Baby Hayden 18 wks

My name is Heidi. This is what I used to look like before pregnancy. :-) Now I am 20 weeks pregnant and 19 lbs heavier than I was. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart after 19 years of being on separate paths. I am blessed that fate brought us back together and I am able to give him a son he has never had. I had genetic testing so I know the gender, but still look forward to my 20 wk u/s next week.

(The latest and greatest is that I had my baby on April 3rd. It was quite an experience to say the least. The meds did not work so I ended up having a natural birth. Boy, I commend all those who electively choose natural child birth. Now that I have done it, I appreciate the value of it, but will chose to get the epidural at 5-6 cm if I did it again.

Baby Hayden is now 5 months and a sweetie. I am truly enjoying having a baby in the house again although I still get no sleep and now have high blood pressure. I am still nursing full time and have introduced cereal, fruits, and carrots. In a couple weeks, we will introduce some meat baby food and another vegetable.

We had a wonderful weekend with my brother and his family in the Mountains. Baby Hayden even cooperated enough to allow me to hike in 2007. I hope we can do it again.

Well, it is hard to believe that I am now 22 weeks. I am waiting until January to start counting down. As a mother starting life again, it is quite weird and exciting. I am enjoying seeing my kids learn about pregnancy and the technology that goes with it. I think my son wants to be with me for the delivery, but my daughter will be at a Volleyball tournament. I have to say that pregnancy takes a long time and I am totally restless now. The holidays will help the 2nd trimester finish quickly, but the third trimester will probably take forever. Oh well, it has been quite nice having other women to discuss all these feelings with.

How exciteing you are at the hospital having your little man. I am very happy for you even though I should have been there before you. LOL Hopefully it went quick for you. Heyyyyy - so she is going to give you some relief! Woo Hoo! We're gonna have us a baby by the weekend! My appt is nto until Apr 3. My husband says that I should wait at least a week after my due date. He's adament about me not having any kind of artificial induction. Personally, I think he wants to screw my brains out until my water beraks. He's been clawing at me allweek, but I can't deal with it right now. Stuff should be comingout, not going in! LOL. Men are so insensitive. I can't wait until he's pregnant with my baby, so I can harass him!
