Yesterday I was taking the subway to work and as the subway train was approaching I ended up stepping in a spot that the tiles had been damaged and there was a little hole! As the train pulled up I fell as hard as a 3 year old! (falling that hard while pregnant with the extra weight = painful!) I ended up hurting my left knee and my right ankle! I was in such a state of shock that a nice man came and picked me up! And get this... The train operator waited for me to get in the train before he closed the door! (If you live in NYC you know that NEVER happens!)

Today I am feeling a few aches and pains but overall I think I am ok and most of all the baby is ok! But I mean could something else happen to me? Cause that would be great!

OK, so a few weeks ago we thought we were having a baby girl but, today we went for our Anatomy Sonogram and it turned out we are having a BOY!!! We were shocked but excited!

I watched that same baby story today...I thought that was pretty awesome that he wanted to catch the baby and be so involved. I am afraid though to have my baby anywhere other then the hospital..maybe on the second I would be more comfortable..but not for the first time.. ya know??

She will come and spend each morning (every morning ) with me to help me get into a routine with the baby .then leave afternoons just for baby and me..Im like WTF.....I guess she means well and wants to help but .. heck..truth is .. having her watching over my shoulder correcting my every move ( which she always does ) is going to drive me nuts !! Like you.. I cant tell her to F@@k off..I just dont know what to do...:-( Anyway.. sorry I ve just blurted that out to you !! I hope that you are doing great and I wish you all the best with it all !! XXX

My ex mother in law was a beast. She would cry all the time to get attention also! She came to the hospital with us, and was so angry that I didn't let her in the room with me, that (I found out later), she called all of her relatives to tell them how unsensative I was. Luckily...they were all on my side! Anyways, I remember she bought a crossword puzzle to do while I was in labour, and when I told her I couldn't do it anymore, she stormed off in a huff. For christmas that year, guess what I got? A used crossword puzzle book. Whatever. I never regreted her NOT coming in to the room, she was just a nosey busy body...and I would make the same decision again... just stick to your guns!

I had terrible pains in my hip 3 weeks ago, it was literally so bad i could not walk... i went to a chiropractor that specializes in prenatal and I'm 100% better.. she stripped scar tissue and realigned my pelvis, every week i have to go cause it does slip back out, but its working... i don't understand why they would tell you, you had to have a c-section instead of trying to help you fix the problem.. I'd try everything i could before agreeing to that.. if you really didn't want one.

Sorry to hear about your hip pain, is it because of the pregnancy?

My husbands job was outsourced a few months back and we freaked too... but we found out that through his old job (since we were searching for a new one still) that the insurance lasted another 6 months... you may want to check on that... he found a new job and has since switched over but we had two visits on the old insurance before we switched! Hope that helps... best of luck to you guys!
