OMG!! My Little one will be coming soon.. possibly tonight... just got home from the doctors.. my cervix is very ripe... and I am 2-3 centimeters dialated.. and had the option to go directly to the hospital to be induced.. decided to hold off so the babys lungs had more time to develop (38 weeks on Sunday). The doctor thinks I will likely go into labor tonight.. if not, I go back in to see him tomorrow afternoon and will likely be induced then! I am so excited.. and nervous of course!! wish me luck!

Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Tuesday, 9 September Stress is definitely the culprit. Do what you can to eliminate it. I notice I don't produce as much on days when I am worried about things...so many rules for breastfeeding! juliedue2008 -
Tuesday, 9 September I pump 100% and have noticed that my milk has dropped for 55oz to 35ish oz a day all within the last two weeks.. i am trying today to pump every time i think of it.. and see if that helps but more often then not it doesnt matter if i pump 10 tiems or 3times still the same amount ABCMommy -
Tuesday, 9 September Go get Fenugreek! It can be found at a natural organic store or in the sumplement section, 3 pills 3 times a day and it sould bounce right back up, only downfall is you smell a little like maple syrup, but it works, eat something with it to just to make sure your blood sugar doesn't drop. google it and read up on it of course though before you start it. and stress really can kill a milk supply, I know this first hand!!! try to relax as well! branbug -
Tuesday, 9 September Sky, that is very upseting! I am so sorry to hear that. I knwo stress plays a big roll. I would deff. contact a lactation consultant or your OBGYN and ask them, they would prob know best. Good luck with you!

Sunday, 13 July I am so sorry about having to go back to work, I am starting my third week tomorrow. I cried every day my last week of mat leave. The first day I was crying in the bathroom stall at work. I didn't make it through the day. In fact I haven't made it a full week yet. Going back to work has been the hardest thing I have done. People say it gets easier and I want to know when. momoffive -
Saturday, 12 July I just read your post about having to start back to work. I'm so sorry! I remember the week leading up to the day I was supposed to return back to work after I had my first child. All that I did was cry. My husband and I had talked about it and it just was not possible for me to stay home with her. Well, the morning that I got up to go I was sobbing, I couldn't bare the thought of leaving her all day long with anyone, not even family. I told my husband I just couldn't do it. I called work and told them I wasn't coming back and have been a stay at home mom ever since. We were very poor but we made it work. The economy was stronger then and simple things like gas were much more affordable. I don't know if we could swing it now if we were still where we were then as far as income but my staying home motivated my very smart ambitious husband to go back to school and get a great job and quickly climb the corprate ladder. I really believe that if they can, mommies should stay home but know full well that isn't always an option. I just really enourage you to have faith in your instincts and really evaluate all of your options (which I'm sure your doing). I really feel for you and know how bad your heart is hurting right now. Maybe you could go back just temporarily and find a way to work out of your home just part time. I'll keep you in my prayers. Hang in there. juliedue2008 -
Saturday, 12 July Great!!! So happy that it worked out!!! juliedue2008 -
Monday, 7 July No problem!! I hope it helps! lilmamma -
Monday, 30 June wow! ok that is encouraging. I spent about $30 at target getting one of each kind of bottle, with no success. I spoke with a couple of parents whose kids were like this too and said some babies are just stubbon, so I've sorta given up... I changed my july 4th plans from a wild night at the beach to a slow weekend in the moutains ha. There is no way my little one can be babysat for more than an hour or 2 without bottles... But now that you tell me this maybe I will give him a try when he is still sleeping? that is sneaky! thanks for advice, I'll let ya know! mom2boy -
Saturday, 28 June Oh yeah and one more thing have some one other than you try. Some babies won't take bottles from their mom because they know mom has the goods but will take bottles from dad. mom2boy -
Thursday, 26 June My son did the same thing, and this is what worked for me. I got all the nipples I have (even the ones that are the exact same brand, flow, material) and put water in the tip and held them all up to see which one dripped out the slowest. I picked the slowest nipple and used that one. I used pumped breast milk immediately after pumping it. I warmed up the nipple under hot running water and then tickled his upper lip with it until he opened his mouth and just barely placed the nipple slightly into his mouth. Never shove it all the way in just put it in enough that he knows it is there. Wait for him to initiate sucking and slowly let him such the rest of the nipple in his mouth. If he spits it our or rejects it let him, and just tickle his lip again. Do this over and over. Try sitting him in different positions. Try sitting him in a bouncer or car seat. Try laying him in the nursing position try sitting him on your lap facing away from you, that one worked for Jamison. And the most important part is NEVER try it when they are hungry, do it in between meals. One website put it best, if you are starving and there is a plate of food in front of you and some one gives you chop sticks to eat it with and you don't know how to use chop sticks you are going to be very frustrated and demand silver wear. If you aren't hungry you will be willing to experiment a little. So the two biggies offer it between meals and do not shove the nipple in his mouth. juliedue2008 -
Thursday, 26 June i put a nuk and a soothie in there for you.. they will go out today!!! lilmamma -
Thursday, 26 June Hello, I just saw your post after I posted on the forem with basically the same problem... my son all of a sudden has decided he will not take anymore bottles! It really has me freaking out, its impossible to feed him with one bc all he does is scream and cry. I dont know what to do... so please, PLS let me know if you try something that works. I have tried Avent bottles and Medela... I dont even think he tries them, as soon as he realizes its not my breast his mouth opens wide and he lets out a big ol scream. Oh yea and he hates pacifiers too. What in the world can I do??? Aarons Mommy -
Thursday, 26 June I only breastfeed too, but I do have to use a bottle sometimes. I tried alot of different bottles and my son loves the Dr Browns Wide. I tried the others but he wouldn't have anything to do with them or would use it once and not want it again. I would try the Dr Brown wide, I guess it's more like the nipple because I've heard that alot of breastfed babies like it. juliedue2008 -
