Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Monday, 22 September ok.got pains on friday evening after a sweep that morning-then the pains stopped! i was so upset! woke up on saturday morning around 6.30 with little contractions by 10.30 am i had to go to the delivery suite.i wanted an epidural but they had no time as i'd gone from 4 cm to 9 in under an hour! had gas and air and a straight forward vaginal birth with no tearing but omg it hurt!! mia had 2 knots in her cord and it was around her neck but thanks to the quick actions of the midwife she was delivered safely.she weighed in at 9lb 10 oz which isnt my biggest baby - but i felt it! every oz of it! thank you to everyone for their lovely comments and support and big hugs to you all,i've 'met' some wonderful ladies thanks to this site and its been a pleasure! i'm not doing the pregnancy thing again but what i am doing is a midwifery course! i'm baby bonkers. love and best wishes to you all - see you as soon as i get another 5 mins to myself ! lol xxx *emma-jane* -

Wednesday, 23 July thanks for the info! i have an induction scheduled for 39 weeks if my bp can stay stable around where it is now. My dr did decide this week to try some meds this week because even with the bedrest i still get some pretty high peaks. But for the most part they are stable - i take it 3 times a day and average around 137/88. as long as it stays there i think i'm ok - good luck, let me know how everything goes! beachbaby19 -
Wednesday, 23 July i really liked your message. it does help to put things in perspective and i'm glad someone else feels it too! only one day in more than thousands! good luck with your delivery... i hope it's a smooth one! lindsaylee -
Sunday, 20 July thanks! I'll try that! I looked on some website and it said to take a warm bath/shower but I am so hot the way it is so I canceled out that option pretty fast! mommyleek -

Friday, 11 July You're so right; i don't want to worry about ANOTHER thing. Now that I think about it, I only have a couple months to go.. I think I can handle a little more gain. I just can't wait till my little man is out!! Thanks for the advice!!

Friday, 11 July My blood pressure regularly is 115/60 but for the last week its been up to 140/90 so that is a huge increase for me which is why they are worried... Wow 160/92 is very high! but I don't know what you usually are? Either way I am pretty sure thats not good... They are concerned and want to induce me at 37 weeks which would be nice since then I wont be giving birth to a 9-10 lb. baby which is what he would be if he went full term. How big is your baby so far?? sunrisehill -
Wednesday, 9 July congratulations I havent heard about mine yet. I will deliver at holy family and maybe as soon as the 13th of september. It is cool to know someone so close to me that will deliver at the same time( aprox) . I am so glad you passed!! Where did you do yours? I did mine right by the hospital. I have a son who just turned four in may. His name is James. tandiann -
Wednesday, 9 July I passed my 3 hour! Lord was I nervous. My heart was pounding and I felt dizzy and sick. The nurse left a message that I needed to call her back so I was sure that something was wrong but she said because of hippa rules she can't leave personal info on answering machines. So I am so greatful that everything is good but am commited to being more careful of my sugar intake no matter what from now on. Thanks for your concern. tandiann -
Wednesday, 9 July I am in Spokane! How funny. I am scheduled to deliver at sacred heart on the 15th so if you go into labor early and choose to drive that far perhaps we will meet. How old is your son? Mine is 4. We did his room is the disney Cars theme and he loves it. He and the baby will share a room for a while so it will be funny to see her ultra girly bedding and stuff up against his boyish walls. Talk about contrast. We have no stairs to worry about and the inside is mostly done minus a couple walls needing mud and tape and trim in like 2 rooms. The outside however... We have yet to start residing the original part of the house and there is a 'pile' of construction debris in the backyard so that adds to the pretty factor. We just want to get it done inside so that we can put away the chopsaws, utility knives, nail guns and all that good dangerous stuff. Not to mention thin out all the materials laying around. Doors, trim, Mud buckets, tile, caulk and miriads of other stuff. It think we will gain a ton of square footage just ridding all of that stuff. But yeah, taking it easy is my choice. Plus what is left is stuff that I can't help much with anyhow. I stink at trim. Not good with the angles. So I am getting ready to call the nurse back to get my glucose test results. She left a message so I am worried it is bad news. Hoping that is just standard procedure though. I will let you know when I know. Keep your fingers crossed tho. sunrisehill -
Wednesday, 9 July Someone who understands. We just finishied installing new windows awsome( the last ones I hit a fly on one and the pain popped out) and redoing my sons room. The we still cant get the light fixed in there and we are all cramped downstairs until we fix the old 100 percent grade ones and can move upstairs. I currently live in the dining room. It is coming along but, i just now know to add 2-3 weeks and 500 bucks to any project we start. Oh well in 10 years this place will look great. I told my husband when we finish what we started no more after July. It is hard to live in a construction zone. Dont work too hard it all gets done eventually. I am in Newport Wa where are you? I noticed your profile said eastern WA. Good Day tandiann -
Wednesday, 9 July The best is when you break into a wall and find out that a weight bearing wall has had all it's support cut out. We found this in like 3 walls. But yeah, the joys of pre-inspected construction. When we redid the roofing, there were 3 layers so we had to tear off and found a ton of dryrot of the decking. So we had to repair that and we found out that our house was originally built without eves and they were added on later. So they are sort of attached to the house but they aren't the trusses extended over the edge. So we couldn't put any weight on them. It was awesome. That and ot was like 115 degrees up there. We are trying to get it all done before the baby gets here but DH is out of town this weekend and the one right before my c/s we are out of town. That leaves 8 weekends minus 2 babyshowers and a girls night. So we are running out of time. How is yours coming? I love having a new kitchen. The procedure of gutting and starting over sucks but it's worth it. Dannillep -
Thursday, 3 July Yeah, I actually had to have the three hour test with my last baby and it was awful. I passed which was good but sitting there for three hours and being poked 4 times is not that much fun! KIRSTIE -

Tuesday, 10 June It's funny, I didn't know until the scan, but I was sure he was a lot bigger than one and a quarter pounds. Sure enough, he's 2.1 lbs and I feel like I've got an elephant inside my belly already! I don't know about you, but we're having 100 degree weather and it's just brutal. Take care of yourself and drink loads of water this summer! firsttimmer08 -
