Husband & I were High School sweethearts and started dating in August of 1984. He had just finished his first year of college and I just finished my Sophomore year in high school. We dated until Spring of 1990. We always kept in touch over the years (lunch, movies, drinks, etc...) and started exclusively dating again in November of 2003. He proposed while we were vacationing at the family condo in Florida in September of 2004. We were married in October of 2005 and spent our honeymoon in the Bahamas (for 10 days) and Philadelphia (for 4 days). We bought our house and moved out of the condo in November of 2005. We had to paint, rip out old (shag) carpets and clean every nook and cranny so we decided I would stay on the pill until that was all done. I finally came of birth control pills in December of 2005 after being on them for 20+ years (due to irregular cycles) and we have been trying since January of 2006. Started fertility testing in January of 2007. Everything with both of us came back good. We fall into the percentile of "unexplained" infertility.

From this cycle forward, we are not using OPK's or any other type of fertility assisting devices. Whatever happens, happens. When God is ready, He will bless us with the miracle of a child. I am now leaving it in His hands and will pray everyday to Him and St. Gerard that my husband and I can experience the joys of pregnancy and child birth. I want to thank everyone for taking this long 37 month journey with me and pray that we all get what it is we want so badly. God bless all of you and good luck on your journey to motherhood.
