Well ..... where to start?...hmmm! Hi my names Laura and i'm pregnant with my 2nd bundle of joy due 9th June 2008! I am mommy to my gorgeous son Mason Jay Rees who is 2 years old born 6th November 2005 to a very proud mommy and daddy! Me and brad are thrilled to be pregnant again and caught in the 1st month of trying!

I love being pregnant and am feeling fantastic after the initial early bouts of queasiness! this pregnancy has been far smoother than my 1st (so far!)

I am hoping to have a natural birth as had an emergency c/setion after 12 hours of labour with Mason. My consultant is pretty sure it will be possible but will have to wait and see at my examination just before my due date! so fingers crossed!

Anyway, heres to a happy, healthy pregnancy to all! message me anytime.

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

Aww bless her, sorry to hear that, hope it all goes well, i would be scared aswell if i had to go through that, you'll have to let me know how you get on, ive got the midwife tomorrow, got a call from the hospital midwife this morning saying i need to take my iron tablets as my iron level is really bad its worse than before and if i dont take them then i will have to go into hospital and be put on a drip so they can get iron to me through that way and they will do that anyway if the iron tablets aint working properly either and i might need to have a blood transfusion after the birth (fingers crossed i dont), will just have to wait and see, so just gotta wait a month now because ive gotta have more blood tests and wait and see what the results come back as, so gonna take my iron tablets now x

Even tho i have lived in Birmingham nearly 4 years i still dont really know the places round here..lol but i have been to solihull a few times, i just stay in the area's that i know unless im with my partner then it doesnt matter if i get lost coz im with someone..lol sorry to hear you have complications, whats the matter if you dont mind me asking? Im having the baby at Birmingham womens hospital thats where i had my son nearly 4 years ago, my daughter was born in London x

my little girl is pretty quiet, too. sometimes i feel her a lot and sometimes i dont. im definitly not feeling kicks and punches yet myself. she moves so low!!! i dont know if its a girl thing or what? everyone keeps telling me its still early though and we'll be looking back on right now and laughing!! good luck!

I think it varies with every baby...this my 3rd babe and he is the queitest by far but everything is going just super, my doc has reassured me that there is nothing to worry about:) So maybe you have a gentle, quiet little babe:)

Sorry havent posted for a long time, been quite busy at work.... Had my scan last wednesday...they r rescanning next wednesday as baby is a bit small according to how many weeks i am pregnant...let see what happens..Morning sickness seems to have nearly stopped...still not showing yet...i wud upload my scan pics but currently we in process of moving and scanner is packed away!
Anyways u take care and keep posted... :)

Hiya How r u doing? Managed to get another scan picture done...First i went to the receptionist at the hospital she said no then i went to the midwife section they said no... i was sooooooooooo upset as everything is so importnant to me ( it took me 4 yrs to get pregnant) I was crying...then i hid in a quiet place as i didnt want anyone seeing me... another midwife asked me what happenend... i told her she goes i shud ask the person who done my scan, so luckily he was walking past...kindly asked him he said YES but dont tell anyone and he goes quickly get into the room before supervisor sees him... I was so happy...He didnt even charge me for the scan picture...bless him!!!

Well, i may have been complaining about no movement but last night was well and truly an exception!!! I woke up at 1am as dylan had fallen out his bed!! dont really know how he managed!! anyway, when i got back to bed i couldnt sleep for someone kicking my insides about!! it was amazing!!! x

Hey! I am doing really well. I have so much energy it's unreal! I wish I had the funds to re-vamp my house. I want to get so much stuff done! I think I felt a first kick last night. I was talking to my mom and I definitely felt something. My first baby was 8lbs2oz. Not too bad, but the dr thought she was going to be closer to 10lbs. I have a smaller frame so maybe that is why. Although I know people that are so tiny you wonder how they were able to give birth. Oh well. Whatever is meant to be is meant to be. I hope you have a great day and keep in touch!

I know, he is such a clever little cookie!! thats 2 nights in a row now that he has slept properly and hasnt even tried to get back up! Probably cause he doesnt know how!!! I have decided im not going to find out what im having, think i will do what you are doing and get the sonographer to show me the parts and see what i think! That way its not official and someone isnt saying your def having a .....!! I dont have a clue what im having. This pregnancy is so different from the last which makes me think girl but because i have a boy already i can only see myself with another boy! I was at the doctors this morning, been having awful stomach pains at night and not much movement but doc said nothing to worry about as i have got IBS so he reckons its all just connected and as for the shortage of movements it prob just cause i was used to dylan being such an active baby! He listened in to the heart beat which was lovely and strong so im happy with that!! How you keeping??xxx

Hi summermommy08! I think you are right about being so busy during the day to notice any movements. I think I feel some little bubbles when I am relaxed too. WOW, I can't believe your not finding out the sex! Good for you! I could never do it. I am too nosey! My doctor was also very happy to hear that I wanted to try a VBAC. Some dr are against it so I was glad to hear she would perform one. I had a scheduled c-section at 4 days overdue. They thought my daughter was going to be almost 10lbs. I was not dilated or dropped and they thought the baby was too big to have it vaginally. They gave me the option and I chose a c-section because at that point I just wanted it out! I regret that decision now. Oh well! We will find out towards the end too if we can do VBAC. Let's hope so. Well, have a great day and talk to you soon. We find out the sex on the 24th!!!

went hospital and got my first scan picture...then later on at work MESSED up my scan pictures soooooooooo upset....tried to laminate them....pic just dissapeared!!!
i am going to try and go in on friday to see whether they can do them again...i hope so.. :(

I dont know what to do, on one hand i want to know but on the other the surprise factor is nice! was thinking i might ask and if im not meant to know then the baby will have its legs crossed! How old is your other child? Dylan my little boy is just 21 months!! I have put him in a single bed tonight for the first time so hoping it goes smoothly! He is sleeping at the moment but will see what happens!! x

Hi laura, i noticed we are due on the same day both with our second bub. I have noticed also that my baby doesnt move a lot, i get a few kicks, mainly in the morning or evening but usualy nothing through the day. oh well, i guess it is just a lazy baby as my first moved all the time. i have my ultrasound in 3 days so cant wait to find out what we are having, do u know what u are having?
