This is our first pregnancy and we are so excited! Baby is due on December 23...hoping it isn't Christmas day but we will be happy with a healthy baby. We have decided to wait to find out the gender. I wanted to find out as soon as possible but my husband has convinced me to wait...and now I kind of like not knowing. It will be a great surprise for everyone!

Wednesday, 21 May So I went to another dr. an hour ago and had a sonogram done. He sees the sac…no baby. Said looks like I’m only 5 weeks. He said I could have already miscarried. He does not suggest a DNC but to wait two weeks and have another sonogram done. My LMP was on March 28 and I had a positive test on May 2nd. Therefore, I think I definitely miscarried already. Thank you all for your support. Cathy :( latasha480 -
Wednesday, 21 May LOL! Yes, I completely relate to the emotional thing. I cried like a baby this morning because I thought I lost my wallet! I was devastated just thinking about all the stuff I would have to replace! But.....also being pregnant, your memory kinda goes bad......it was in a pocket inside my purse the whole time, just laughing at me! You are not alone! And this is only the beginning! LOL! Congratulations! :) pitterpatters -
Tuesday, 20 May Congratulations! I too have had very little to no m/s. Headaches are no fun though. Like you, I'm always good for a nap! 2b -
Monday, 19 May Welcome to pregnancy! Seems you have been feeling good. I too have been having no problems. Kinda nice actually when you think about all the girls who feel lousy. Anyway, keep me posted on how you are feeling and whats going on. And congratulation! mlizg -

Wednesday, 30 April HI Steph! Congratulations on your pregnancy! I've thought about what you asked. The best advise I can give, would be to try not to focus too much on what other people think. It's obviously hard to do so when it's family but, the most important thing is that you and your boyfriend are happy (and healthy!) right now. I would spend the time preparing for your baby not just on the baby but, on your relationship too. I know with my first pregnancy, my boyfriend and I argued a lot instead of just talking. I think if you focus on your relationship and keep the lines of communication open, when people see that the two of you are ok, they'll learn to accept your news too! The only other piece of advise I can think of is, that pregnancy and the reality of a baby is almost instant for an expectant mom. For a Dad it's not quite reality right away. I've read that for some men it doesn't really hit them until the baby is born. So don't get too upset if he's not feeling the same as you towards the baby. I just remember being so upset with my guy 'cause I already loved the baby so much and the concept didn't seem there for him. This time around I've been more accepting of his gradual emotion towards the baby and it's going great! We even got engaged a few weeks ago! Most of all, before you address all the above, take care of you and your little one!
Wish you and your family to be all the best!!!
