So here is a bit about me... I am currently 22 years old. I got married August 18th 2007. I had my daughter Avah on Feb 23, 2009. I am now pregnant with my due date being Feb 10th.

Avah's developments:

Feb 23/09
Avah is Born (9:08am)!!! She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 21 inches long. She had stopped breathing 18 times in 5 hours so she was transfered to another hospital that had better equipment and testing. They pumped her stomach and did and EKG on her heart. They got 20 cc's of meconium out of her lungs/stomach and the EKG showed that there was a valve that is supposed to close at birth hadn't fully closed yet. Once her stomach had been pumped she did not have another "episode".

Feb 25

She got to come home from the hospital! We still don't know 100% what was wrong. But the
important thing is that she is breathing fine now! She had her first car ride today!

March 3
(1 week 1 day)
Took her to the health unit for a 1 week baby checkup. She already weighs 8 lbs 6oz! WOW

March 5
(10 days)
First time having tummy time! She didn't freak out! I got to take some cute pictures

March 18
(3 weeks 2 days)
Avah is weighing in at a whopping 10 pounds 4 ounces!!!!! what a chunker lol

March 20
(3 weeks 4 days)
First sleepover! My mom took her for the night to give Gary and I some alone time. I missed her soo much! I feel less rested then when she was here!

March 23-28
(1 month)
Her first cold

5 1/2 weeks
Avah smiles now and its not just gas!

April 12
(6 weeks 6 days)
Avah laughed for her first time! it was so funny! she had milk on her chin so i was wiping it away and she smiled and spit more milk out. so i wiped her again and talked to her asking what she was doing and she smiled huge and laughed and pushed more milk out with her tongue.

April 14
(7 weeks 2 days)
She slept from 10-5am!!!!!!!

2.5 months
Avah belly laughs

3 months
her feet are ticklish and that makes her laugh!
she can almost roll now, she gets her legs over but not her shoulder lol

May 27th
First plane ride to visit family in Winnipeg! she was really good the entire trip!

4 months
Avah rolled for the first time!!! She weighs 18 pounds now!

5 months
Says "dada" constantly

5 months 3 weeks
(August 13th)
Avah pushes herself backwards while on her tummy

6 months
Gary walks in the door from work and Avah looks at him, smiles then says "dada"! She said mama!!
it was when she was tired and then again when she was hungry. so she calls me only when she wants something LOL!

6 1/2 months
(Sept 8)
Avah rolled from her tummy to her back finally!

(Sept 10)
Avah can clap her hands together. she thinks it is funny it makes a sound! She can push herself backwards a bit while on her tummy

(Sept 16)
Avah's first tooth broke through! her bottom right one! She can also click her tongue!

(Sept 19)
Tooth #2 appeared! now she is getting her 2 bottom teeth! she has been on her knees rocking a lot and can push herself backwards 3-4 feet.

7 months
20 pounds 6 ounces and 27 1/2 inches long!

Avah sits up after being on her belly now! getting so big :-(

Avah crawls! she started out just going forward a few inches this morning but now that she has
been practising all morning she can get across the room- slowly, but she gets there!

8 months
Avah pulls herself up!! and she waves to people she knows- when she wants to

(Nov 1)
Avah's first goose egg... she fell off ABC blocks while getting pics done with her friend.
She freaked but was calmed easily once i gave her a bottle
