Hey Everyone! My name is Aimee I am 20 Years old. I live in Vancouver, Wa. Me and my husband just got married June 16th. We found out we were having a baby a month before the wedding. I am due Jan. 2.

17 weeks: I am 17 weeks along today. Not much to say about how I am feeling at 17 weeks along. I havent felt the baby move yet. Which is making me worry but I guess its too soon. I have my BIG ultrasound appointment August 9th to find out if we are having a boy or girl. We are hoping for a Girl. I haven't taken any belly pix yet but I will soon.

17.6 weeks: OMG! Its so exciting to finally start to feel the baby. Right now I feel like someones pocking my tummy from the inside. Its so amazing to finally this. I have been waiting for this forever. Now I just have to wait for my tummy to "POP". I am starting to show a little bit. Next Thursdays the big u/s and it seems so FAR AWAY!!

21.1 weeks: Not much new going on. The baby has been moving around like crazy. I had to go to the doctors last week to get an IV because I was cramping pretty bad. They figured out I was dehyrated so I had to have a bag of fluid. I was there for about 4 hours before I got to go home. Found out that we are having a baby girl and that she has club foot. Its on both sides of the family. I read that if we decide to have more babies which I had always wanted to have like 3 that our second baby has a 1 in 32 chance of getting it.

30 weeks (10/24/07): I thought that I would update since I havent in almost 10 weeks. Things are going really good for me. Only 10 more weeks and my little girl will be here. We have so much stuff to buy! I have no clue how we are going to do it. Since my hubby is the only one working right and barely making above minimum wage. We have clothes and thats pretty much it, a bunch of clothes. We still have to buy her crib, bassinet, changing table, play pen-for the big things. I am so excited for her to get here but I am so nervous about the L&D. We got accepted to go through Schriners so they will do her casting and everything for free. Which is very good for us.

32 weeks (11/7): Well last night at about 10pm I kept on getting some BH contractions I told my husband because he kept asking me what was wrong. Well I turned onto my side because I started to get some chest pain which freaked him out even more. So he grabbed me and started to hold me in his lap and I started shaking really bad I couldnt stop. So he laid me down ran and got my mom and dad and then called the nurse advice line. They forwarded the call to L&D and he talked to a nurse who said that I should be fine as long as the contractions dont get closer, no bloody show, and no water leaking. She said that I was probably having an anxiety attack and thats why I got the chest pain and started shaking. So she told him to have me rest and drink plenty of fluids. I can not believe that there are only 4-8 weeks left until my baby girl will be here. Me and David went to OHSU to volunteer for an u/s class. So I got to have an u/s done for 2 hours straight. I was so happy because they looked and confirmed that she is really she. lol. I dont know why but I have been fearing that she will come out a boy. Lately i've been so scared of something happening to her. I have heard so many stories of the baby dieing because there cord gets wrapped around there neck etc.

34 weeks 1 day(11/22/07): On 11/20/07 I called my Doctor and talked to her because I had been feeling dizzy/lightheaded for 2 days straight, thought I was getting a UTI and keep getting spots in my vision. Well they wanted me to go to L&D so I went there the had me pee in a cup and they monitored the baby for about 30 minutes. Well they ended up telling me that there was nothing wrong with my urine. So I have to drink a glass of water every hour im awake and eat every 2-3 hours, as well as keeping my feet up.

36.6 weeks: Well i've finally lost part of my mucus plug and Faith has dropped. I hope she comes soon! I am so ready for her to be here!

38.1 weeks: I had my membranes swept today and lost the rest of my mucus plug. It had blood in it so im thinking this was the "bloody show" im not sure though. I really hope so. I have been cramping and getting some contractions but nothing to bad. I really hope she comes soon though.

Faith Ivy McCollum:

2/22/08 I cannot believe that my little girl will be 2 months tomorrow! I remember wishing my pregnancy would speed up and now I just want my little girl to be little forever! Me and her daddy love her so much and are so happy that shes finally here with us. She is a very happy baby always smiling and talking. She had her casts and her feet and surgery for the club foot and now shes into the shoes with bar or "braces". I hate them but im getting used to them now. She did not like them at all in the beginning but they dont seem to bother her much now. I cant wait until she gets to the poing where she only has to wear them at night. Right now she has to wear them for 22 hours a day, an hour off in the AM and an hour off in the PM. She loves to have them off so she can kick and play. She holds her head up so good. But still needs a little bit of people. I read online that she is supposed to be eating between 4-6 ozs and she only eats 3 sometimes 4 but not often. So im kinda worried shes not eating enough but she is gaining weight. When she was born she was 7lbs 9oz. and now 2 weeks ago she weighed 9lbs 5oz! Shes getting so big already!

Dont feel bad... Nixon didnt wear his 23/7 either. He actually barely wore them at all in the first three months of that. He luckily had a very mild case and didnt relapse. He now like your daughter just wears them at night. I am so scared the next will have club foot too, I want so badly to be able to put my baby in those cute little footed sleepers!! I didnt know the risk was 1 in 10 that is quite high! Oh well, like you said this time you know what your in for!

lin - Friday, 6 June
Hi!! Nixon is doing wonderful! Such a busy little boy, his club foot sure didnt slow him down any! How are you finding the boots and bar now? How many hours does she wear them? I cant wait for the next one... I thought I was crazy wanting one so soon so Im happy to hear your considering number two as well!!! GOOD LUCK TTC!! thats the fun part!

cool, i used to live in bellingham for a year during a student exchange stint back in '95-'96. it's so beautiful there!

rere - Sunday, 4 May
doctor said they start teething about 4 to 6 months brianne gum are sore and red but no rash.....my old daughter no teeth until 7 months then they all come in at the same time

emy - Sunday, 4 May
I have never heard of a teething rash...but I don't think Jamison is teething so I never really looked into the side effects. But I would relate the drool to teething, and therefore to a rash around the mouth...so I am sure it could be from teeting. Good luck with your pictures!

Julia R - Sunday, 4 May
aimee, boudreaux's butt paste clears up my bella's drool rash around her mouth within a day or two...try it. can you get that in canada?

emy - Sunday, 4 May
Hey! It is probably just from her drooling. I don't have many suggestions...We use the Johnsosn and Johnson Soothing Naturals stick on Jamisons face and neck to avoid rashes...I think it works great. They sell it at Target in the baby aisle, it looks like a mini deodorant stick. I would reschedule my pictures (I'm anal) But I am sure baby faith still looks beautiful! They also make pacificiers with more vents for sensitive skin.

rere - Sunday, 4 May
teething rash develops when excessive saliva dribbles down around the chin and mouth, causing it to become red and irritated

BODOBaby - Thursday, 1 May
HI there! I noticed your post about your daughter not turning over! My son, who I might add, shares your daughters birthday, has only rolled over a couple of times. He'd much prefer screaming into the blanket or sucking his fingers. i honestly think it's been accidental when he's done it. It's very infrequent.
