so here's my story (the fast version) because it might help all of those who have had a loss in the past....got married...one year later got pregnant...had a beautiful baby girl. less than two years later, got pregnant, blighted ovum... m/c naturally at 10 weeks... six months later got pregnant, blighted ovum again (and 'they' say a woman may only ever have one in a lifetime, ha), m/c naturally at 14 weeks... tried 5 months later, got pregnant in 2 months, here i am excited as all get out because i just took a test at 8 dpo and got a faint bfp!! already feel exhausted and got nauseaus (sp?) every time i ate anything in the past two days... maybe it's twins so i can get back what the enemy stole!! ha!

feb. 28 - so i got my progesterone levels today... 19! my midwife was going to put me on progesterone due to the last two losses if it was less than 10, but it was almost double that so i'm good! things are looking great. i'm on baby aspirins as well...

Mar. 8th - Well, i slept in until 1:00pm and now it's a little after 10pm and i can barely keep my eyes open. this stage of the game is great b/c you literally have an excuse to sleep forever! but this next week is when it really hit me all the other pregnancies. let's pray for minimal weight gain for me and maximum health for my little one. lol.

March 14 - Well, the sickness has started... along with extreme metal mouth. Definitely feeling this one ladies... :)

March 18 - Big Big Big news!! went into the doctor today due to some spotting last night.... not excited about it. had a vaginal ultrasound and there's a baby measuring right on with a heartbeat of 118!! right on! the doc said the bleeding is due to a blood pocket that formed during implantation... nothing to fret! so here we are with a baby and a heartbeat, something i didn't see with the last two losses. Big news! p.s. no twins, just one healthy little guy!

March 25 - i kept some tomato soup down today...:)

April 17 - everything is going great, the m/s has eased quite a bit and i still haven't gained any weight. i am starting to pop already though, which is fun to finally look the part, you know! i have my first appt. with the midwife on tues. and we are hoping to hear the heartbeat through the doppler as i will be 11.5 weeks. if we don't i have the option to have another ultrasound to answer any questions i may have...

April 22 - went to the midwife today and got my first check up. i am measuring right on and my hubby and i heard the heartbeat!! how exciting! now we can tell all of our friends and the remaining family members...whew! the bpm was 160 so that's great!

May 15 - 14 weeks 4 days and i felt the little one moving around this morning. well, actually, i felt it a couple of times throughout the day when i was sitting or laying down, so i'm am super, super excited!!

May 19 - Had my appt. today, measuring a little larger...i am 15 weeks but measured 16.5-17 weeks. heartbeat was around 135 and strong. everything seems to be on track! Get my ultrasound on June 16th...
