Baby Hayden 18 wks

My name is Heidi. This is what I used to look like before pregnancy. :-) Now I am 20 weeks pregnant and 19 lbs heavier than I was. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart after 19 years of being on separate paths. I am blessed that fate brought us back together and I am able to give him a son he has never had. I had genetic testing so I know the gender, but still look forward to my 20 wk u/s next week.

(The latest and greatest is that I had my baby on April 3rd. It was quite an experience to say the least. The meds did not work so I ended up having a natural birth. Boy, I commend all those who electively choose natural child birth. Now that I have done it, I appreciate the value of it, but will chose to get the epidural at 5-6 cm if I did it again.

Baby Hayden is now 5 months and a sweetie. I am truly enjoying having a baby in the house again although I still get no sleep and now have high blood pressure. I am still nursing full time and have introduced cereal, fruits, and carrots. In a couple weeks, we will introduce some meat baby food and another vegetable.

We had a wonderful weekend with my brother and his family in the Mountains. Baby Hayden even cooperated enough to allow me to hike in 2007. I hope we can do it again.

Well, it is hard to believe that I am now 22 weeks. I am waiting until January to start counting down. As a mother starting life again, it is quite weird and exciting. I am enjoying seeing my kids learn about pregnancy and the technology that goes with it. I think my son wants to be with me for the delivery, but my daughter will be at a Volleyball tournament. I have to say that pregnancy takes a long time and I am totally restless now. The holidays will help the 2nd trimester finish quickly, but the third trimester will probably take forever. Oh well, it has been quite nice having other women to discuss all these feelings with.

Yeah, it's just weird! I've never felt this way about being pregnant! I hope and pray that it's just the hormones talking! Kamryn is doing awesome! She slept all night for the first time so I finally got some sleep lastnight. I hope that it lasts. Thank God for digital cameras...I've taken about 100 more pictures of Kamryn and hope to have some up this afternoon if you'd like to take a look.

Thank you :o) I am nervous about getting pitocin and am kind of dredding it because I don't want to end up resorting to an epidural. Well, we'll see what happens :o) I can't wait to meet her.

My feet are actually ok. If I have been up on my feet all day then my ankles are huge. My fingers are really the only thing (other than my tummy) that has gotten bigger! I am so sleepy too. I think it is because I can't get any sleep at night!

I kinda hate going to work everyday but I think that it helps me because it keeps my mind off hanving the baby. But I am so tired!

I had him the day you sent your last message. Kind of funny. My water broke Last Monday as I was waking up for the day. He was born at 3 a.m. on Tuesday. He sure took his sweet time coming out. You can read his very uneventful birth story on his page. How are you hanging in there? Yours will be here very soon. Everyone is down to any day now. I was shocked when mine made an early appearence!

Hope you had a happy Easter too. We went to friends house for dinner and then I had to go to work. I love the weather and it should be nice and cool this week. I was thinking about laying out in the sun!

Hi there, yep, I'm good. I had a hectic Easter. How was yours? I saw my Dr. today. He's inducing me on Saturday. I've stopped gaining weight and the baby isn't really getting any bigger so he's worried that my placenta isn't feeding her as well as it could be. I think that she's just going to be a smaller baby. Either way, Thursday will be my last day at work - thank goodness!! and Friday I have an appt. with the Dr. so that he can check my cervix. I'm excited but wish that she would come naturally. I'm not crazy about induction or the pain in brings - LOL! How are you? How was your Easter?

aw thank you love, its hard to look decent these days. Well yesterday I had a good day, but today has been bad. Very sore and in alot of pain again. I think Im contracting pretty good...but cramping as well so hard to tell. Kinda nauseated too. Im going to take some castor oil tonight...

Hey!! I'm okay, did you read my update for today? I'm shook girl to be honest! LOL! Yeah I am sore under my ribs from Nia tapping on them. Now that she dropped a fairly good amount according to the dr. it is rough. Easter was great for me.... I did a lot of walking.

Mt Dr. office is the same way but they make a point to fit the preggos in at any time, usually :o) I was having some contractions last night that were in my belly and moving down into my groin/legs and back. So I couldn't sleep but I had to tell myself that if it's the real thing then eventually I would get them so bad they would wake me up. They didn't :o( Still waiting.

I'm so jealous of your flip flops!! i don't think I could do shorts now b/c i can't stand to look at my fat legs LOL!! it's about 33 outside right now but the sun is out and it's actually a pretty nice day. I keep gently reminding the ppl at work that i'm not due until April 3rd and I haven't had an early baby yet. some of them have taken the hint he he.

Work wouldn't be bad for me if people would realize there's more to me than just baby. It's like people don't know what to say to you anymore and if I get one more 'you're still here?' I think I might scream LOL!!!
