I'm Married to my soul mate of 10 years this May. I have two gorgeous Boys 7 and 14 months. And just found out last Saturday that I'm pregnant again. This baby was unplanned and quite a surprise. But we are so excited and can't wait to see our third and last baby. I'm due October 3, 2008. I'm a little nervous that my youngest ones will only be 23 months apart and hope they will all me the best of friends. But, I keep thinking that God is only going to give me as much as I can Handle. Right?? And that even though this baby wasn't it our plans this child is in his and he showed us that it was in ours too. So Here we Go.........

The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in the early evening.

Hi, I am so pleased that you are having a girl. As you hadn't planned to have another baby at the moment it makes it extra special. How have your boys taken the news? Have you thought of any girls names yet? I am still working on that one....
Since having the scan last week I have become very settled with the news. In many ways having another girl simplifies so many things. I know that Bethan and Kate will love having a little sister. It also cuts down on a lot of jobs for me before the baby comes (like sorting through all of the clothes in the attic!)
Do you have any sisters? I have 3 brothers and remember how badly I wanted a sister throughout my life as I grew up surrounded by all the boys toys in the house! I never had anyone to share clothes with or talk about boyfriends with and my mum was too busy with my brothers to be of much help. My youngest brother was born when I was 14 and I was so disappointed that he wasn't a sister!! So having 3 girls helps to balance things out a little!

Hello! Many congratulations on finding out that you are expecting a girl. It must be extra exciting for you as you have two boys already. I bet you are really happy! Well done!
We found out at the scan yesterday that we are expecting a girl too. Deep down I was hoping for another girl as practically speaking it makes a lot of things easier, but I feel a little bit of disappointment that it wasn't a boy afterall. I probably would have felt some kind of disappointment whatever the sex of the baby was.
We are not planning to have any more children so I am a bit sad because I will never find out what it is like to have a little boy in life. Funnily enough my husband is delighted! He thought all along it would be another girl and is really happy. He has no reservations at all about not having a boy - even though he will be in a household of 4 women!
Girls are great fun - and if you are anything like my friends locally that have two boys you will be over the moon about being able to go out shopping for pink things now! Enjoy it!

I understand how you feel about wanting a girl. I have a few friends that have two boys and would have loved to have had a girl. They have decided to stick with the two boys, but they are envious of me buying pink dresses and pretty hair accessories. However, girls can be hard work too - very demanding and particular about things.
I have got 3 younger brothers and always thought I would have boys too as I knew no different as a child. I was always desperate to have a sister, so having the two girls has balanced things out a little bit for me. I would be very happy with another girl too....

lol.. yeah the whole eating thing is awesome too!! I'm loving that part and it seems like when i'm hungry i can eat almost anything and it tastes like a steak!! lol.. i need to watch it though!!

Hi, Congratulations on your pregnancy! Saw your post on the 19 week board. You are due to have your ultrasound on the same day as me (22nd May). I will be 20 weeks then. I have got two girls already (aged 8 and 4) and am wondering if I have got a little boy or a little girl inside. We are definitely going to ask at the scan, but after a lot of thought are not going to tell anyone (not even our children) - though I may post it on this stie. It would be great for my DH if baby is a boy, but he is convinced it is going to be another girl!
My symptoms have been the same with each pregnancy so far - bad morning sickness up until about 10-12 weeks, without actually being sick - but struggling to eat anything or cook much. Very tired! Cravings have been different with each one...with my first it was for fruit and cakes! With my second it was for diet coke and grapefruits. This one has been pickled onions, beetroot and cheese!
It is impossible to tell from pregnancy symptoms whether it is going to be a boy or girl I think, which is why I am getting impatient for my scan date!

i'm going to tell you one thing!! lol.. i had all the girl symptoms because my mother has three girls and all were the exact same as mine.. and my ultrasound came back and told me that i was having a boy!! i wanted a little girl too!! but everything from the sweet cravings to gaining weight, morning sickness, and high heart rate... the ultrasound tech that it looks like a boy :( but the best of luck to you hunnie!!!

Sorry hun, it sounds like it could be both. I know waiting is the pits. You will get your girl. Ice packs help the boobs if they are swollen. I tried it and it works esp with sore nips. Good luck to you-think pink....well you know what I mean! LOL

GIRL I READ YOUR INTRO AND YES GOD NEVER GIVES U MORE THAN U CAN BARE SO U JUST BE BLESSED THAT HE HAS SENT U ANOTHER LITTLE ONE TO LOVE AND BE AN ADDITION TO THE FAMILY. Thanks so much! When will you get to find out? My symptoms? Didn't really have any... very little indigestion, a few headaches, but nothing that I could easily say was due to the pregnancy alone. Everyone told me that I'd be having a boy, and I started to believe them (even though I had 4 dreams of my little girl). I can't wait to meet her! Best of luck on getting your little girl!
