About me

My husband and I were married December 20, 2006, and happily surprised on January 26th when we found out we were expecting our first child. Since then I was expecting last summer, but unfortunately lost the baby at about 16 weeks along on August 27, 2009. We found out he was a boy and named him Nathan Scott McCarty and buried him in a beautiful cemetery, and now have a beautiful headstone placed there for him. On November 29, 2009, I found out I was expecting again and was so happy. On December 24th, I had heavy bleeding and cramping and was terrified that I might lose this baby like I had the last. When we went to the E.R., they said the baby was fine, but put me on bed-rest, something they hadn't really done in my last pregnancy. After way to many weeks of bed-rest, the bleeding cleared up and I am now back on my feet with a very healthy pregnancy and am so happy to have made it to the half-way mark in this pregnancy. We are going to have a girl and we'll name her Eliza. Her due date is August 15, 2010.
