I've got today the FISH results (it is express diagnostic, and they check chromosomes 21,13 and 18 and the sex chromosomes). So far so good. Now I just have to pray that they do not find anything else and that the amnio does not bring any complications.
This FISH diagnostic costs extra money and probably won;t be covered by the insurance, but I am glad we opted for it.
When is your amnio?

My chiropractor gave me a homeopathic remedy called Nausea/Vomiting by Energique. You just need to find somewhere to get Homeopathic remedies and ask for their Nausea remedy. It has worked amazingly well for me, and this is my 3rd pregnancy where I was throwing up and nauseated all the time.

So I had the amnio today. It is not as bad as it looks. It is like a blood test. At least you should not be afraid of the procedure itself. Waiting for the results is hard. Good luck!

Sofia, thanks for your encouragement! So sweet of you to want to light a candle for my daughter. I am really touched. Also thanks for your prayers. It all means a lot to me!

Don't know yet if we have had success this month. If I do get my AF there is a big chance I will get it on the same day as my daughters due date. So two tough things at once. Somehow I will get through it though.

Sofia, so sorry you haven't hear from me in a while. How are you doing? Are you starting to feel less anxious? I really hope and pray so.

I am doing okay, thanks. I do feel emotional at times. My due date was August 20th so it is not too far away. It is hard not to imagine what things could have been like. But I know I will get through it. God is my helper and my comforter.

Thanks for the baby dust. I do hope it will happen soon.

My doctors have not talked to me about an amnio yet. I don't know if they are or not.....I don't know what I would decide if they did! But I see the perinatal doc in a week and a half so maybe the subject will be brought up then. I hope everything goes well with you and your test. Please let me know how it went!
