Hi Everyone!!

I am officially 19 weeks pregnant as I write this and wow it has flown by!! My first scan at 11 weeks seems so long ago. I suffered really bad in the first few months, I could not keep any food down and ended up going to hospital 3 times needing a UV as I was so dehydrated!! I also had so much stress in my life I was so scared I would lose my little baby, so when I saw him/her still wriggiling around and waving on the 12 weeks scan it was a very emotional time.

At 13 weeks my sickness came to a complete stop and I have since enjoyed the feeling of this baby growing inside me! The kicks began at 16 weeks when I was watching Sopranos!! They have got stronger since!!

My next scan is on the 19th May and I am soooo excited about it, I will then be 23 weeks pregnant, we have decided not to find out the sex although I am hoping for a boy! As long as the baby is healthy and happy then it doesn't matter though!!

x

How`s my pregnancy doing?

Once my baby gets comfy it doesnt move either even the midwife tried to get it to move & it was having none of it. I tried everything people said like drinking icy water & it still stayed there. If you are worried though phone the maternity day assessment unit @ your hospital, they will check your babies heartbeat but if its anything like mine its lazy lol x

i think i am fine steph. it just means that the placenta is joined to the uterus at a low point in the womb which means yyour at risk from bleeding and loosing baby. and at labour it blocks babys root out so you have to have a c section. i was just worried about bleeding whilst away and not having my hosp near. my midwife said though they most always pick it up in the scans so she said it cant be that low but i am having scan at 34 weeks when i get back to check. how have you been? i feel huge this week, tummys just come out of no-where, finding it a bit diff to get around. how is it for you hun? xx

bensmum - Saturday, 12 July
Tell me about it. I was telling my sister that I can't help thinking about him night and day, what a LOVE! Wow, you're very pregnant, my belly is still tiny as I lost 5 kg during the 3 first months because of MS :-( Keep smiling and take care of this precious baby, Bensmum

I woke up this morning and my little man was kicking and squirming around A LOT! I think he's about ready or is just cramed, not too much longer to go.

long time no speak blondie, i have just started to get the aches but i think i might have been fighting a bug, everyones had it but me so far. also i get real achy and tired when babys on a growing spurt, my tummys massive now. how did your bloods go? did you see my 4d scan pics? went to london for them, they spent an hour scanning me. leave for mallorca for a month on thurs. scan said i have low sitting placenta so a bit nervous but midwife said if they havnt picked it up in your nhs scans before then your probably fine. yup can you feel baby stretch and you get it both sides?

mumsie26 - Friday, 27 June
oh gosh poor you i get this ,,i got a large pack of rennie the other day which help,, milk takes the edge off it but it comes back , you will only feel more comfy when you get some gaviscon, rennie, tum tums or other form or tablets of liquid for htis.. my baby don`t stay still either.. he also likes to stretch out i`m sure.. at this stage and onwards it can be more uncomfy especially if he gets under your ribs...good luck..have anice weekend..smile

lea - Friday, 20 June
hey i am guessing sometimes. but the bum is so big and round and always seems to be sticking out of my tummy. its funny isnt it when they move around its like alien. are you feeling fit? i started to feel sluggish so 2 weeks ago i went on real health kick with food, cut out all crap :oh my & exercising everyday. its so tiring keeping on top of it all. some times i think oh what the hell then i think god i've gota be fit for the giving birth bit. trying to practice my squats. i go to a public pool for the aquanatal class as my gym doesnt do anything like that. your midwife should be able to tell you stuff in the area. how you doing with everything any aches and pains or are you ok xxx

Scubagirl - Friday, 20 June
Congrats to you too. The pains in my abs have settled down now, thankfully. I think it's the just normal growing pains. I feel really good these days, except when bub decided to rest on my bladder. You look stunning in your picture, I must get round to uploading mine. Good luck with your little one. x

mommy-allie - Wednesday, 18 June
im small too. ive only gained 5lbs and people wont even ask if im pregnant bc theyre scared they might be wrong...haha, id rather be small than big though as long as the baby is okay.

jenniferbrown - Wednesday, 18 June
Dont worry! People say the same things to me about being little. I just tell them that the baby has decided to wrap himself around my spine so he wouldnt poke out to far! LOL.

the bottom is sticking out 2 inches left of my bellybutton and head is under my right boob. if i put my hand on my stomache he tends to move round so your hand then cups his bum and then he pushes up. last night he did it to my partner for the first time, who melted just like I do. are you into alternative stuff? i am booked into natal hypnotherapy course which uses deep relaxation(hypnosis) to help you go through birth calmly & with reduced pain. paul mckenna on tv did it to a woman & she felt no pain until the actual birth. theres loads of courses in london. also reading a book which has been amasing help http://www.gentlebirthmethod.com/ got to be honest i'm not scared but i am doing alot of mind preparation. oops really long message xx

Mallorca was great thanks, got a bit of a tan, 1st time we have chilled out properly in months. i cant believe the kicking its unreal. glad about your scan, i'm sure these things happen every now and then. how did they tell in the first place? went to aquanatal today, met loads of pregnant mummas all looking great. There were 2 girls over due who where hoping to get the baby in action. was so pleased that it didnt happen while we were there! xx
