Hi all ! This site is great , like myspace for preggers lol. Anyways I am working on my third baby here. I have a 14 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. My husband and I will have had a child (together believe it or not) in our teens , 20's and now 30's. It's round three and we are so looking forward to it.

Monday, 10 Dec

so I am still stumped for baby girl names that flow well with Skylar and Dylan......suggestions.....
also what do you guys think of Stella , Cheyann , or Ashlyn?

Friday , Jan. 4th

So I feel as if I'm in the full swing of pregnancy now. The heartburn is here , the swollen ankles , and all that weight gain. However my favorite part is here too.....feeling my little girl move around all over the place ! She seems to be shy though. She'll be rockin' and rollin' in there and as soon as I have my hubby or daughter try to feel...she stops ! Everytime ! She is so active and nobody but me seems to be experiencing it. Thats kind of frustrating. I have been feeling so overwhelmed lately because I won't be having my shower until Feb 10th and we have nothing for my little one. Not one thing. We haven't even started on the nursery yet. Luckily for me my daughter moved out of her old room and we redid a new more grown up room for her so the nursery is already painted pink and green. If I can find coordinating bedding she'll only need closet organizers put in , things on the wall , curtains , a changinf table , and crib as she will be using my daughters old furniture (dressar etc.) Still , I feel an urgency to get started. I'm going to register for the shower this weekend and am really looking forward to doing something "baby". Sometimes I just feel fat and not pregnant because the baby really hasn't been the focus here lately with so much other stuff going on. Guess thats just how it goes when your hubby has a new position/title at work , you have a teenager , and an overly social daughter as well as the college class I was taking and I do housecalls ( I'm a hairstylist) on the side. Anyways , I'm really starting to get excited for my new baby girl to arrive. I have dr app on the 10th and will be going every 2 weeks after that. I'm measuring right on target for my due date and have had 2 unltrasounds that both put me at March 14th. I'm going to be a crazy person and go with my daughter and her Girlscout troop to her 1st weekend camp in Malibu next weekend. It will be so tiring but a special memory for the 2 of us before baby. I've been batteling a cold that has left me even more tired than usual but that will pass. Unfortunately it's just a little more misery/discomfort to deal with. I'm not one of those people who loves being pregnant. I pretty much hate everything about it EXCEPT feeling her move and knowing that I am growing a beautiful child in there ....thats pretty amazing. Well , I felt the need to blog today so there it is. Happy Pregnancies to all..lol

Hubby's name picks :

Carly Rae

Cheyanne (maybe Elizabeth ? What goes w/ this one?)

Let me know what you guys think............

my prego brain just can't nail down a name. It was sooo much easier with the other 2.

So I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow and I can't believe how fast it's going by. Things have been moving along well lately. My husband bought me a glider without me even asking for it or seeing it first. It was so nice to see him take some interest on his own. We have stepped up "date night" knowing time is running out and he's been shopping online for the nursery furniture , which we finally ordered last week. I hope to get it this weekend. We went to Babies R Us together and he helped pick out a stroller and a mattress. I have been so happy about his interest level. Now that it's getting close he's really getting excited and int o it. My son who is 14 had a great experience wit the baby the other day as well. She was moving a lot so I had him touch my belly and she kicked. He thought it was crazy so I said do it again. She wasn't moving so he leaned in and sain "Baby" in a deep voice and she kicked his hand , so then he put both hands on my belly and said "baby, baby move.." and she jumped all around in there making my whole tummy bounce. He was so pleased with himself and said that the baby likes him ! I am so happy that my family is finally feeling her move ! It took forever. She would always go still before. Now when she hears their voices she moves all around. It's like she wants to play ! I was hugging my daughter this morning and she felt the baby kick on her tummy because we were pressed up close like that. She thought that was funny. This is the part of preganacy I enjoy most. When the belly is big and everyone can feel the baby moving ! I have been suffering way more aches and pains that my previous pregnancies which is a bummer but hey , at least I'm not throwing up like I did with those ! I get the numb hip , it hurts to roll over in bed , the round ligament pain , I had the pain under my right rib that prompted a dr visit and now the pain on my side/flank that prompted another dr visit , the heartburn , swollen hands, feet, ankles etc. (heck it's all swollen) and on top of that I fell pretty hard recently. Luckily all is well though and all in all I'm so much happier pregnant at this stage that I have been the whole rest of the time. I can't wait for the baby shower and to start decorating and putting away baby stuff. Now if only I weren't so tired.........................

Ashlyn

Carly

Shyann

Lily

These are the top contenders. Still welcoming input and comments on these names.......yes STILL undecided.

Well she is here...........

baby Ashlyn Rayne

born 3-14-08 8lbs 9oz 21 inches

She is a sweet baby. Not too fussy , very alert , smiling, loves being held........we are over the moon with her. Her big sister is a huge help and has so much love and patience with her , she has Dads heart and big brothers as well. Life was a pretty big adjustment the first 3 weeks but now we are pretty much settled in and enjoying every minute of it. Definately starting over for us but knowing she will be the last baby makes it a very special time. She loves being in her Bjorn carrier and we take walks every morning in it. She hates baths still though. Nights are for the most part pretty good , she eats and falls right back asleep. Its amazing to see my pregnant photos and now a pic of her and know thats who was in there all that time!

lol, about your comment on snapping at your husband. We were in FL w/ my family over xmas and i have a 16 year old sister who is beautiful and absolutely perfect that i love to death, but when we were in the pool i felt like my husband was flirting with her and then later at night i was snapping at him and they both kinda rolled their eyes, so that night i snapped at my husband and told him he was out of line, he looked at me like i had 3 heads, lol...i guess thats just us missing our sexy bods :P although, we probably look pretty darn hot pregnant too! After the baby is born we'll hopefully go back to a more emotionally sane version of ourselves, lol.

Congrats. I like Ashlyn out of the three names. Girl names are so much easier to pick. I'm having problems with boys names. Any suggestions?

Hii... the Amby bed is meant for sleep up until about 3-4 months, at which time they outgrow it. I sure hope my baby likes it!

PRETTIEST MOM
Once you have been hit, you have to hit 5 pretty Moms.
If you get hit again, You will know you are REALLY pretty!
So hit 15 pretty moms on your friends list to let them know they are
pretty!
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
Send this to someone who you think is a special Mom.''

tiamarie22 - Thursday, 20 Dec
I've always loved the names Isabella and Ryleigh Jadeyn. Im having a hard time deciding on a boy name and everyone won't stop asking!! Im hoping it will just come to me one day. Well congrats on your little one!

jude - Wednesday, 19 Dec
Hi, I got your message. They told me last week and it was from taking a measurment from the top of my bump to the pubic bone. I think that you should measure 1cm for every week you are. I was 28 and I was measuring 3cm bigger than that. My dates are still correct it's just that this baby is going to be bigger. I have to have a c-section because my daughter was so big so it doesn't really affect me this time! Hope this helps x

FirstTimeMom93 - Wednesday, 19 Dec
My 4d went really good... during the 4d part it was hard to tell it was a boy but as soon as they switched it back to 2d it was clear she was a he lol

babyeddiesmom - Monday, 17 Dec

IT IS BUT..... WHAT THEY FORGOT TO MENTION the minor issue of temporay insanity. LOL I love being pregnent Im going to do it again right after my son is born!!!

yogamommy - Saturday, 15 Dec
Hi There - Yes, I sleep in a comfortable sports bra at night - it seems to help alot! Also, I bought a good bra at Norstroms that I love. It's really ugly, but it a reducer & I look much smaller in clothes which is nice for now since my belly hasn't really popped yet and I'm all boobs & butt right now! Ahhh! I know what you mean about losing size after baby. I went from a 34B prepregnancy to a 36DD while breastfeeding then down to a 34A- afterwards so for me at the age of 27 it was a 'no-brainer'. I didn't want to look like a 90 year old woman naked! Good luck to you and congrats once again on the new addition!

butterblocksmom - Saturday, 15 Dec
Look at you! 60 with the first two? That's amazing - you look great. OK so there is hope for me! I love the fact that you had (are having) 3 babies over 3 decades - that's wild!!!

KaylaEEssex - Saturday, 15 Dec
I like Tayler.. my son is Tyler.. and I like Saniah, Naomi, Kiah, im stuck too... :(

KaylaEEssex - Saturday, 15 Dec
Yeah.. see mine was supposed to have been on the 7th.. but I didnt have it until the 16th.. but they think it was implantation bleeding.. but they are not sure...
but my due date is the march 14th...

yogamommy - Friday, 14 Dec
I saw your post regarding implants. I have them too - got them after my second pregnancy when I was 27. I had my daughter when I was 30 and am now pregnant again with my 4th! This is my second pregnancy with the implants. I did fine with my daugther or shoud I say, 'they' did. The big problem with them is that I still go up at least two cup sizes and they are uncomfortably BIG. But, I was still able to breastfeed with my third, in fact I nursed her for 15 months and plan on nursing this one. The engorgement was a little worse, but overall it was a pleasant experience. I plan on having to go back in for some 'work' after I'm done nursing this baby since I notice that they are beginning to sag a bit I guess due to the changes in breast tissue with the pregnancies. But, the reason I had to get them in the first place is b/c I nursed my first two children each for a year and after that I was not even fitting into an A cup... Anyway- good luck to you and your baby!

KaylaEEssex - Thursday, 13 Dec
When was your lmp? I am having a girl too.. same due date...

Hey, I read your message on the main board. I have been feeling the exact same way. There was about a four week period where i started thinking 'hey this isn't so bad', and now the nausea and tiredness is all back! Couldn't it be just a little bit easier!? :)

onmywayto3 - Monday, 10 Dec
I got your message. It's very nice to meet you. I wish you the best with this pregnancy. Your having a girl? I like the name Cheyann, but that's because that's my niece's name and I think it's very pretty...I am naming my little girl Alana...I am taking my glucose test probably Wed...they gave me all my paper work and I guess I just go and take it whenever it's convient for me and as long as I'm over 26 wks...the 20th I go for another sonogram and check up, good luck on your glucose test *yuk*...so I'll double check to be sure it's def a girl before I give myself a baby shower..lol...well again, nice meeting you and talk anytime you want...take care!
