Well here I am, I just turned 24 on Dec 8th. I moved to taxes with my fiance last june. We talked about having kids, tried for a month, then decided lets not plan things, rather let things happen. As soon as I said that BAM... there I was 3 days late and didn't suspect a thing. My fiance was the one who suggested I may be pregnant, half joking of course. This is our first baby for both and we are extremely excited, well I'm more nervous than excited. I miscarried about 6 years ago so only naturally every twinge, gas, bubble, tummy upset leads me to believe I'm going to miscarry. Hope and praying for the best though of course. Had 1 U/S and the tech said the heart rate was low (103 at 6 weeks exaclty). I think once I have another U/S and know the HR is up I will be better, able to enjoy things more. Please write me if you ever need to talk, relate, complain, anything. Great to know other girls are going through similar situations.

that's awesome that you got to video and experience that. I wish I could have had my first without a c-section and this one but it's too much of a risk but either way..it's beautiful. good luck and hope all goes well!

beloneesmommy - Friday, 18 July
Were you watching Hogan knows best before bed that night?

heather0120 - Friday, 18 July
hey...did you have your visit with the midwife and ask her about the burning??? Just curious. I went to the doc today and still couldn't bring myself to ask. I was too much into asking all kinds of other questions since he gave us our date of July 29th for my c-section.

dasha - Thursday, 17 July
Great. At least I'm not alone. I had to ask that very question just last week.....

Ok I'm super late on the response. But I was out of town for a week. Ok how I knew she was colicky was the symptoms. But I've been watching my diet better now. We have some stuff for her gas and I also have gripe water. She's doing much better now. Thanks for the advice. The beer thing - ummm I hate beer. LOL I'd much rather have a nice glass of wine. LOL

I have the same issue with the burning. We tried lube as well but it didn't make a difference. ??? I was too embarrassed to ask my doctor so I have no idea why. If you find anything else out...let me know please. It did that "after" I had my first child too???

Hey girl. Don't feel too bad. I've gained 59 pounds, as of this morning :( Not too excited about that one. My Dr. never says a word about it, but I keep waiting for him to....

Your welcome! Its good to know we don't have to waste our breast milk if we do decide to have a drink every now and then :o)

tiffjoy - Saturday, 14 June
Alcohol only stays in your system 3-4hrs, so you don't have to pump and dump. As long as you feed your little one and then drink, by the next feeding it should be out of your system. I learned this in a breastfeeding class recently. I am not a big drinker either, but since it has been forbidden for over 8mths I am dying for a drink, lol!!!!

Naw my day sucked for the most part but I have my shower tomorrow to look forward to and it's a 3 day weekend for me so that is a plus for me, and I get to go to bed soon!
But yeah I totally hear you, they haven't said anything about my weight but I know what it was and what it is. Hubby is gone right now or I know I wouldn't have gone overboard but like you said, we've been stressed and it is what it is. I take after my dad's side of the family and they are a little chubby even when not pregnant so I already know I gotta watch it, I've tried to get time for exercise but when you're the only one taking care of a 4 yr old you don't get much time!
But I'm here to support ya girl, we can do this! I love water with some lemon juice, tastes so good nice and cold, or some orange juice, yummy so that's what I'm gonna be drinking from now on, no soda for me!

Hello! I am feeling the same way. My husband doesn't touch my belly too much, which I think is my fault. During the day I couldn't think it was any more adorable when he rubs it but at night.... ughhh I can't stand it! I'm the same way.. like there is enough pressure and it is hard enough to get comfortable at night with out a big arm added onto it :)

I also have the pain in my sides. I get alot of pain in my hips too. It makes getting up to pee (every few hours) so difficult! Anyways, just thought I would let you know I'm right there with you

Take care and good luck with the new condo and baby of course!!

Number2intheOven - Thursday, 1 May
I'm too tired for exercise lol. I have found myself falling asleep sitting up, how sad...like I'm 80. Thanks for the advice though! Swimming sounds really good.

Thanks for your comment:) I am right there with you on a little bit of nerves about getting the Rhogam shot, but I think I'll be more relieved than anything that the baby is going to be safer that way. Some people say it hurts and others say it doesn't. I think I'll go in with the mindset like I do with stretch marks, they are battle wounds but the battle is worth it:) (although I really don't have any yet...hoping to keep it that way!) Congratulations on your pregnancy...we are due just a few days before you! :)

You can use Gyne-Lotrimin (Clotrimazole) cream. Make sure that you use the 7-day treatment and not the one or three day treatments. The shorter treatment durations are too strong. You are right not to douche! I am a pharmacist and we give Clotrimazole cream to pregnant women all of the time! Good luck.

Hey there. Sorry to hear about the yeast infection..NOT fun!! I got one in the begining of the second trimester and my doc said it was perfectly ok to use Monistat. SHe told me to use the 7 day one, just because its more likely to get rid of the infection. So thats what I used and everything is perfectly fine now!!! Good luck!!!

tetera - Sunday, 27 April
You are smart to avoid douching...that can be bad and add to further infections! You should go to your local pharmacies and ask the actual pharmacist (not someone at the counter or a technician; the pharmacist has a doctorate) and he or she should be able to advise you on what medication would be safe to relieve your yeast infection. Meanwhile, eating yogurt can help!
