Sunday, 10 August You do have quick labors! With my 1st, I started having contractions around 5pm at night and had them all through the night until 5am in the morning when they were 5 min apart and we went to the hospital. I still didn't have her until 5pm in the evening. With my son, it was a little bit quicker (about 12 hours total) but ended in a c-sec anyhow.. I was able to get epidurals with both and although it was wonderful, I think it actually slowed down the birth quite a bit. Both of my epidurals were so strong, I couldn't feel any contractions and I NEVER had the urge to push. We were watching the contractions on the monitor and when it spiked I would have to push..which is hard to do when you don't feel anything...wow sorry for the novel..anyhow..we are also going to TRY not to find out..but when you are at that ultrasound and they ask, it's soo hard not to find out. I hope you have a girl then..any names picked out? skyblue882 -
Saturday, 9 August You poor thing! If I had a labor like that, I don't think I'd ever have another one. I can't even imagine not having the epidural. When I was sreaming like a maniac for the epidural (with my 2nd)I was only dialated to a 4...I guess I don't have a very high pain tolearance.
Maybe this will be your nice and smooth delivery. It would be great if it was pain free too ;) It sounds like you deserve it!
Are you planning on finding out what you are having? We both are lucky to have a boy and a girl..I would be happy with either but I have a strong feeling (with lots of dreams) that I will have another boy. skyblue882 -
Friday, 8 August Wow I can't imagine my baby in the NICU for 65 days. That must have been so hard. But now you have 2 healthy beautiful children and it is all worth it. I'm not sure I could do the injections either...I have the opposite problem w/ my blood - thrombocytopenia (spelling is wrong) but basically the longer I am pregnant, the lower my platelets get. So it doesn't pose a problem to the babies but I have a higher risk of bleeding. During my labor w/ my son, my platelet count dropped so high that they refused to give me an epidural. After much screaming and begging on my part and agreeing to sign a waiver, they finally gave me one..but very scary. Well good luck and I hope that baby stays in for the duration for you!! skyblue882 -
Thursday, 7 August Wow I just looked at your pictures and your kids are absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful family you have! I can't believe they all came so early..how did you handle that? Did they have you on bed rest or anything? My daughter was 2 weeks early and my son was 1 day late..No early babies for me...

Thursday, 7 August Hi Sonya -
I too am nervous about adding a new baby to my already full house. My daughter just turned 3, my son is 6 months and I am expecting again! I work full-time now but think that I will end up staying home with them once this baby comes. Good luck to you and keep me posted!! Tara0809 -
Wednesday, 6 August I am a little nervous but I am trying not to let it get the best of me. Like you I have some issues with pregnancy I have a condition called SPD that I developed during my first pregnancy. It is a condition where your pelvis splits making it hard to move or walk. So I am nervous for the later half of the pregnancy to be up and down the stairs in our home and caring for a toddler but it will be well worth it in the end. I t is nice to know others are going through the same thing. Kateohm is prego again too and we were prego at the same time with our last pregnancies and so it will be nice to have that supoort again. I wish you the best of luck with your new pregnancy and if you ever need to talk I am here lisalulu -

This photo is precious! What a cute family you have! Congratulation on your pregnancy! Funny there is a big group of mommies-to-be with 6 to 7 month old babies right now. I have been a member here since I was 8 weeks preggo w/ my son just last year. Now here we are back for round two! Should be exciting : ) llivory79 -

Friday, 25 July Thanks for saying your 3yr old doesn't remember any of the hospital stuff. I keep telling myself that Ty won't remember any of the NICU time, the tests and all the other things he's been through. I'm happy to go through any of it so long as he doesn't remember it. shortncrazy2 -
Wednesday, 23 July I like it alot there. Their were plenty of things to do. the pool was smaller then we thought it would be, but it was nice to get into to cool off.. it's pretty flat there so I did alot of walking with Izzy. We walked longer then we usually do since it it wasn't all hilly.
I know my in-laws like to take some of the grandkids here- http://www.koa.com/where/pa/38179/ if that is any closer to you. I know for me- I looked around on the internet until I found something that seemed right for our group that was going. Best of luck!
