidi. This is what I used to look like before pregnancy. :-) Now I am 20 weeks pregnant and 19 lbs heavier than I was. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart after 19 years of being on separate paths. I am blessed that fate brought us back together and I am able to give him a son he has never had. I had genetic testing so I know the gender, but still look forward to my 20 wk u/s next week.
(The latest and greatest is that I had my baby on April 3rd. It was quite an experience to say the least. The meds did not work so I ended up having a natural birth. Boy, I commend all those who electively choose natural child birth. Now that I have done it, I appreciate the value of it, but will chose to get the epidural at 5-6 cm if I did it again.
Baby Hayden is now 5 months and a sweetie. I am truly enjoying having a baby in the house again although I still get no sleep and now have high blood pressure. I am still nursing full time and have introduced cereal, fruits, and carrots. In a couple weeks, we will introduce some meat baby food and another vegetable.

We had a wonderful weekend with my brother and his family in the Mountains. Baby Hayden even cooperated enough to allow me to hike in 2007. I hope we can do it again.
Well, it is hard to believe that I am now 22 weeks. I am waiting until January to start counting down. As a mother starting life again, it is quite weird and exciting. I am enjoying seeing my kids learn about pregnancy and the technology that goes with it. I think my son wants to be with me for the delivery, but my daughter will be at a Volleyball tournament. I have to say that pregnancy takes a long time and I am totally restless now. The holidays will help the 2nd trimester finish quickly, but the third trimester will probably take forever. Oh well, it has been quite nice having other women to discuss all these feelings with.

Well, you are right it is fun having a baby in the house again. I don't remember all of the little things that are happening with this baby , like I did the first time around. Zweiback toast is good to try, have you tried Baby Mum Mum Rice Rusks??? Those are the best! They are easy for them to hold and they dissolve so fast. Does your son seem to be wanting to chew and have whats on your plate? Blake did that, and he absolutely refused his purees, so we thickened his fruits with oatmeal cereal, and his veggies with rice cereal. I made it thick enough where it held on a spoon if you turned it upside down. Now he eats his purees no problem. Gerber Puffs and Cheerios are good to try as well. Good luck!

We are doing really good. Can't believe she's 7 months old already! She still hasn't gotten any teeth yet, but soon I hope. She's getting so big. She's like 16 lbs now. Ask his peditrician what to do as far as formula. Nia has been on Gentlease Enfamil since i left the hospital and it is for fussy/gassy babies.. so she doesn't have gas or none of that- she passes alot.. ewww it's embarrassing sometimes in public - people think its me.. LOL! But i feed her 3 times a day stage 2 foods and give her 4oz of milk with it.. she does fine. I also incorp. giving her a little juice that is watered down once a day but she doesn't take too well to it. she loves water but i don't give it to her.. maybe a swig here and there!

OH I feel so bad for you but at the same time can almost relate to the tired part. I mean you got to get some rest hon. Put that little man on formula, might be better at this point with his food and see if he rest better! Shoot i even taught Nia how to hold her bottle so all I do is monitor her with one eye open as i'm holding her. Well I pray it gets better for you!

hi! i've been good! becca is a little smiley face, she is such an easy going baby! you can take her anywhere and you dont eveb know she is with you! unlike my 3 year old haha. katelyn has started 3 year old pre-school, and is doing good, no crying when i leave her, but last time i had to get her a little early because she didn't feel good. she only goes 2 days a week. Becca still wakes up at night too, usually at 3:30, then wants a bottle at like 5:30. but she loves her sleep, she is in bed every night by 8:00 and all i have to do is lay her down and she goes to sleep. my first i would have to rock her and lay with her, i still have to lay with her to get her to sleep. but she has this bad habit of waking up at 3:30, and i just pop her pacifier back in and she goes back to sleep. then in the morning after her bottle she will sleep again until like 8:00. it stinks because she was sleeping through the night at like 2, 3 months old, but as soon as she started teething, that ended. she has one tooth that just pushed through and the other is coming. she is a little chunker too! she weighs like 19 pounds! my 3 year old is a peanut, and always has been, she weighs 27 pounds! i cant' believe that our babies are 6 months, i remember us all talking about our bellies, and waiting to go into labor, and here we are! my brother and sister -in-law just found out they are pregnant, it's their first one, my brother is the baby of the family, and the only boy, my mom had 5 girls and the last was a boy. she is very sick right now, and cant even read or drive herself. i keep encouraging her to get on this site and talk to girls in her week for support, but i dont think she is listening. i loved being on this site during my pregnancy. you can compare symptoms, and see whats normal, and sometimes save yourself from a trip to the dr's. i'm very close to her, she is like my real sister, so i will keep hounding her to get on here. i know she will live it once she gets on and see's what its all about. i hope your baby is doing well, and growing good! i'm having a really hard time losing the weight, everyone keeps telling me, my god you just had her, but i'm depressed about it, i mean, i'm like 20 pounds heavier than when i got pregnant, and have been excersising since i got the ok from my dr, like major working out, like boot camps, kick boxing, weight training. i'm wondering if my hormone levels are off? well, i think this letter is long enough, i just have a too much to say after not being on for so long! hope all is well!

Oh No - he hates tummy time.. .LOL! That is funny! Nia loves tummy time but now that she is crawling and in that walker - she won't be still! Her weight has her in the 25% for her to be 6 months she weighs 14lbs and some change. She is tall though like almost 27in. I chalk her weight being light because she is very active and NOSEY! OMG, nothing moves without her wanting to know what it was! LOL! I have to agree with you at this age - it is harder on us and it takes a lot of out of us as a whole. I be so tired when I come in and then I get to bed everynight around 12-1 and then back up between 5-6! Social life is shot - I don't go anywhere hardly because I be so tired, don't know when was the last time I hooked up with my girls! My mom is here keeping Nia but I try to give her her time when I get home and man it is killing me but when I look in my little girl eyes, I forget about how tired I am and keep it moving!
I plan to let my sister come and get Nia for 2 weeks to help me regroup. It is a blessing to have the support I got. spen - Thursday, 2 October

My sister just forced me to get a myspace. LOL I've been doing great! Glad to see the summer finally wear down. I don't have to do AS MUCH runnin anyways! We are currently in the process of 'home searching'. Man I never realized what a pain in the arse that can be!! We thought we found one, made and offer, got all the paperwork done, then at the VERY LAST minute the bank said that they would not finance a manufactured home. It was on a foundation so we thought that it was stick built. Ugh...so we're on the hunt again.
Yeah I remember you telling me that you'd be up this way in May. I thought about you! So what have you been up to? Keeping busy I'm sure... Any recent pics of your tadpole? I guess i could just go look huh!

i'm doing good just working and keeping busy hosting family that came into town cuz hurricane ike destroyed their homes ugh....
peanut had his hernia surgery FINALLY after some idiots putting it off for so long! had to take him to the ER cuz it fell and got really hard so his old NICU dr said he'd do the surgery he's doing great now =] getting over a cold LOL today he sat up by himself! i was so proud of him! hows your little one doing?

iden did great with the meds. hes now off of them. the day he finished he started getting stuffy again, so I waited about 5 days and it didnt clear up, so I took him back to the doctor. Now they said that the meds worked to clear up the pneumonia part of it, and now the reason for his runny and stuff nose is allergies. Which is frustrating because there is nothing they can give him for "allergies".
