I'm Hannah 20 from Essex near London. My life is my family- son of 4, newborn baby girl and partner of 5 1/2 years.
Before I was expecting i was a stay at home mother apart from my modelling and promotional events a few times a month or whenever a job popped up. Im a natural size zero and proud! i have never dieted or eaten less than 4 BIG meals a day in my life. I box and am the only girl in my club because they thought the clubs training was too harsh for girls! im very competitive & love sports. Also i used to be in the army before i lost too much weight through training and ill be joining back up part time in a few years when my little ones are older. Im hoping to be a stay at home mummy for at least a year to our next baby and then ill be off to study midwifery at university and my partner Terry will have his turn to be a stay at home daddy :D
I have very strong feelings about people sterio-typing young mothers or parents. I may be a young mother but its not age that matters it is simply the shape of your heart. I have bought up Jordan from the age of 16 with my partner Terry, refusing any help from my parents or his along the way because i want to prove that we can do it just the same, or even better. We have lived in our own house since he was born and he never goes without a single ounce of anything, especially love. I do not lower myself to parents who leave their children with people to go out and party every weekend, its just not in my nature to put that first. I never dropped out of school, i got 11 a-c grades in every subject i took :)
BIRTH STORY:
Our baby girl was born 15th April at 2.40 AM after just 1hr 40 minutes and no pain relief at a healthy 6lb 6, exactly the same weight as mummy when she was born. Therefore not much of a birth story- something went 'pop' in the night which were my waters then the contractions started VERY strong and were coming within a minute of one another, phoned the hospital who said i had plenty of time but i knew that i didnt so grabbed the bags, phoned my mum to take care of my son who was fast asleep in bed, then when she arrived we were off and my contractions were almost constant... i knew things were close. I couldnt quite sit upright in the car coz i didnt want gravity to speed things up- they were already coming fast enough! When we got to the hospital i hobbled across the car park, stopping when the contractions got really strong and trying my best to hobble a few more steps when they weren't at their peek. By the time i reached the ward there wasn't a break in between them at all and the midwifes knew she would be here withing the hour by looking at my face lol, i was checked after about 5 minutes and was just over 8 1/2cm OWCHIES! i did ask for any pain relief that was going but they said it was too late except gas and air, but i figured i was almost there anyway and with a bit of kicking *something i couldnt seem to control lol* and a few sour faces i was ready to push. I kept saying that i needed to push but for some reason i wasnt with it and kept waiting for them to tell me to push but terry said they had said i was fully dilated and i could (so i stupidly waited a few evil contractions before i realised haha) then after a few pushes our beautiful Shaila was born into the world- perfect in every way :)
She's now 10 days old, settling down into some sort of routine, bonding with the family, breastfeeding very well and growing beautifully...
15th april: 6lb 6
20th april 6lb 3
24th april 6lb 9
