May 20, 2008--Went to the doctor today for results of my progesterone test that was done the prior week. Not good news. My levels of progesterone actually went down, which is wierd to me. So I am now being referred to an endocrinologist and we will go from there. While I am waiting to get in my DR is having my try 200 mg of chlomid. So we will see!
May 4, 2008--Cycle day 12 and still no positive on my OPK tests. I am a little confused because a couple of days ago I had eggwhite sticky CM but my OPK test still did not have 2 lines. We BD'd just in case. We didn't want to be sorry if we missed our chance. I am getting a little bit frustrated but trying to stay as positive as possible and not stress out. I know if will happen eventually!
April 23, 2007--AF came today!! :) Yea!! Will start taking my chlomid on Friday!!
Hello Everyone! My name is Stacy and I was diagnosed with PCOS about 2 years ago. Last year I was put on metformin and chlomid, however due to the overwhelming emotions of not ovulating my husband and I decided to take a break from trying.
We are finally ready to start all over again and see if we can conceive. I have started the metformin this month and I have an appointment to go see my OB-GYN on the 9th of April and we will be getting started with the chlomid again. I am very excited and scared all at the same time.
If anyone has any advice at all regarding PCOS and trying to conceive I would greatly appreciate it. I have been exercising at the YMCA 4 times a week from anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour, trying to eat better however I don't see the lbs coming off.
Also if you know where to purchase ovulation tests and pregnancy tests for cheaper please feel free to let me know!

I just wanted to say Thank you to you all for your support! I could not have gotten this far TTC for the past months without you all backing me up and reminding me to keep my faith. Right now, I am grateful for my miracle, Please pray for me that it is a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby, this is our first and I was completely shocked by the test. My joy is over whelming, my mom keeps telling me to be positive, and I am like, I will be positive, but I am waiting for my doc appointment Wednesday to make sure all is well. Either way I have to believe God is taking care of me. No matter what, I know DH and I concieved a life and that is the most amazing feeling for me right now.

Hi ladies, you all know I returned Sunday evening from NY. My BB's have been sore and I was soo tired yesterday I wanted to lay down. Well, I went to Walmart this morning to buy a first response and I had to go soo bad I went to my car and opened the box and got a test, then went back in top the back. I told the lady I forgot something. LOL I took it and in no time there was two lines!!!! I got my first BFP in Walmart LOL! I was shaking and I asked the lady that worked there to confirm what I was seeing LOL! She said "yyyeeeaaahh, that is 2 lines," I told her That it is a good thing but I expected a negative LOL. I ran to my car to grab my phone and by that time I was crying with joy. DH said what's wrong, I said crying, "nothing, I took a test and it is positive!" He said it is a good thing. I said I know but I am scared now. All the what if's I am just going to enjoy that positive and not worry for now. When we were in NY, the elderly man who lives above my FIL, he told DH, "I hope you have a healty baby" I was like,. does he know something I don't? So anyway BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited, I just want the confirmation from my doc.

Hi ladies, I am finally home now. We drove 4.5 hours to SIL and then another 7 hours to Upstate NY. Then back yesterday to VA, then we drove tonight home. I missed my home and my dogs, I had to clean a little, but all is well. I have sore BB's and dizziness theis whole week. I have some slight cramping but no AF. I did not pay attention this month or should I say 2 months, so we will see.

Hi all, I am most likely not going to be around for the rest of the week. We are trying to get to VA to catch a ride to NY for the funeral. We spoke to my FIL this AM and he said the funeral is tomorrow, and we are going to just ride with my SIL, it is safer for all of us and then we will just stay there with her til she returns. So all of you have a good week and a good weekend in case I am not around to talk. Baby Dust to all!

Well ladies, I have been told to wait another month, AF has not shown and my doc says to wait another month, I feel like I have already waited a life time, it is like Ok hurry up and wait! LOL I don't know, they told me to take another HPT. I am so tired of them now!! always Negative! I have not had AF seen May 17th.!

Hey yea I know I like this site too because you find so many people who are going through the same thing you are, it makes it nice! This is my first time using Clomid I got a positive ovulation test back on the 15th day of my cycle, now im just waiting to see if it worked! I still have 7 more days before testing, well I can test sunday with one of those first responce 5 days sooner tests haha. I didn't have any side affects from the Clomid, however last night I started to feel like I am getting the flu! YUCK anyhow let me know how this round of clomid goes for you. Hey, thanx for your message. You should read some of my blogs because i never hardly bd last month and didnt think i have ovulated and then bam a positive. We were even going to stop trying and get him the snip! It happens when you least expect it and when i saw that i had the stretchy clear stuff that morning we went for it on the spare of the moment and i recon thats what did it. I even said to him i thought that because thats how my son was made too in the morning!!

Hello I'm fairly new to the site and came across your profile, I am TTC baby #2 and am using Clomid for the first time. I noticed that you too are using clomid. Also, I had ordered some ovulation kits as well as pregnancy tests in bulk off of Ebay it was a lot cheaper I thought than buying them at the local drug store. Hi, I been away from this site for a few days. Miss you all so much. AS you know I was on 150mg of clomid and I'm 4 days late. I'm super scare to test but I will have to soner or later. I have no symptoms at all =(. My doc just called me and she said If I'm not pregnant will I consider IVF? Just don't get bogged down in medical science of getting pregnant. God can get you pregnant and overcome any obstacle you have so don't stess about the OPK too much or anything else, because science can fail and God doesn't. It comes down to His plan and His time. Keep your eye on that- it will actually help you stress less so you don't have to worry about the exact time you BD, or how the heat will effect John, or missing a pill, etc. None of those things will get in God's way. But I still hope it is soon!

Hello Stacy. Thank you so much. It has an ordeal for us, but I am glad that we finally found something that has worked. So far, so good.
I hope that this is YOUR time and the combo of met and clomid work for you. I have never been on Met but for those I know who have say it works well. It should hopefully regulate your blood sugar and help you lose any extra weight which is always a good way to increase fertility.
After I was Dx, I was also very glad to hear of other success stories and it gave me much hope. I was so determined to beat it. I still have a ways to go.
BTW, where did you see that I had PCOS? I am trying for the life of me to figure out where I might have posted this info since I do not have a proper profile in place.

thanks so much for your help i havent given it any time after about 4/5 days i stop because i just cant take it anymore. i think tomorrow im going to start it again i talked to my doc and he sugested imodium we will see.
