Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

I wondered why she has not put me on bed rest. She told me just to work half days. Is your doctor checking your cervix once a week (mine is)? I'm sorry to be asking you so many questions but it seems like every doctor says something different.

jennifer888 - Wednesday, 27 Feb
I am at the same place as you. When you loose your plug you will know it. It will be like mucus from your nose and pink. When I lost mine, it did not even click in my head that it was my plug. My doctor told me that I might go to 35 weeks. What did your doctor say to you when you found out your info? My 1st son was born at 34 weeks and weighed 5 pounds. My water broke shortly after I lost my plug and I did not have contractions for 6 hours. He was very jaundice and had to stay in the hospital 7 days and then had to go back in the hospital for a day 2 days later. I am still scarred having him so early. I guess my body just does not want to go full term.

wow 80% effaced? I never lost my mucous plug..well that i saw anyway with both my babies..good luck!!!

its fusterating sometimes! we're no putting the crib up for a couple months either. my baby is going to stay in the bassenett for as long as possible. but eventually we will have to squeez the crib into our room somehow bc our leas isnt up until november :( one good thing is that the baby's dresser fits into the closet so thats out of the way. but its still just little things... like shoes, bibs, blankets, and then whatever i get from my shower on sunday. but i was thinking that if i get 2 of them door hanging organizers that they will help alot. at least i hope they do! its nice to hear that someone else is going thru the same space problems as me. i wish the best for you and your baby... and for more space :)

Both of those names are beautiful! My husband and I were going to name our son Noah, but last year his brother had a son and named him Noah. So-- they beat us to the punch :-(

I talked to my priest's wife and she said that I might be so busy after the baby comes that missing pascha will not be such a big deal. Right now I can't imagine it, though. It is my favorite time of year. We are having a boy. His church name with be Jacob after St. Jacob of Alaska. What about you?

babyoneg - Monday, 4 Feb
Hey! I just read your post. I am Orthodox, too. I am a little bummed that I will miss pascha this year, but I am really looking forward to the baby's baptism.

angelamouzakitis - Sunday, 3 Feb
That's okay about the novel. My husband and I are actually atheists, but we go to the church for events and we were married in a church as it greek culture is so embedded within the church. We are actually going to have the baptism in Greece this summer in a family church when she is about four months old. You should ask your koumbara to send you an outfit after you give birth depending on the sex...or you can just order it online...these things in Astoria have these outfits year-round. We already known the sex, so she already has easter bunnies in her room waiting for her (from my mother) and an easter outfit (also from my mother who is insanely excited that i'm having a girl.) what part of greece are you from?

angelamouzakitis - Sunday, 3 Feb
I'm greek, but we really only celebrate greek easter, and I also don't follow the forty days. Although it is mine and my husband's first language, and we go to greece every summer, we are not religious at all, don't go to church, etc. etc. We will be bringing our daughter (Ioanna) to my in--laws for a goat on the spit roast and it is going to be quite a party. For an outfit, you could go with a basic baby gown, that could go for either a boy or a girl. I live in a greek area, so we have everything around all the time. I'm not sure if the area that you live in gives you access to the outfits after the season. Sorry I can't be of more help.

That is such a great idea. I have 4 kids already and we love books. My second grader is reading at a 4th grade level and my preschooler is starting to sound out words. The little ones love story time also and I'm sure this baby will too. It is definatly an idea I will keep in mind.
