Had my first ultrasound on Monday. Saw the baby `s heart beat. Baby measured 20mm or 2cm already. A couple of days ahead of my due date. Everything looks good so far. I go back the 18th for my second ultrasound. Keep us in your prayers. Thanks.

I didn't get another ultrasound because we heard the baby's heartbeat via doppler. It was 150 and so amazing. It's going to be a LONG 4 weeks....

My doctor's appointment went well. I saw the midwife, whom I love dearly and she snuck us is for an ultrasound. There's actually a baby in there now, a very active one at that. We tried to see the sex but the umbilical cord kept getting in the way, and it's early. So we will find out May 13th. (hopefully) I can't wait! Have been listening to the heartbeat via my home doppler. It was money well spent and I'm not obsessed with it like some people said I would be. Now just waiting to feel the baby.

It's a little girl. Wow, I am still in shock. And we were all so convinced it was a little boy. Everything looked great on the ultrasound. (thank god) She weighs 9 oz. And I have gained a whole 7lbs. Finally started to feel some movement in there.

Monday, 9 June

Another doctor's appointment today... heard the heartbeat, rate was 140. Uterus is measuring exactly where it's supposed to be. My total weight gain so far is 9 lbs. Will be doing the dreaded glucola screening test next appt. Thankful that all is well.
