I am Active Duty Air Force working as a Weather Forecaster in England right now, we'll be moving to North Dakota in early 2010, should be an adventure to say the least!!
I have one daughter who is 5 1/2 and one son who is 1 1/4.
I've been married to a Security Forces individual for 6 years.
3/10- Just got back from a weekend in Paris, it was amazing, let myself have a glass of wine with dinner both nights and I had a cappucino and frappucino saturday but I'm not worried. I had loads of caffeine throughout my last pregnancy and she turned out just great! So this one will be fine as well. And as much as this one has been kicking lately I think he liked it!
I'm getting my ultrasound next week since hubby might be leaving before the other one was scheduled so I'm thrilled about that, so I should know next week!! If not I guess I'll just have to pay for a 3d one, but I'm not too concerned, baby has been kicking so don't think he's very shy! Oh yeah and I believe in power of positive thinking, hence I call him a he, while my hubby tries to make me say it, but I refuse!
03/17- Working the night shift this week, as the hubby gets ready to deploy, who thinks of this shit really! Nothing like letting a pregnant woman spend nightime with her husband when he's about to leave for 6 months, that's just crazy talk! Damn Idiots all of them!
On a plus side I have my ultrasound this week so we should hopefully be able to tell what we are having!! That makes me happy, and anxious, I really want a boy sometimes but others I'm ok with a girl, either way as long as it's healthy then it doesn't really matter too much to me in the long run.
We've already got the crib so that can be put up tomorrow so I don't have to worry about messing it up while the hubby is gone, that's what guys are for right, mowing the lawn, putting things together and making babies!! :-)
03/18- I am so hating my boss right now, I mean who seriously puts a woman on the night shift when her hubby is leaving for 6 mths that week, come on! And then has the audacity to pick apart little things that are done wrong when no information is done on how to do them, it's called taking some responsibility try it sometime! So hubby is leaving in like 26 hrs and I'll be at work for about 12 of them, sleeping for like 8 of the other ones and get to spend about 6 hrs with him, part of which he'll be putting together the crib for me so I won't have to do it later on. I feel justified in being cranky but I don't think others get it...idiots!
03/19- It's a boy!!! I'm so excited the technician said we are having a boy, 95% sure as they can never be 100% ya know but still I was so excited to hear that!! Yeah now I can finish my baby registry, woo hoo!!! This almost makes up for the fact hubby is gone now, almost...
August 24th~ Have to head back to work on tuesday and I don't want to!! Not because I can't leave my baby, that's never really bothered me too much, but because hubby is not home and this is just going to be one hell of a month before he gets home and I don't want to have to deal with it. Too bad I can't call in sick for the next month right!!!
August 27th~ Well had to be in the hospital for a few days so my milk supply has gone down so that sucks so now I gotta work on that one, and my lil man started smiling yesterday! He's getting so big aww!! But I don't have to go back to work just yet either so that's pretty decent too! But off to pump and nap, yea!
January 2009~ Have made it 6 1/2 mths breastfeeding, it's been great so far and knock on wood that it continues this way til he's a year old! My lil guy is so chunky it's great, he's up to 17 lb 11 oz right now and he's about 26 in long, a little on the stocky side but most the family is shorter so that's not really a surprise at all. Think he takes more after momma's family than dadda's right now! He's being lazy and only rolls over one way but he's working on the other a little bit. He loves his jumper and loves to stand and look around so he might not do much crawling but we'll see. Eating more solids and loving them!
Had a bit of Kroup back in December but that seems to have cleared up pretty good. He's got his 2nd tooth in and is using both of them to bite momma after he eats. Think he knows the milk will stop if he bites before that so he does it when he's done eating, kinda like he's trying to say ha ha mom what you gonna do to me now!
He is our last and I'm loving every second of him, I love having my boy and my girl, who incidently doesn't let him do much on his own, he is thoroughly spoiled that's for sure!!!
April 2009~ I'm going tdy for almost 3 weeks starting the 16th so it'll be interesting how things go at home while I'm gone. Still breastfeeding right now but we've slowly been weaning the lil guy and he does great with formula so we're looking to stop bfing when I get back, he'll be 10 mths and I think that's a really good run with bfing. I'd planned to go at least a year but this will be good for all of us I think.
September 2009~ All tdy's are behind me now, kids did pretty good with the first 2 but the last one was a killer for all of them! We found out we're moving to North Dakota at the beinning of the year, should be an adventure I think. We'll have a few weeks off before reporting to work so we'll get to see family and they'll get to meet their grandson. He's the 2nd grandson on my side of the family but the one and only grandson on the hubby's side of the family right now. Should be a blast, can't wait to be back in the states!!!
