Baby Hayden 18 wks

My name is Heidi. This is what I used to look like before pregnancy. :-) Now I am 20 weeks pregnant and 19 lbs heavier than I was. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart after 19 years of being on separate paths. I am blessed that fate brought us back together and I am able to give him a son he has never had. I had genetic testing so I know the gender, but still look forward to my 20 wk u/s next week.

(The latest and greatest is that I had my baby on April 3rd. It was quite an experience to say the least. The meds did not work so I ended up having a natural birth. Boy, I commend all those who electively choose natural child birth. Now that I have done it, I appreciate the value of it, but will chose to get the epidural at 5-6 cm if I did it again.

Baby Hayden is now 5 months and a sweetie. I am truly enjoying having a baby in the house again although I still get no sleep and now have high blood pressure. I am still nursing full time and have introduced cereal, fruits, and carrots. In a couple weeks, we will introduce some meat baby food and another vegetable.

People are wondering where I live so here it is....

We had a wonderful weekend with my brother and his family in the Mountains. Baby Hayden even cooperated enough to allow me to hike in 2007. I hope we can do it again.

Well, it is hard to believe that I am now 22 weeks. I am waiting until January to start counting down. As a mother starting life again, it is quite weird and exciting. I am enjoying seeing my kids learn about pregnancy and the technology that goes with it. I think my son wants to be with me for the delivery, but my daughter will be at a Volleyball tournament. I have to say that pregnancy takes a long time and I am totally restless now. The holidays will help the 2nd trimester finish quickly, but the third trimester will probably take forever. Oh well, it has been quite nice having other women to discuss all these feelings with.

haha yea it does. We have her crib at the end of the bed right now so I dont really have to go far. And actually Im starting to adapt sleep wise. I still hate it though. I dont think Eden is feeling well or something today. She didnt sleep last night, she had me up every hour on the dot. The only way she is quiet is on me. She hasnt slept two hours straight since yesterday afternoon. And if I leave even for a minute she cries terrible, gets herself all red and sweats awful. She is really wanting her mommy today.

close enough! just said everyone expect my husband haha

mommytobe20 - Wednesday, 23 April
I've had tons of rest. I think it's because the people next door were burning stuff outside & it was kinda coming into the window so the smell was making me sick. It happened last night too.

mom2boy - Wednesday, 23 April
Well if he wants to keep "testing his voice" he might find himself testing it in is own bedroom soon. Ha ha ha

Wow! You and your daughter look a lot alike! What a good picture.

Yep if the weather around here permitted it, I'm sure we'd be baseball'n it all year round too! My husband will probably be 80 before he decides he can't play anymore and my #4 starts next year...I think I'm in it for the long haul! LOL Keenan my oldest son made it into the "Little League Hall of Fame" last year. He thought that was cool...got his name and picture in a big, national publication...lol! Kamryn is finally growing out of her "premie" outfits. At her doctor appointment last Friday, she had finally made it to a whoppin 7lbs! For as much as she scarfs I thought that she would have weighed more. But she is probably taking after her daddy, lucky thing! He doesn't have but maybe one ounce of fat on him. I swear that man has a tape worm...How much has Hayden grown? He is such a cute little thing! Now I understand the obsession people have with "pinchin of the cheeks!" LOL Hey how's your asthma doing now that you're no longer pregnant? Mine has started to flare up again every now and then. It's the wierdest thing...when I'm pregnant my asthma seems almost nonexistent. My triggers seem to be opposite of other people too. Like for instance, cold air helps me but seems to trigger others'. I just don't get it. I guess I'm just a wierdo!

mom2boy - Tuesday, 22 April
I got a 4 hours stretch last night but after that he was on the 1.5 hr plan. Also for some reason when I would put him in is bassinet he wouldn't cry or anything he would just sit there and hang out but make all his baby noises nice and loud which I was completely unable to sleep through.

mommytobe20 - Tuesday, 22 April
When I hold her, I can't feel the difference in weight from now than when she was born. But everyone else who only sees her like once or twice a week can definitely tell she's gotten a little heavier. But oh my goodness I feel SO sick right now, so I'm gonna go lay down. I'm glad everything is going well for you!

Cryptic304 - Tuesday, 22 April
aw thanks. Haha yea her hair really is...and thats after her hair cut!! She got 3inches taken off! ha. Yea I dont go to bed with my husband anymore. I got like 2-3 hrs earlier so I can have at least a couple hrs uninterrupted as well. I know how you feel Eden is the same way. Every two hours no matter what. And it never feels like you actually get to sleep in between there ya know? We had her sleep in the bed with us the other night and she actually slept 4-5 hrs straight! I wish she would do that more often!
Yea I will know how the meds go, apparently I wont really know a difference for about a week or so though.
How you feeling...besides being exhausted...

first-time-mami - Tuesday, 22 April
hey there missy! hows the lil one?

Cryptic304 - Tuesday, 22 April
aw thanks. I already changed it again. ha. Jade wanted to have a photoshoot last night. I only put two up in my photobook though. There is one of the two girls kissing, it is so cute. ha. Aw well sounds like hayden is doing wonderful!!
The doc put me on zoloft...I hope that works out...

me6 - Tuesday, 22 April
Thank you for the nice comment. I don't know much about vb, but I sure can relate with baseball. Everyone in my family who is old enough plays, except me cause I just don't have time! LOL Kids sure don't stay little very long do they. It's almost heartbreaking.

snowie13 - Tuesday, 22 April
You poor thing! He'll come around :o)) Unfortunately I don't have that problem LOL!!!

mommytobe20 - Monday, 21 April
What was his birth weight again? Mine is 8 lbs 8 oz which I already told you I think & she's now 2 inches longer than her birth length which was 19 3/4 in. I'm getting pictures of my daughter at the beginning of May. My grandma bought her a cute white & pink dress & white dress shoes so I figured I'd get them done a.s.a.p while she fits into her Newborn dress.

Pregnant-MILFway - Monday, 21 April
Hey hey! How is every thing going? Been freakin busy as anything. Poped open bottle of wine last night! :) Need I say more. LOL

Cryptic304 - Monday, 21 April
awww. Yea Jade isnt able to hold Eden on her own yet but tries all the time, its so cute. Yea I wanted Jade in the room too but it was a scary labor so yea. I'll let you know how the dr goes tomorrow...Im hoping well, its really getting out of hand...it got scary yesterday...

mommytobe20 - Monday, 21 April
Aww, this picture is so cute. It kinda looks like the baby is smiling. :)

mommytobe20 - Monday, 21 April
My daughter has mostly 0-3 months & 3-6 months. But she can't fit into them yet unfortunately. The gowns are SO convenient during the middle of the night. I use them on my daughter too, it makes the diaper changes quick & easy. I can't believe last night my baby slept from 12:30 am until 6:00 am. I was shocked. Lately it's been so hard to get her to sleep when I'm ready for bed. My dad seems to be the only person able to get her to sleep, lol.

jenn1022 - Sunday, 20 April
Wooo I got my internet working again! Yikes you dont realize how much you use it until you dont have it and dont know what to do with yourself! Matthew is getting big, he is getting a little chubby even! can you believe it? I must be feeding him good! Well he seems to be getting over his cold really well, we just have to suction out his nose so he can breathe and his eyes got a little yucky so we have to wipe them out but today he is breathing better and his eyes arent as gooped up as they were yesterday! So Thank God for that. I had to the E>R for bleeding on Friday and they gave me pills to stop me from contracting to stop it. I guess its not normal to bleed this long afterward and I was bleeding non stop really heavy, I really don't know why but I go on Monday to see my OBGYN to see what is going on.Hopefully all is ok and we both can be better soon!

snowie13 - Sunday, 20 April
Oh I feel your pain!!! My last little one was like that except he'd be up every hour and 1/2 to eat or be soothed. It was pure H*LL but he's a good sleeper now. Thankfully, London only wakes to eat and goes right back to sleep. There's only been a few nights where she's up but I try to calm her and get her to go back to bed as soon as I can. You know they say no eye contact, no talking to the baby, no bright lights. It seemed to work with my last one. He got a little better around 9 weeks or so, right when I went back to work but wasn't a great sleeper until he was about 10 months and I stopped nursing. UGH!! Hang in there!!! Have a good Sunday! xx

darcy - Saturday, 19 April
Thanks for the encouragement, baby looked very healthy on the sonogram there were no indicators of the syndrome so I am not worried; just hate that they laid the pressure to do the amnio test and I fell for it - won't get the results for 2 weeks... but no worries :)

me6 - Friday, 18 April
At least he's getting well traveled! LOL

Cryptic304 - Friday, 18 April
Im doing ok I guess. Im not really bleeding out anymore, but dealing with alot of bloody discharge, still having to wear thick pads. My teeth are KILLING ME!! I'll get into a dentist soon...maybe. ha. Mentally...rough. I have a dr appt monday for the postpartum depression so thats good. Aw let me know how hayden has grown! Eden is doing good...she spits up an awful lot though, like its insane how much she spits up. She still does the hyperventilating breathing thing but its not as much as before so yea. Yea Jade is doing really well with her. Always wanting to help or love on her.
How are things on your end?

mommytobe20 - Friday, 18 April
I know how that goes with the outfit changing. I go through so many outfits everyday with her. I try using bibs but sometimes it's hard to get it on her because I need 2 hands to do it but I also gotta hold her too so. But she has SO many clothes so I'm not really worried about it. She barely fits into her Newborn clothes. They're still too big, lol. I can't wait until she wears her 0-3 months because she's got SO many adorable outfits & she can't even wear them yet.
