So much has happened in the last almost 2 months.....I have been so busy!
Gabriel is doing fine, BIG, but fine. He is weighing in at 8-9 pounds at this point. This is due mainly to the gestastional diabetes. OHHH....he is also BREECH!
My last day of work was April 14th. I was sent home due to preeclampsia...you should have seen my feet..WOW! I spent a couple of days in the hospital last week. But now I am home again on STRICT bed rest.
I see the doctor 2 times a week (my mother or husband drive me), I have gained a total of 32 pounds, and we have scheduled a c-section for May 12th at noon!

Went to the doctor again. Had the 4d scan! Gabriel spent the whole time trying to stick his foot in his mouth! HA! It was great!
Unfortunately I also learned I failed the 3 hour glucose test; therefore, gestational diabetes!!!
I started checking my blood sugar 7 times a day, eating a more restrictive diet, and scheduled a visit with the dietician.
The doctor has approved my last day of work as May 9. He has also agreed to induce atleast a week early.....maybe earlier. I am shooting for a May 12 birthday!
I placed the new photos under the photo tab....so much easier!!!!

I failed the glucose test! UGH!
Therefore, I spent last night fasting and the whole morning (from 8 til noon) in the doctor's lab doing bloodwork. NOT FUN!
Let's see what happens now!!!

Good appointment today. My mom and husband both made it as well.
I had my glucose test....will get the results later.
The belly is measuring 30 inches...a little bit large, and Gabriel's heartbeat is a steady and healthy 150 bpm
I lost 3 pounds! YEAH for the special diet! It seems to be workings; however, I would do just about anything for a large pepperoni pizza right now!
He is having me come back next week because of the swelling in my feet and my blood pressure...better safe than sorry....right???
I am also getting a 4d scan next week....I can't wait to see my little man! I hope he gets my nose!
ALSO....baby shower is coming up real soon (excited)
My mother is hosting an English high tea for the great-grandmas, the grandmas, the great aunts and the aunts....fun!
My work shower is going to be a book shower to officially create Gabriel's library!!!

Well things just keep happening. I got a call from the Dr. yesterday! SURPRISE!
They are increasing my thyroid medication.....AGAIN!
I hope this helps with the sleep. I would do practically anything at this point for some sense of normalcy!
But boy do I love my little Gabriel....this last couple of months is like torture....I just want him here!

Oh what a month....and NOT a good one either.
I put on a whopping 23 pounds...WHOA!
Gabriel is weighing 3 ounces heavy as well!
My doctor does not plan on changing my due date; therefore, I am on a lovely new diet for the next 16 weeks!!!
No eating out....bye chinese, bye mexican...sigh!
HELLO grilled chicken, green veggies, fruit, and oats!
I can do this as long as it is for my baby boy!
If the diet does not control it, next month is the lovely glucose testing!
Keep your fingers, hairs, toes, and legs crossed that the diet and the meds I am on are enough!!!

Made it a month. OHHHHHHH. What a month!
I have been as sick as a dog! no, wait, I think even worse!
Sinus infection, all day sickness that would not stop, could not eat or drink, and then the FLU!!!
Sooooo, I mad a couple calls to the office and was put on some meds for the vomiting! boy did that help
Then, yesterday, at my appointment (just a check up) I found out I LOST 16 POUNDS!!!!
You read it right! Everything is okay though. So I am going back on the 27th to find out boy or girl! What a great gift for the end of the year!!!!!

Had another visit to the Dr. today. My mother and husband have decided to trade off visits. How fun!!! Anyway, the minute we walked in my mom told the doctor, "I want to see my grandbaby!" Luckily I have the coolest doctor in the whole wide world, and he said, "OKAY!"
The next big yeehaw was that no more vaginal U/S, all jelly on the belly ones now!!! WOOHOO!
SO.....the pod was sucking its thumb....AAAAHHHH
other than that everything is wonderful, fantastic, and moving right along. We are going to try once a month visits again. So I will be going back on December 6th. I will post the new U/S pics later!

I had an awful scare today! I was at work, feeling great for the first time in awhile. I had to go to the bathroom but was going to wait about 10 more minutes...had that OOPS think I might have waited to long (no bladder control). Reached down and HELLOOOOOO....hand covered in red!
Rushed in to the doctor (be it still felt fine). Had an U/S...and everything was groovy!
Podly looks like he/she has doubled in size, lovely little zipper of a spinal column, and a beautiful little heartbeat.
Doctor did a physical exam and said my cervix was closed and he could not see where the blood was coming from. Could simply be I bent wrong, stretched wrong, or whatnot! But he said he felt everything was A-okay.He did put me back on 2 week visits...this actually made me feel better. Here is hoping everything keeps going on like it should and that we have NO MORE scares!!!

October 18, 2007Had a doctor's appointment today. Thought it was just for my yearly and to "check in". However, got me a surprise....another U/S! Got to see Podly (that is what it is being called) roll around and shake those little fist at me! WOW

Just a little update....I feel like @#$%^&*.I had an awesome week last week...no nausea, no aches, no tiredness....and then WHAM....this last weekend came on like a tyrant.I had a lovely migraine that came on with a ringing in my ear and spotty vision...then I slept the rest of the weekend. I think this went on to irritate my body aches.TMI... but I am also terribly bloated (in spite of eating plenty of fruits, veggies, and whole grains). My belly is so very distended right now.....UGH!It would appear to the outside observer that I have gotten FAT....and that is NOT the pregnant fat!I cannot wait until I am just PREGNANT fat...that will be oh so lovely!

OMG! It was amazing! Todd and I were able to see and hear the heartbeat of our baby! I am 100% in love already.

I go tomorrow for my second U/S.This will be the first time I have made it this far without having a miscarriage!My fingers are crossed. Hoping that the baby glue (progesterone) has helped do the trick and hoping I see a miniature heartbeat tomorrow!!!

Todd and I are pregnant again! This is pregnancy #4 for us. I have never made it to 7 weeks because the little sucker has never been able to implant. After finding out that I have hypothyroidism, diabetes, PCOS, and thrombophelia,I think the doctors finally think they found what to do!
