Hi Everyone!!

I am officially 19 weeks pregnant as I write this and wow it has flown by!! My first scan at 11 weeks seems so long ago. I suffered really bad in the first few months, I could not keep any food down and ended up going to hospital 3 times needing a UV as I was so dehydrated!! I also had so much stress in my life I was so scared I would lose my little baby, so when I saw him/her still wriggiling around and waving on the 12 weeks scan it was a very emotional time.

At 13 weeks my sickness came to a complete stop and I have since enjoyed the feeling of this baby growing inside me! The kicks began at 16 weeks when I was watching Sopranos!! They have got stronger since!!

My next scan is on the 19th May and I am soooo excited about it, I will then be 23 weeks pregnant, we have decided not to find out the sex although I am hoping for a boy! As long as the baby is healthy and happy then it doesn't matter though!!

I've been doing sea salt and olive oil scrubs and using bio oil afterwards. I used it on my face for the first time last night and this morning my make up went on super smoothly. What kind of results are you having? I know you have been using it longer- I just have been looking for someone else that's using it.

Hi Stephanie! I noticed your post about sleeping and I wanted to tell you what I have read. I just read yesterday that it is ok for now for the baby but that later you will find yourself woken up if it is harming the baby. Have you tried a body pillow or just a regular pillow between your legs? I agree it can be more comfortable, but on your left side is the best way to be because it gives the most nutrients to the baby! :) Hope this helps and happy sleeping!

I was told that it is ok to sleep on our backs for now, but as we get bigger it is not a good idea, something to do with blood supply and breathing, and not being good for the baby........ but double check with your midwife as my mind is like a sieve at the moment and can never remember anything anymore!

I find laying on my side with a pillow under my bump helps!

And yep having very strange dreams to.

hi i find that i to have nightmares its common i have dreams that the baby will be born with loads of teeth and wierd things that like lol. very amusing i hope your pregnancy goes wellxxxx

Hi, Well we had our scan and we are having a little girl it was lovely to see her!!..everything is fine and she had really grown since the 13 week scan!..feeling her move now..So your going on holiday!!..Is it Florida??..just noticed the comment about the dolphins..will be envious if you are cos I love it there!!..Have a great time!!! Let me know how oyur sacn goes!!

Thats a shame about not been able to swim with the dolphins, But a great idea to wait until the babys old enough... Im from near Newcastle. It was about 160 heard it on the doppler at week 16ish. Got my 20 weeks Scan tomm was 20 weeks on Tues I ve been dated for 10th Sept on my last scan. Feel a bit anxious about tommorrow but then excited!!..Rob is takin a day off so we are going to have a nice day together and go for lunch etc!!..hope your ok

I am also not finding out the sex of my baby.. Hubby to be aswell being a spoil sport. And of course I would not be able to keep the secret to my self.. Hoping we accidently find out with a scan down the track..
