Hey, i saw your post about the gastional diabeties (sp?) and thought i would reply to your post.. first of all, good luck on your blood work.. i HATE having to have blood work done cause i am SOOO scard of needles! But i saw where you said you thought only bigger people got... gastional diabeties is a form of diabeties that ONLY occurs in pregnant women... the regular types of diabeties are all about genetics besically if someone in your family is diabetic you could also become diabetic... regardless of size. I had a good friend in high school that was skinny as a pole and then our junior year she was diagnosed with diabeties! But with the gastional diabeties it all has to do with pregnancy... if you do develop it with your pregnancy it goes away after you give birth! now, im not sure what causes certain people to develop gastional diabeties BUT i hope all this other info was helpful! I was confused like you because no one in my family is diabetic so i didnt understand why they would be testing me so my doctor explained it to me lol.... anyways, good luck with your blood work.. i go this wednesday to get tested for the gastional diabeties so WISH ME LUCK! hopefully i dont pass out from the needle lol!

thanks for your advice on my leg cramps-- that really helps! i have been stretching in that way and it has relieved me a lot. today, it is still sore to walk and go up and down stairs, but i can tell i am on my way to healing. you must be super-mom with soon-to-be six kids-- take care!

If you're doc won't take a quick peek for you, there are 3D-4D places that do just regular ultrasounds for $100 JUST to find out the sex and they advertise that if they don't find out at that appt, they give you another one for free until they do which is pretty cool...maybe try looking into that??

I took the test Thursday and dont know the results yet. They didn't ask if I wanted it just told me what it was for. I guess I must not have an option. I see you have 5 boys do you know what your having yet? Do you want to find out? Good Luck!!!!
