yesss, i finally had him!! we're both alright, he had to stay in the hospital for 6 days because he had an infection. some infection they test the mothers for around 35 weeks? but he had that, so they kept him on antibiotics or however you spell it, and wanted to do a spinal tap, they tried it twice, but never got the liquid they needed, they couldn't get in the place in the back that they needed to, so they decided he'd probably be fine. i had a c-section because when i got to the hospital i was 1 1/2 cm and he wasn't responding well to my contractions, his heart rate was above normal so they wanted him out asap. so yupp, had a c-section, was scared out of my mind for my son, but he's fine now. and yes, i was freaking out while on the operating table, not being able to feel my legs or let alone anything was freaking me out. i was shaking so much, and i had a full stomach so the medicine they gave me made me keep throwing up, it was horrible.

Hope you are all well, 12 days over now and SO fed up!
Can't wait to have a glass or two of champagne, pate on toast and goats cheese tart!
