This will be our #2 bubs, we are very excited but I think being due in late Aug/early Sept means that I will probably not be able to attend some close friends weddings this year. Oh well hey ho, we will have our own little celebration!
I am quite nervous as I don't want to jinx things, but want to tell the world we are expecting, got to keep that mouth closed for now.

I went to see the MW today and it was fab! she was very helpful and gave me a scan date of 14th February - a Valentines Day Scan - how romantic! Am very excited and counting the days until the scan, and then can broadcast to the world!!!
YAY! Valentines Day scan - 14th Feb 08
Had my U/S today, it was amazing, I was convinced there was nothing in there and there was! Luckily just the one too!! Our next U/S is on 17th April - only another 9weeks to go! I am just feeling so relieved to know that everything is going as it should be, and he is so tiny - only 44mm!! Amazing to know that in another half year he will be a gorgeous little man! I told most of our friends and family today, feel so strange and so proud!

Scary sh*t - I had a bit of a bleed, it happened three times, within the space of 6 hours though so not too bad, I had no cramping or pain - went to the hospital afterwards and was told that the cervix is closed (thank god!) and that its old blood (looked pretty bright to me) and did a doppler on baby so could hear his little heartbeat, all is well. Haven't had any more since - but was incredibly scary indeed!

I think thats cool about the insurance. over here if you can not afford insurance you may qualify for insurance through the state but you have to be in a very low income bracket, and sometimes ppl make too much for that but not enough for private insurance. so a lot of ppl dont get anything. I'm feeling ok but today has been rough. I dont know why but I just hurt all over. i'm really sore everywhere. Weird, but i'll be ok..lol. well i better go jump in the shower because I have to go talk to my daughters principal. *hugs*
p.s.~ my hubby asked how much is yalls gas over there? lol. we are $3.57 a gallon so hes fussin~

that will be sooo great !!! Maybe you could just get a couple of postcards and mail them in an envelope. I know she always wanted to go see BIG BEN and also that Ferris Wheel (the London Eye) i think thats what it is. anyway if you happen to see any of those and maybe one with Union Jack Flag... she would LOVE those. and I would be glad to pay you for them and for the cost of postage. Yeah shes kinda over the cheating thing because she realizes that we know she wasnt cheating and that it will be taken care of Monday. So wow thats weird about the insurance thing. is that like a thing for everyone there or just you guys dont have insurance or what? thats just weird for me. Things are going well on the TTC end I suppose. I never went back to the Dr. to have my HCG levels tested to make sure theqy were at 0. But last time I had them tested they were only 19.5 so it was dropping. Iys not so bad TTC though now that the last month or so has gone by. It just felt like there was a lot of pressure then to get pregnant. I suppose because I was trying to hurry up and replace what I lost... Not that I ever could. So now it doesnt seem like such a chore. lol. thanks for the compliment on the name BTW. I was named after my grqndmother. I used to hate my name but then I realized how special my grandmother must have been in order for my mom to name me after her. well im off to take a hot bath and then most likely go to bed. O i know about the silly ppl hun. but that girl goes beyond silly i think..lol. you should read some of her posts. ANYWAY,,,, that would be SOOO GREAT if you sent her something. Especially after the week shes had. a teacher accused her of cheating on a test today and she was SOOO upset. She had notes laying on her desk and during luch someone passed out the test booklets and just laid them on the kids desks, and they just laid them over her notes. During the test she noticed them and went to put them under her desk and the teacher accused her of trying to read them. and believe me, my child is not a cheater. I know ppl always SAY that but she really is a good kid and she knows all the stuff that was on the test so why cheat. I told her we will see the teacher about it Monday but she still cried all afternoon. so anyway that would be great. so how come you have to pay so much for an U/S? insurance done covered all they will. well im not feeling well today so i'm probably gonna go to bed. *hugs* ~Rachel~
