Yesterday I was taking the subway to work and as the subway train was approaching I ended up stepping in a spot that the tiles had been damaged and there was a little hole! As the train pulled up I fell as hard as a 3 year old! (falling that hard while pregnant with the extra weight = painful!) I ended up hurting my left knee and my right ankle! I was in such a state of shock that a nice man came and picked me up! And get this... The train operator waited for me to get in the train before he closed the door! (If you live in NYC you know that NEVER happens!)

Today I am feeling a few aches and pains but overall I think I am ok and most of all the baby is ok! But I mean could something else happen to me? Cause that would be great!

OK, so a few weeks ago we thought we were having a baby girl but, today we went for our Anatomy Sonogram and it turned out we are having a BOY!!! We were shocked but excited!

My feet, ankles and even my toes began swelling this week and i understand what you are going through. Its very painful but putting them up for about an hour helps. I live in southern california and the hot weather is not helping my situation. Its going to be 95 F tomorrow :( Just remeber to listen to you body, stop and relax. TC

My feet are killing me, I have my husband rub them along with my calves and it is getting better. Today my feet are better. I have him do it at night after I get out of the shower while I am laying in bed. It relaxes me so much and really helps me. Good luck and ask your husband to relieve some of your pain!

1st reading some of the comments that you have made and some that have been said to you :) i feel you

i have gained 50 lbs if that helps and this is my second and i'm going to the doc appt today and i dont even want to know what i have gained since then lol.. i sure i'll be in the 180's .. oh and i gained 90 lbs with my daughter and remember this your all water weight so subtract 15 of it from that and after my 1st i lost 40 lbs in the first 2 weeks its alot of water dont panic.. as long as your bp is good thats what they worry about ..

everyone is different in pregnancy and losses different if your anything like me you probally dont have a stretch mark.. i would so rather gain the weight and be huge then have one stretch mark...

Also on the swelling of the feet my hurt so bad at the end of the day and swell so bad i loose the veins in my feet and my feet have moved up a size now.. all i can say is that with my first my ankles became what i call kankles all of it the same size.. hope this helps

That's what we have registered for as well, and from the reports I read today, they seem to have the lowest amount of BPA in the bottles that were tested, which is somewhat comforting. :)

I know how you feel. I'm a week behind you, but at my last appointment my doctor got on my case about gaining 8 pounds in a month instead of 4. It put me at about 20 then, and it's been a couple of weeks so I'm sure it's moreee now. I was so upset, I tried to make myself eat only healthy food all the time and eat less than I was. But I was just so hungry and I didn't feel good. I think doctors are just silly these days, always getting on women about the weight they gain. Some people can't help it and honestly, how am I supposed to make sure I only gain 4 pounds in one month? I don't eat a lot of junkfood, so it's not like I'm doing anything wrong. I'm just not even going to worry about it anymore. If she says anything to me at my next appointment, I'm going to tell her that I have been eating healthy and that I don't know why I gain so much weight.

mommaloo - Thursday, 10 April
Well if this makes you feel any better I had my appointment on Monday and I weight 200 pounds. I started at 140!! My doctor cant seem to figure out why I am gaining so much, but she said that as long as my blood pressure looks good than she is not worried. After all it just makes for one healthy Baby right!! This is my 3rd pregnancy and I gained 85 with my first 75 with my second and now 60 so far with this one. I think you look beautiful and as long as you are healthy and happy with yourself thats all that matters!!! Good luck to you

xxxkaylaxxx - Thursday, 10 April
Hi,i was reading your message and i wouldnt worry about your weight gain i have put on two stone as well and counting i dont weigh my self anymore i wouldnt worry.xx

brooklyn25 - Thursday, 10 April
I don't think you need to be too worried about the weight gain. I have gained 24 pounds so far and my doc has said I'm doing great, and have been gaining exactly as much weight as I should be. I think we are all sapose to have gained around that much. They say you should gain about a pound a week.....so keep your chin up! I'm sure you're doing great. Besides it's better to give your little one a few extra calories than starve the baby. Which some people try to do. Just try to relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy! Besides with all the hard work we're doing...I think we should be aloud a little treat now and then :0)

Some people... I would have been enraged if that happened to me! I'm so hormonal right now...that if he let me on the bus I would have jumped in and drop kicked him! : )

wendy1stbaby - Wednesday, 9 April
that bus driver is a dick (sorry), you should report him. some people can be so inconsiderate. I'm sorry.

lizzie61804 - Tuesday, 8 April

Isn't amazing what pregnancy can do to you, I'm not usually clumsy and I have a great memory, but as soon as I get pregnant watch out, I trip over anything and sometimes nothing and my memory is shot. Don't worry things will change back after you have the baby.

littlerpm - Friday, 28 Mar
Thanks for the message. I'm still in shock about how little you get over there as it's always made out to us here that Americans are really family orientated including companies. Good luck, your crib looks really nice by the way.

momofthree - Friday, 28 Mar
I couldn't imagine it... and leaving your baby when they are so young. I feel badly for you. I remember when I had to leave my son Ben, he was 6 mos. old...and I thought that was terrible..because you're right...unless you pay oodles of cash..quality care is definetly an issue! Well... I wish you luck! Hope everything is going great with your pregnacy! Love your little 'in room' nursery too! Adorable

Very cute bedding! I wanted that same bedding set but when you are having a little girl (like we are) its kinda hard to not choose pink. I love rocky road too :). TC

Sorry to hear about your fall. Glad to know you're feeling better. In NYC also and agree with the small apartments. They wont need much room right now, but their belongings will. I'm already looking at the amount of space 'he'(yes, it's a boy) is already taking up. lol.
