Hi! Good luck with delivery! Did you already deliver or is it this upcoming friday? I was just going to say I was induced @ 37 weeks, my son came out 6 lbs 3.5 oz and did just fine, just didn't breathe good in the first minutes of life, but didn't need oxygen, he just got shaken by nurses and he started breathing :)

My son came naturally at almost 38 weeks. He was 7lbs 7oz. I am so glad he didn't go full term. Do you know why they are inducing you so early?

Im definitly with you on the not being 'mentally' ready. I always talk to my man and tell him i want the baby out due to all the aches and pains i have now, but when i sit and actually think about possibly going into labour anytime now scares the crap out of me! Physically i am ready, but like you, mentally i am not. I want to meet him and be with him so bad but i think i just have "first time mommie anxiety" or something lol.

My friend had a co-ed shower a few weeks ago and it was great. She had liquor prizes for the guys for the games that we played so that way they were able to have a drink and enjoy themselves.

My main baby shower is on May 31st. My hubby's work is throwing us a small one during work hours on the 22nd. I went to a coed shower 2 weeks ago for my sister in law. It was a barbecue and was nice. It is strange opening gifts in front of guys because they really don't care as much about burp cloths as us somen do!! But we had a great time.

My shower was co-ed. A lot of our friends are couples, and my husband actually wanted to be there. Some people brought their kids which was fine with me- my 3 were there. I just kind of looked at it like a family celebration. I didn't want just a bunch of women playing dorky baby shower games.
