Thanks for the response. I know it is better for the baby, but I was in labor and even waited at home for 4 hrs so I could be certain. Even my nurse was mad at the doctor because she even said the contractions would not be stopped. Well I hope things go well for you and I will keep you posted.

oh boy let me tell you about yesterday. So around 5 my contractions started about every 6-7 minutes and by 6 they were every 5-6 so I waited a little before calling my husband. At like 6 30 they were getting closer so I called him. He was at his sisters house and I told him they were every5 minutes and that I wanted to wait like 2 hours before we headed out, I wanted to make sure they were going to continue and get stronger. Well they continued and got stronger and he made it home around 8 00. His UFC came on, the fighting, anyway so I figured we can still wait while he watched that so I waited. Then at 9 they were coming like every2-3 minutes so I laid down for like 15 minutes. His new program came on which was another UFC so I told myself I could take a bath while I waited til 10 til the UFC fight was over. So I got in the tub and just let the water run and was in there til like 9 40. As I cam out I couldn't even stand straigh up because the pain was bad. The contractions were coming so strong and I said we need to go and we need to go now because the car needed gas. I thought he would say his fight wasn't over, but he saiad lets go. So we get to the hospital at 10 05 and they said that every room was full because there were so many women having babies so I had to wait 30 minutes in the waiting room. I was in so much pain. So finally the receptionist asks me if I am fine and I told her no, I was hurting and bad. So finally a nurse came with a wheel chair. Anyway they hook me up and sure enough the contractions were eevry 2-3 minutes and off the chart. So the nurse said yeah we are having a baby. She said this time the doctor wont stop them because at midnight you will be 36 weeks. Well guess what? The nurse comes in my room 25 minutes til 12 and said well the doctor said to stop them. I was so mad. My MIL and god friend were already at the hospital and we were all so excited and ready. I asked her why and she said she didn;t know but that the doctor would explain. He made me so mad because on Monday he said come 36 weeks it would be fine and now hw is saying 37. He said he will be on call this Saturday and if I go into labor again which he thinks I will, I can go in but then he said he would stop them. I am furious and now just depressed about all this. I am 3-4 cm dilated now and at home in pain. No more medicine to stop them so why is he stopping them? He said a 36 week baby is as good as a 40 weeks baby. I have an appt on Monday, but I told my husband I am done, I am not going to anymore appts with that doctor. I wont go to anything unless I am in labor again and I may just go to my old hospital since they have my info. I think whoever is on call at the other hospital can deliver the baby. At this point I dont care if my husband delivers him. I am so upset and depressed now I haven't eaten today except for breakfast.

Hey there, hanging in there!! WHAT do you mean the baby's head has engaged 3/5? EXPLAIN i am a new Mom to be, that llingo is like greek!! LOL Still bed ridden, Doc says he may take little one next week, he will examine my cervix to see if there is any change.. He looked last week, n nothing.. That was week 35 though, I am now in 36, ad this pre- e really bites! I am sooo swollen and can hardly walk.. All my fam and friends r like WHY O WHY doesnt he just do a c-section/? I dont know at this point, I know i got home yest from seeing him and my BP was 158/94 .. Scary... I dont know but with I knew something i am so tired of feeling unsure - scared and in limbo! Hope all is ok with you and explain that 3/5 's thing!! lol blessings to you dear one!

I colored my hair a few days ago, but I am trying to grow it out. It is like to my shoulders, a little above, so I am good for the summer. Did you not want to know the sex of the baby or they just couldn't tell you? Well I know we are definitely having another boy. I can't wait. I ask my youngest if he is ready and he says yes. We watch a baby story, bringing home baby, and special delivery together. He says the babies on the shows are cute and he wants his little brother to look like that.Well I will keep you updated, take care!!

Hey-- Well I saw my doctor Monday and I already knew that I am 2-3 cm dilated because I was in the hosptil June 9-10th. Well my labor was stopped, but anyway on Monday he said that once 36 weeks hits which is Thursday, my labor will not be stopped. Yeah!!! I know he will be here this week because I have been contracting like crazy, I have loss of appetite, I am cleaning like crazy, I have been nauseated, hmmm.... what else, oh yeah TMI but I have been going to the bathroom a lot like if my body is just cleaning itself out if you know what I mean. Right now I am contracting and let me tell you about last night. I was laying there and all of a sudden I started to feel so much cramping followed by contractions. I tossed and turned and kind of moaned, not too loud, and was in some pain. I got up at 5am and had a bowl of Raisin Bran and watched the Cosby show hoping to fall asleep, but the pain continued. I turned the t.v off and laid on the sofa and just as I started to fall asleep, my husband comes in the living room and asks me why I wasn't in bed and I told him cuz I was hurting. I really do think that Wednesday night I am feeling the same, I am gonna go have the baby since this time they wont stop anything.Today we went and bought my lap top an adapter so I can be wireless because my wireless chip stopped working. Anyway I have college work online so I need to take this computer with me to L/D. I am ready I guess. My bag is packed and I hope I haven't forgotten anything. I will keep you updated. Oh yeah, Wednesday there is a full moon.

I am doing well, I have to give myself a progesterone shot once a week to 'hopefully' prevent any preterm labor this time around - but I am feeling better than ever! So glad to hear you doing well! And the excited/nervous I understand, this is my second and I am also beginning to feel nervous but as you say with the grace of god everything will be alright - Keep us posted! :) xx

Everything will work out. My second baby was born at the end of 35 weeks and he was healthy and weighed 6lbs 11 oz. He will be five in August. I really think mine will be here at36 weeks. last night I kept hurting. Also, the 18th is a full moon and the 19th marks my 36th week, so we will see.

ok.. try crackers instead of rice.. you can have way more of these and they are just as tasty... what about salads..? you could make tofu or paneer with spinach and then have some rice or roti with it.. grilled veggies are good too and then add some noodles perhaps... there are alot of options.... www.dlife.com is a great source of diabetic recipes.

its not for much longer, try your best, if not for you but for your baby. it really isn't too bad if you get organised. I tend to make a big batch of food then eat it until its done, then make something different, it really makes it easy. please try.

Thank you so much. I am also glad he didn't come. At first I was upset because it is so hot here in TX and I am tired of being pregnant, but he needs to be in there for a little longer.

The first week I went on the diet and started with insulin I lost 6lbs... I think it has more to do with the diet than the insulin.... the baby should be fine as long as you are eating all the right things, they will get their nutrition.... don't panic.. I went through the same anxiety... I have only put on 4lbs this entire pregnancy !
