I CAN'T WAIT TO BE A MUMMY!
*Updates Below*

'Our precious little one just over 8 weeks old - 27th Feb 08.'
Sorry the quality is pretty bad, was only able to take a pic of the photo from our old webcam. You can still see our lil' tacker though, which is the main thing! he he. xx
Hey, My name's Kylie and my partner Kristopher and I are expecting our first little baby! It is estimated to be due anytime between the 2 week period of our 20th birthdays (21st Sep -Mine & 4th Oct- Kristophers) What a date hey! All our family and friends are very supportive of us, and we are so very happy in knowing that they will be here to help us in this most wonderful, life changing event.
Being young fit and able parents is something that is extremelly important to us, and though everyone is different we have many that share our same view upon this subject. We want to be able to run around with our children, grow with them as they grow, and be able to see our great grand kids before we pass.
Some may believe we are naive, stupid or foolish for taking on such a life changing event such as this at our age, but both Kristopher and I are firm on believing that now is one of the best times so far we have come accross in life to be a perfect start in bringing our little one into the world. Money is not a problem for those of you concerned there, though it is simply none of your bussiness to dare judge.
Yes, there are people out there (some i know unfortunately) that say it will ruin our life because we're too young or for whatever reason, but what I believe is they don't take into consideration that everybody is different. I've never really fitted into the job category of a scientist or what not, nor have the push needed for a 'flash' career. But the job of a mother is rewarding, fullfilling and challenging, and something I'm definately looking forward to.
Fate has given us this little miracle, and we are so very excited and happy to have the ability to experiance and grow from the challenges that we are yet to face, as any new parent has to experience. We have our family and friends to help us and guide us, what more can you ask in life. We have so much love already for the little one growing inside of me, and I can already tell that Kristopher is going to be the best Dad ever! He loves having conversations and kisses with my belly, it's so cute!
We can't wait for the day we are finally able to meet, our little miracle! :)

Update #1
I had a doctors app. on 6th Feb which was to determine and let the doctor know that i was indeed pregnant, took a urine test and a beautiful lovely positive beamed up at him! ha ha. So yes, as far as he's concerned I am "definately pregnant" lol.
From there I was given a follow up app. for the next day (7th Feb) to have a blood test done so as to make sure everything was all good such as my HCG levels, overall health, blood type, etc. I can be a sook however and it hurt! lol. The last couple of times I've had blood tests it has hurt like anything and bruises really bad! No idea why.. lol. So now just waiting for my results which im pretty positive will be all clear :)
Update #2
Today (11th Feb) I got my results back from the doctors. Everything is all fine, my blood type is O+ which means anyone is able to have it. My HCG levels are of those 0-3 months along in their pregnancy, so yes, pregnant. He said I'm very healthy and that, apart from my sodium (salt) which was slightly down, and I should try to improve that area. Funny thing is i've actually been eating a lot of salt/salty foods lately anyway.. hmm.. lol. So i'm guessing it should up??
He also booked me with my first app. with an OB (25th Feb) which both Kris and I are really excited about. I can't wait until I get my first ultrasound and see how our little one is going :)
Apart from that, morning sickness has been pretty bad, last few days I've been able to stomach half my meal though, as well as soups and toast so at least I'm getting some nutrition into me and my little one. I've been taking vitamins also so I'm glad I've got them to help me while I get through this stage of the pregnancy, sickness can be so horrible sometimes!
But it also makes me happy in another way, because I know its just all part of the process of bringing a whole new wonderful life into the world, and I'm so very glad that I am able to have this experiance. It really is amazing and I have so far to go, I can't wait for all the good and bad things to come. I just know in the end it will all be worth it, and both my partner and I can't wait for the day that our little one is all ready to come and join us in our world :)
Update #3
Went to the doctors yesterday (20th Feb) for an app. I made, just concerning the health of our baby and that. I've been having weird cramps lately on and off and they seem to focus on one side only so I thought I'd go see the doctor just to be sure everything was safe. She ordered an ultrasound to make sure everything was fine and to also check if it is indeed twins seeing as they run in my partners side of the family.
Somehow I don't think I'll mind if it turns out to be only one little tacker in there for the first time round anyway! lol. My first ultrasound app. is on the 27th Feb at 9am. I have to drink 1 litre of water before 8am and hold it till after my ultrasound, seeing as I'm like a pee machine, that is going to be hard! lol. But I'll make sure I keep it in. Kris and I have been so anxious to see our little one and I don't want to give up that chance because I couldn't hold myself! :p So yeah, we can't wait and are so excited! I'll post pictures up here when we get them! :)
Update #4
I went to my first OB app. yesterday (25th feb), wasn't really what I expected. She just asked all the same questions my doctor did, checked my blood pressure and said, "see you when you are about 22 weeks along". I was like, "um ok.." - that's like half way through my pregnancy.. I always had the impression that once you start with your OB you stay with them throughout your pregnancy and they deal with you alot of the time for any problems or what not, but obviously that is going to be my doctors job, not that I'm complaining though, my doctor is awesome! But yes, goes to show what I knew in that area of things! :p
Kris and I are getting our first ultrasound tomorrow morning! we are SO mega exicted, I can't wait to see our little "walnut" lol. I'm 2 months along now! :D So yeah, that's about it for now, probably update again tomorrow with news on our first u/s. Until then, ciao! :) xoxox
Update #5
Well, sick as I am I had to come on here and share with you guys how remarkable and totally amazing it was to see our little tacker on screen today!!! The little heartbeat was soo cute! Yes, only one, well that they know of anyway, but like I said, I'm quite happy with one :p It was so beautiful and Kristopher and I were in awe looking up at the screen and seeing our little one just sitting there all comfy, its little beautiful heart beating away! :) :) :)
Now, before the ultrasound is a different story.. lol. that 'supposed' 1 litre i was supposed to drink, ended up majority down the toilet half an hour before my appointment. I ended up crying coz i thought I wouldn't be able to see anything anymore and that it wouldn't work, but when Kris called to tell them, they said to start sipping water again and to come anyway, it was free so even if they didn't see anything it wouldn't have cost us.
So we went, me trying to hold my water down, ended up drinking about 500 mls and holding it. Right now though, it feels in my throat worse than ever.. :s but yeah, and we told the lady after we got in the room and she's like, 'nah thats fine, you did good'. and as soon as she turned on the screen i saw our little one sitting there, it was so cute, i was thinking.. 'omg, is that mine?' lol. I just kept thinking it wasn't going to work. It really was a wake up call. ha ha. But an awesome one, Kris and I are so happy, already making copies of the photo we got printed for friends and family, even though right now it's only our lil "walnut" or jellybean. he he.
Update #6
Wow, it's been freakin ages since I've been on here and updated, I've been doing a lot of keeping track and such on my myspace a lot more regularly I must say. My profile is provate though so send a small message along with your add so i know you came from this site and not just a random add.
My url is www.myspace.com/snivelly
Okies, down to bussiness. So much has happened.. and the changes in my body! geez! lol. I feel like a bloody happy sack being thrown around! On the on side though, sickness has died down- alot! woot! lol. Sorta started to die around the start of second trimester, which I'm glad of. I still have my off days, but as far as throwing up goes I've been pretty good with handling it before it actually gets to that stage :p
I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant, and today is April 28th 08'. Since about 15 weeks I started to feel little flutters and notice them a lot more, and now at 17 weeks i can definately feel if our little one decides to kick or prod me in some way, its really light but i know exactly what it is. I find myself talking to our little one all the time, truth be told lil tacker keeps me company a lot while Kristopher is at work all week, which is cute i guess you could say :)
Belly has definately grown, I seem to be loosing weight appearance wise is my general body, noticed it in my legs actually the other day. No idea what's going on there, I eat whenever I'm hungry and don't stop till I'm full, so yeah.
Got a doctors appointment tomorrow for a check up and that, hopefully all goes well. For some reason I think i might be in for another blood test though, just from what I've been reading up. eek! lol. Spose its all to make sure our little one is safe, which is what we want the most.
On May 26th I have an ultrasound appointment at 2:30pm here in Whyalla and along with Kristopher, my mum and my bro; we are going to see our little one again which by that time aint gunna be quite as little! lol. But also find out the sex if our lil bub is ready to show off the goods! :p I'll be 21 weeks along and Kris and I can't wait! the countdowns on! lol.
Update #7
Hello again.. :p well the belly has definately protruded somewhat in the last week or so, my clothes r starting to get just that squeezier now! lol. oh well, shopping! :D but yeah, umm since about 15 1/2 wks i started feeling light flutters every now and then. Last week definately stepped up a notch with them and now as im in week 18, last night in particular, our little bub decided to have a full on karate match with my insides for about 3 hours, god i thought it was so cute at first, but then trying to eat tea and have this little one biffing up my insides is deinfately a weird feeling indeed! i was just like "cmon babe, give it a rest for a minute!' lol. but it was definately amazing. :)
Kris even felt it last night on the big bumps as our little one bustled about in there. His eyes sparkled and he got this huge grin on his face, he looked so proud and amazed! :) For some reason it seemed to love my bbq chips! ha ha. i thought little bub had settled down as Kristopher and i went to bed, but no, as soon as i layed down i could feel it start kicking around again, not as much though so i sorta just tried to ignore it and went to sleep. :p Gosh i can hardly imagine what its going to be like when im like a whale an having to feel that! ha ha. my poor belly! lol. Our little bub definately has a lot of energy, i can tell you that! :D
