Hubby wants to do it now or in a few weeks. I want to wait. I know it might help, but doctors know more than me and say wait for a reason. It might just be a precaution, but she is gaining weight and sleeps 3-5 hours in between feedings. He just wants her to sleep the entire night so he does not have to get up. She is a baby though and will grow out of it soon enough. She will eat though and go right back to sleep so we are only inconvenienced for like 20 minutes.

How early did everyone say they are giving their babies cereal or rice?

fisheagle74 - Monday, 25 August
yes still bleeding!!! It sucks!

Boopy - Friday, 22 August
I had it done only because I bled heavily for 4 weeks straight and then it stopped for 2 days...then really heavy again (probably my period). Also...my pregnancy test stayed positive for 2 months after! They determined via ultrasound that I had some placenta remaining. It was not enough to require a D and C though....they said the remaining placenta would come out with the period. If my bleeding had gotten worse than it was...then they would have done the D and C.

Why is your Dr doing it? Are you bleeding heavily?

Crappy about your PUPP's breakout...that sucks...glad to hear all is back on track...hope your Dr's appointment went well.

Owen will be 3 weeks this coming Monday and I can't believe how the time has flown. My recovery is slow going, but its heading in the right direction. I'm off the pain medication now and just taking things day by day...the worst is not being as mobile as I'm used to but all those who have had c-sections have said that although the process is slow, it is good to take thing easy...hope your recovery woe's are done and you are feeling somewhat normal...good to hear from you...your boy is adorable!!!! stay in touch...michelle

Oh Im sorry. I used to work for at a cardiologist office and I know that most of the time brachycardia and tachycardia are pretty manangeable and something you can live with. But I'd be freaking out too. I get scared when the least little thing is wrong with me. Let me know how things go. Your baby is a cutie!

weloveourbaby - Tuesday, 19 August
I am praying for you...please don't feel alone as our Lord is always with you!

mommad - Monday, 18 August
I've never heard of that condition. I know that brachycardia is a slower heart rate. Was your baby diagnosed with it? Im so sorry. I'm here if you need to talk.

my daughter is almost 4 weeks and I am still bleeding red off and on. I also passed a HUGE clot about a week ago with lots of red blood behind it for about a day. I still feel great otherwise though so I guess it is normal.

MommyWonder - Sunday, 17 August
I'm still bleeding red, but not bleeding as much anymore. I guess that's normal right?

nicole1stchild - Sunday, 17 August

Hey you...things are great...how about you and Isaac? Great name by the way...hope you guys are settling in to your new 'roles'...I'm sure Isaac is getting big. They grow so fast!!! R U breastfeeding? How's that going? My milk came in a few days ago and all is well, but they fill up if he doesn't eat on every 3 hours. He's been sleeping about 3.5 hours now and they are beginning to resemble Dolly Parton rocks...lol.

Hope your birth recovery is going well...any updated photos?

michelle

Angelo has his days and nights mixed up, but it's getting better. For some reason he only sleeps well in the crib and pack 'n play. I think the change in his feeding schedule, bathing him right before bed and keeping him up a couple of hours before we go to bed has helped out a lot. His sleep schedule is getting better.

blueeyes71883 - Sunday, 10 August
congrats on your baby :)

ericka - Sunday, 10 August
hmmm..it's cleared up now but it took about 20 minutes or so....the less i moved around and stayed still it stopped!! take it easy and the blood might slow down or stop all together.

cailey hiccups all the time really hard ones that sound like they hurt last night was the only time shes ever puked from them tho but she seemed okay after she puked the hiccups stopped

MommyWonder - Thursday, 7 August
My Angelo gets the hiccups all the time, although he doesn't throw up, just spits up a bit. I've tried feeding him a bit and that seems to help temporarily. He makes the cutest sound with the hiccups though, lol

almostthere - Thursday, 7 August
Colin gets the hiccups several times a day as well. He also spits up a ton as well. We are currently feeding him less more often. Hopefully it helps, those hiccups have got to be annoying!

mamakristin - Thursday, 7 August
with the hiccups, try little tummy's gripe water. It will stop them instantly. Plus it will settle his stomach. I havent even given all of it to my son before his hiccups are gone. And its natural.. not a medication. Good luck.
