In Just a Few Short Days...

Carter will be three months old. I can't believe how incredibly fast time is going. I feel like I am living in a blur...like I am not able to capture or even remember all the little milestones. I don't regret for one second having another baby; I just wish time could stand still for a moment so I could take a breath and truly appreciate all my little miracles.

A Family of Five

Carter will be 10 weeks tomorrow; time has flown by quickly. He has fit in so well with our family. We are now five including my husband and myself. I was really worried how difficult it would be going from 2 to 3 kids. So far, it hasn't been bad at all. His big sister and brother are loving him to pieces. I have to peel them away sometimes. The only thing we really have had any difficulty with is trying to find a car that seats three kids in carseats. I think we are going to stop at three kids, so I am holding Carter closer, kissing him as often as I can, and trying to remember everything little babies do because I won't experience any of these "firsts" again. Sniff. Sniff.

Update on Carter

Well, I am 33 weeks today! I have been on this site almost everyday for the last couple of months. I love reading everyone's comments and experiences...they totally make you feel like you are not alone. This is the perfect venue to complain and express your feelings about pregnancy without witnessing the eye-rolls from friends and family.

I am a mommy to two beautiful little ones. I am married to my high school sweetheart...we have been together for almost 17 years - married for nearly nine years. He is an amazing daddy and extremely wonderful husband and partner.

We are expecting our third baby and couldn't be more excited. I can't wait for him to be born and hold that sweet, soft, little body in my arms.

I did call the doctor and he is going to switch my pill. Thanks for you concern.

Thanks, I am going to try giving it to her before she fusses for it. I started the bottle at 2 weeks and she took it just fine. Its just the last few weeks that she refuses it. Also I had read somewhere tap water wasnt safe because of the amount of lead it can contain from the pipes. But now that I think about it newer homes dont have lead pipes anymore, so I guess I wont worry about it. Thanks for your help!

Thanks, I was just throwing a hissy fit lol. I asked for suggestions about what to do when your baby refuses a bottle. She used to take one when needed, but now all she wants is the breast!

BeauandBrody - Thursday, 18 September
When it is your first...you don't know any different. I can't imagine having to take care of older children as well as a baby.

BeauandBrody - Thursday, 18 September
I feel your pain....my twin boys are closer to 4 months old and have yet to sleep through the night and I'm working too. I'm exhausted and feel sick a lot because of lack of sleep too.. I just keep thinking that it will get better soon:) Stay positive.

queen-ri - Wednesday, 17 September
thx for that! I am totally open to anything that does not involve surgery and I totally believe that everything in body relates to each other so that is def worth a try! I will look into it if this neti thing doesn't work

raebabe - Wednesday, 17 September
Thanks! I can't believe how upset I am getting. There are much more important things to worry about instead of my stupid stomach! I noticed it got a lot worse when I went back to work. I now have to wear "work clothes" and see people all day....not my baby. When I was at home I was with her all day and I didn't even have time to think about my dumb stomach or even really give a shit! I guess this is just motivation to get going on something. But in a way I don't want to because I am still nursing! My friend (not the one I was talking about) hit it on the head...she said, "my body belongs to my baby right now". She's a skinny bitch though too :) I will try to keep my head up and give it some more time... Have a great night!

VERY RARLEY DO I EAT BREAKFAST ITS USALLY A POT OF COFFE OR STARBUCKS BUT MY STARTBICKS HAS 280 CALORIES. SOMETIMES I EAT A BANANA WITH MY COFFE OR SOMETIMES I WILL EAT SCRAMBLED EGGS. MOST OF THE TIME I DONT EAT ALL DAY AND WHEN I EAT DINNER ITS ALWAYS A LEAN CUSINE OR A SALD WITH FAT FREE DRESSING AND 2 PICES OF FISH (THAT HAS 260 CALORIES) I NEED TO START WORKING OUT:{

Yeah, it sounds like a scam to me. I went on their site and found the "Most Beautiful Babies" that have been submitted so far. Some are not so beautiful. lol

dancinmama - Monday, 15 September
See, there you go, you CAN be allergic to anything! I guess we will be waiting until she is 4 months old to feed her the cereal. It should fly by, though, with the other two in school, me working, family visiting from out of town, etc. :)

Angelof08 - Friday, 12 September
Yeah I think I need to just stop doubting myself and continue to follow my natural instincts. Kaleb's growth is wonderful he's not too small not to big and he sleeps good at night (most the time). If I'm up once or twice (ok and sometimes 3 times) at night I guess that's not to to bad. If the little guy wants to eat 4oz of milk every 2 hours so be it. I figure when he's ready to eat more I'll know it. At his 2 month check up our Doctor said he could have some cereal with his milk at night. So now he'll eat a tablespoon with 2oz of milk before bed and on top of that I give him his regular 4 oz of milk of which he usually only drinks another 1-2oz but he sleeping pretty good. Thanks for the reply - your babies are beautiful!

IT HURTS! I try to pump, but nothing much comes out. Should I just keep pumping and nursing? I think it is huge. At least it is the bottom half of my breast I think. MAN!

phonics - Friday, 5 September
How big was the clogged duct?

preciousangels2 - Friday, 5 September
Aww, my first was pretty much on a schedule the day he was born. But he did have fussy times everyday. Cayden on the otherhand, doesn't really have a schedule but he is NEVER fussy. Such a pleasant baby. Who knows. We were very busy the past couple months so now that things have calmed down a bit maybe he can work a schedule out on his own.... If I come up with any ideas, I'll let you know!

SunshineBaby1 - Wednesday, 3 September
Thank you! I can't believe how fast he's growing! I just read your profile... it must be so hard having 3 kids and trying to hold on and remember what it's like when they're babies. Time goes soooo quickly and you have to be incredibly busy!!!

rubymom - Tuesday, 2 September
thanks for the tips on interviewing child care providers!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. My friend had it but hers went away soon after having her baby. It was just my left wrist but after I had Edyn my right one started too. It's so bad in the morning and when I get up for night feedings. I have learned not to rely on them but more on my forearm so I don't drop the baby. It is so painful, I read it can go away or it can be permanent and I'm hoping mine will go away . . . soon. LOL Good luck with your pains!

Rachel918 - Thursday, 28 August
Thanks for being there and letting me vent that means a lot!!! Its nice to know some people understand me and dont judge on here. Hopefully something soon happens and we can forget that we ever had a money problem. It was def nice spending the day with bryan and just being together.. Of course i have the worst headache right now, problem from lack of sleep, stress and allergies.. But on a happy not my hubby got a second job tonight, its only on call but its good money and they are really nice so now he doesnt want me to get a fulltime job, just something part time or even if that online company hires me:) I guess the most importnant thing is just being a great mom and wife.
