it took that long? I gave it to my son and he went within 15 minutes... At his next feeding, he went right afterwards again. I didn't even hear him straining!! I hope I didn't give it to him too soon!

Really??? It's been that long and he still cries? That is really tough! I pray that does not happen. I work an hour away in a hospital lab...so really...I'm gone from the house from 2pm-12:30 am. It's a long time away...and these are the hours she is awake and in a good mood...but when he takes over...her mood changes. It's so sad. It's not like he's hurting her or anything...she just wants me. She cries like she is in pain though. I think my hubby just doesn't have that gentle touch...maybe that's it. He can also become very impatient and I'm sure she can sense it....although last night...he was talking all sweet to her....was walking her around the house....and nothing worked. I'm glad I'm not alone...but I hope it gets better for us, our babies and our husbands soon.

WOO!! hoping for the same, last night though he wouldn't move at all, SO tonight I am going to try again. Personally I don't think he wants too, he is worse than a woman, ALWAYS GOT AN EXCUSE!! Anyways congrats on your little one, were you effaced or dialated at the time you "did it"?

I feel the same way, I'm so anxious I'm obsessing on it and loosing my mind!!!! I would trade any newborn duties like diaper changing 24/7 or staying up all night with this waiting crap!

Hi, I am also feeling the same way.. Not sure what to expect my labor to be like so the feeling of the unknown is the only down side... I have been very lucky to have a very easy pregnancy & i am still comfortable, so i will miss being pregnant & feeling bubs move.. However I am so looking forward to getting my body back, being able to eat all the foods your not allowed... getting back the flat tummy & flexability :) Not long to wait now.. A week or 2 is nothing after 38 weeks :)

I was reading your comment on having mixed feelings about the big day, and I feel the same way! I am ready to have him, but I am gonna miss being pregnant. I remember when my first son was born I was a little sad because now I had to "share" him. When I was pregnant he was all mine, all the time!!!

That is so funny! i did that last week before i went to the doc, since i knew ther was a check. well didnt know how bad i did till my boyfreind said " what did you do!" and then called me patches. i looked in the mirror and could'nt help but feel embarrased!
