Hello there, my name is Heather and I've been married to my husband and soulmate - Randy- for almost 3 years. We have been together for 8! I love him so much and we can't wait to start our family! We have a cat and a dog - starter children (LOL). We live in a little house by the woods and work hard for everything that we have. And I wouldn't have it any other way!
I lost 75 lbs. in order to be able to get pregnant. My Dr. told me it would be a good idea. So, I went on Weight Watchers and have had tremendous success. After losing 40 lbs, my period returned. I was sure that it would still be hard to get pregnant...try and try we did and sure enough...we concieved in only 6 months after that!
Its kinda been a wild ride so far but I'd do it all over and I can't wait to meet my little girl - Samantha Rae - She will be so loved.
I have to continue working after she is born and I really would rather not, but financially that is not an option. The thought of someone else being able to hear her first word and watch her first steps just kills me. Being pregnant, I think has brought a beautiful new perspective to my husband and I's relationship. Even though she's not even here yet, every decision and every thing we do is already affected by her. And we wouldn't change that for the world!

Hi, I have not had any BH contractions either. I had to ask my Mom last night what I should be expecting to feel, since reading about them on here, some girls make it sound "oh so dramatic". I was told the contractions will start mildly at first and feel like mild period cramps, and come in a wave of intensity. Of course as you get further into labor, they will be more powerful. A girlfriend at work told me she never got BH either, and she was fine. Don't worry, your uterus wiil know what to do!

GoonieMomma - Thursday, 26 June
Hey strack- one way of prepping your uterus is to drink Red Raspberry leaf tea. Not raspberry tea, which is extremely easy to find. But the ever elusive leaf of the plant. Tastes a bit like weak english breakfast tea to me... takes 10-15 minutes to steep (holy cr*p). Anyway, homeopaths believe it to tone your uterus, and leftovers can be used right before/during menstruation to help the period. Maximum benefits are 3 8oz cups a day, so you're also sure to stay hydrated.
I made several cups and then froze them into ice cubes. A couple in my cup on the commute to work and by the time I get to work: iced tea!

I can suggest a couple of brands if you're interested! My BH are not like period cramping at all, unless I'm dehydrated. Mostly they feel like someone's gently pushing baby up and into me, sometimes making me a bit breathless from the compression.

Oh man, I made the mistake of saying that I hadent had any BH contractions yet just a few days ago and lastnight I had my first few. It felt more like period cramps than anything. It didnt really hurt I was just uncomfortable and a little annoyed by them..lol
If your anythg like me, Now that you have said something about it you will have them

oh girlfriend, I hear ya...LOUD n CLEAR! The DOL is useless with and this country is a joke. Not much we can do unless we move out of country, not that I would ever do that. It just sucks and makes me feel like a doormat. I blame it on my company, but I know its not their fault. Be strong, it will all be over soon :) Before you know it, we will be back to work. I envy the moms that can stay home with their rich sugar daddy's

Hello

I just want to let you know that I may drop off line very soon. This is because it's possible I may be admitted into hospital on Friday to deliver my baby. I could be gone for a month or so, but I promise to let you know what happened on my return. I wish you you all happy and healthy pregnancies and I look forward to hearing about your bundles of joy when the moment arrives. Lots of love..Ellie.

It wakes me up too. I don't get relief from standing on my feet though, and now the pain has been constant since yesterday afternoon. I go to the doc tomorrow. I get results from the diabetes test too. I failed the first one
Thanks for the advice, take care, E-C-L

Hey there..thanks for the message, boy this little one is keeping me on my toes already! It's been a quite a journey and for the most part I'm calm but I have my moments when I feel down and just wish that everything was 'as it should be'. Someone said that I should just be happy that I have a small baby than not have a baby at all..and they're right..I feel blessed to have him and already love him so much...I guess it's normal to want him to be ok. Anyway enough moaning!...tell me how you're doing. I'm glad Sammy caught up, and it gives me hope too. Anyway on a more positive note, how often do we get permission from the doctor and midwives to eat eat eat and sit on our bums?!!! Take care, Ellie

Mommy-Melissa - Monday, 9 June
Yeah, I was a little worried about how close the baby shower is also, until I heard from other women on here. I'm excited! Congrats on your little one!!

thanks for the message. I also thought my excessive peeing was totally normal. but the other day, when i was done peeing and got off the toilet i knew something was not right, how could i need to pee again so badly but with nothing really coming out. i bet i have had this for a long time but it has progressively gotten worse over time. i am really shocked my doc didn't spot it as i was in her office for a routine monthly on tuesday. i hope you are feeling better from it!!!

Thank you very much for the reply - we are really freaking out right now! We have a Level II scheduled for next week, I'm praying for good news. How long was it between when they found them on your baby and when they went away? Thanks!

ellieshay28 - Monday, 12 May
Hi! I'm doing Ok, how are you?
I'm starting to feel him move so much more now and loving it. My husband can now feel him too and he thinks it's so strange to see my belly move around!
I have a lot to organise because our initial plans of having him in Australia have been changed and we'll be staying in France. This means that not a thing has been bought! It was all organised in Aus. Oh well I'll get there, I just found out that my Mum will be able to come over so I know I'll have her help.
What's new in pregga world for you?
Ellie.
