Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Hey, I read your comment and I think it is a great idea to have your son there!!! My mom always had us in the room with her so I got to watch all four of my sibblings being born! and all four were without epidurals so it wasnt all that calm ether. I know that my little brother did get scared once and my grandma just took him out of the room. I think its a very cool thing! I would just make sure to have someone there that could take your son out just in case he got upset. Good luck!!!!

Good morning! I was watching discovery health one day and there was a woman who was delivering her baby with their 4 yr old in the room. The child was terrified because mommy was in soooo much pain and was screaming. Then the mother started screaming at the child to be quiet. I felt really bad for the child. I am not saying that you will ever scream at your child, but sometimes the pain and the chaos gets the best of people. Hopefully you will opt for an epi if you do bring your child in. It will be very exciting to have a sibling, but maybe child birth is a bit too much.... This is only my opinion and do what is right for you. If your child is mature enough to understand that you will be in pain and it is nothing to be afraid of then I say go for and get him involved. Either way, good luck and I hope you have a very enjoyable birth.

well i cant stop throwing up, so going out to get it is pretty much out of the question. i kind of want to wait til monday til my appt to see if ive made a lot of progress. if its only a little progress, i might go for it. but its im going fast, whats the need, ya know?

i dont feel the need for a doula. lol, i have people like you to talk to :P heh. so you put 2 capsules in before bed? and they dissolve? thats so weird to think about :/ hah. i wear pads these days, will there be oil on them so i know not to freak out? where did you buy them? i might as well get rolling on this stuff lol

ive been dilating and now effacing somewhat quickly, but im SOOO ready to get this over with. its all been really awful for me. ive been in preterm labor 3 times, and since the second time they have stayed at 15 mins apart, but werent strong enough to dilate, like you. but at 31 weeks i started dilating. im only dilated a fingertip, but im 50% effaced. but im sure im dilated more now, with all these strong contractions. i had one so bad the other night, i stood there waiting for my water to break. it was so scary! i dont want her to come for another 6 days :[

are you going to/have you started the primrose oil? i want to try it, but i want to put it right on my cervix to make it go faster. i read even to put it on your belly, because its absorbed thru the skin?? not quite sure about it all lol

Good to hear about the zantac working, yes i take the max also 2 aday =) i wish i could give some tips on the swollen feet i need it myself, seems no matter what i do dosent make any diff ive gotten a pedicure propped them stayed off them for a day NUthing , if you find anything that works share the tip and ill do the same

You should try over the counter Zantac 150 Uhhhhh its a life saver i love it!!!!! the only thing thats worked for me! and yah tums is pointless!!

Well thanks for wondering about me, and i dident get to the point of having to try that yet i had another doct appt so he prescibed so iam gonna try that for a few days and we,ll see how that goes =)

i have the same pain this is my 5th baby and when i was preggo with my 2nd son he tore the muscl;e thst covers your pelvic bone and that's why it hurts so much when you walk it feels better if you wobble and sorry to say it gets worse as the baby gets bigger good luck
