6/24/08.....
Early this morning around 3 I woke up having a contraction. I automatically looked at the clock and began to time them. They were about 10 mins apart for almost FIVE HOURS. Then they calmed down and I could finally fall back asleep for a couple hours. And when I woke up at 3am I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a string of blood in the discharge. It was really light. But then the next time I went it was there again...and I've had it a few times since but I thought this could be the bloody show? Been cleaning today but I'm not real sure that it's nesting...there is a lot I want to get done because I am going to be induced tomorrow morning so it's prob nothing. I just have a feeling that when I go in tomorrow morning I may be in labor already. Good luck to you all still waiting xoxo

6/23/08.....
I had a dr appt today. The heartbeat was good, but I told her I wasn't feeling much movement. She checked internally and I was a tight 2 cm and 85% effaced. Last week I was a tight 1 cm and 50% effaced, so these contractions in the middle of the night have been doing a little something I guess?! Well she said that I could be induced this week on Wednesday. So I am set up to have this baby this week! But I am really hoping I go naturally before then, I didn't want to be induced. But it's so surreal that I'll be a mom in a couple days! I have been having some contractions today though, so maybe tonight I will go into labor. Yeah fingers crossed...but I've been saying that for days! Well, I'm going to be VERY VERY nervous come tomorrow night! I'm so glad I have comments on here to read and people to talk to. I really would have gone insane if I didn't have other women to talk to and read comments about going through the same thing. Good luck to all of you still waiting, I have a total new appreciation for moms now that I just would have never had (because I didn't know anything). It's so tough and moms deserve a lot of credit!

6/21/08.....
Still very pregnant. Due date is tomorrow. This pregnancy has not been easy by any means. I haven't been in contact with the father (but we don't get along anyway...so I'm glad to not have to speak to him) But it really is hard doing it all alone. I live by myself and just sit around all the time with no one to talk to. It's getting to be so hard on me! I want to be by myself, but then again I want someone to be here with me. I had contractions waking me up this morning at about 330 am and they were about 8-12 mins apart til almost 7 am ...but then they became irregular. So I took a bath and laid down and fell back asleep. I thought it was it :( I'm way too anxious and very depressed, just want the pregnancy to be over, and start the next part of my life already!

6/17/08.....
I lost my MP today! Maybe not all of it, but it was def a lot of it..if not all, I'm positive! And just had my membrane sweep yesterday...so something is happening I think!? I know it can be weeks or days before labor after you lose your MP..But I'm already in week 39 so know that it can't be TOO far away. No contractions yet though I don't think. Just gonna keep my walking going. I don't really know that the full moon is really going to be all that helpful, but I'm letting it keep my spirits up

6/16/08.....
TODAY I had a doctor appointment. She checked my measurements and I am currently 39 weeks and 1 day. I was measuring 37 and 1/2 weeks. But that could be because the baby has dropped. Anyway...checked the heartbeat and was about 137-139. The lowest it's ever been. Baby must be pretty comfy. Then she did an internal exam to see if I was making progress. I was 1 cm dialated and 50 % effaced. So a little progress since last time I think...because last time she didn't say anything about me being effaced. Well then she offered to sweep my membranes. ( It's something like they disconnect something from the womb around the cervix..something..I don't know) so I said yeah. Was quite the uncomfortable experience. Kinda made me wince in pain and get all sweaty. So she did that and said that a lot of times you'll go into labor within 48 hours after having your membranes swept. I walk everyday, but wanted to make sure I got a good walk in after getting the sweep done to get things rolling (hopefully). My feet are so swollen I had to wear flip flops because my tennies don't fit. Well I haven't really had any signs since I've been home except been having back pains that I don't ever remember experiencing before... Maybe it's the slight start of something!? Going to try and get some sleep and hope tomorrow brings better news. I'd love to be holding my baby in just 2 days!

5/30/08.....
Had a dr appt yesterday and had the rectal and vag strep swabs. Not painful really, just uncomfortable. Baby was measuring at 35 weeks, and I am not at all dialated or anything. She said I still have awhile to go because NOTHING is going on down there.... GRRRRR, I just know I'm going to probably go way past my due date. My mom went 12 days after with me, but I'm still hoping I won't! Also, I'm thinking Timber, I love the name. And Nicole possibly for a middle name. That's also my middle name; so Tiffanie Nicole and Timber Nicole.. It's so hard to decide for certain!

5/29/08.....
IT'S A GIRL! She's measuring 6 lbs, 3 oz...plus or minus a pound. Finally with three and a half weeks left I now know!
