Husband & I were High School sweethearts and started dating in August of 1984. He had just finished his first year of college and I just finished my Sophomore year in high school. We dated until Spring of 1990. We always kept in touch over the years (lunch, movies, drinks, etc...) and started exclusively dating again in November of 2003. He proposed while we were vacationing at the family condo in Florida in September of 2004. We were married in October of 2005 and spent our honeymoon in the Bahamas (for 10 days) and Philadelphia (for 4 days). We bought our house and moved out of the condo in November of 2005. We had to paint, rip out old (shag) carpets and clean every nook and cranny so we decided I would stay on the pill until that was all done. I finally came of birth control pills in December of 2005 after being on them for 20+ years (due to irregular cycles) and we have been trying since January of 2006. Started fertility testing in January of 2007. Everything with both of us came back good. We fall into the percentile of "unexplained" infertility.

From this cycle forward, we are not using OPK's or any other type of fertility assisting devices. Whatever happens, happens. When God is ready, He will bless us with the miracle of a child. I am now leaving it in His hands and will pray everyday to Him and St. Gerard that my husband and I can experience the joys of pregnancy and child birth. I want to thank everyone for taking this long 37 month journey with me and pray that we all get what it is we want so badly. God bless all of you and good luck on your journey to motherhood. good morning ladies..today is the day that find out the sex..lol..i got up this morning at 4 and had to go the bathroom and thought that my bladder was going to bust..But went back to bed and that didnt last that long because the kids where in are bed..so we are getting the kids ready for school and taking the girls to my husband grandparents..appt is at 830..im starting to fill my bladder up..what fun...have a good day!!!

good morning ladies..havent been on that much ...husband went deer hunting which i cant stand it..But in 2 more days we get to find the sex of the baby..well i have to wait for christmas..Oh i got the H1N1 shot with no mercury in it..my arm isnt sore at all..I talked to 3 different Docs about the shot..But everything is going good...well have a good day!!!

I have a question for you guys. My cousin just told me she is 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant, due on July 27, 2010. Her HCG Blood results were 112, the blood test was taken even before she missed her period, her docs said it was low, and today she will find out what her 2nd test numbers came out as. Her doc told her it should have been anywhere between 5 to 456. Does 112 sound low to you guys even if it was taken before she even was due for her AF? Thanks, Dana

Hi ladies I have a question about breast feeding when i feed my baby boy he feeds very well but it seems he always wants to suck on my boob i am wondering is he not getting a lot to eat I am worried that I am starving him and I feel so bad :(

Hi, I am often on the advanced age pregnancy page and you asked the question about conceiving naturally. I am aged 41and about 4/5 years ago I suffered an "unplanned" ectopic pregnancy and lost my left fallopian tube. I felt that with my age and the loss of a tube that concieving naturally was going to be near impossible. Anyway after my boyfriend and I were actively trying for about 8 months, (I am very impatient) I decided that it was not going to happen. We were due to move house in the middle of May this year and so my partner said that once the move was out of the way we would look into alternatives to help concieve. So we moved house on 15th May, my A/F never arrived just after the move and I waited a week until I tested. I was sure in my heart that I was pregnant but partner felt it was the stress of house move that had delayed A/F and worried that I had got my hopes up. So we tested and it was positive. I believe that when I stopped putting so much pressure on myself it just happened for me. Of course I then worried for a while that I had done so much heavy lifting and carrying for 3 days with the house move, that I had messed things up. Anyway, all went well and I am now in week 29 of my pregnancy! So miracles do happen and you have to believe that!

Just wanted to let you ladies know, that I had my little girl on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Isabella Eve was born at 7:38am and was 7 lbs, and 14 oz. and 21 1/2 in. long :) We are doing good, I will post her pictures!

Ladies thank you all for your comments, info and reassurance about the heart palpitations. I had no idea how common it is during pregnancy. It is nice to know I am not alone and my heart isn't going to jump out of my chest! It sure feels like it at times. I will be sure to take my iron as many of you said this is a sign of being low on iron, which I was at my last apt. I will also mention it to the doctor at my next visit but feel so much better knowing it is pretty common and will go away soon! Again....thank you!
