October 10th - I found out I was pregnant at work. My boyfriend and I have been together for about 8 years. We decided to get off the pill and try to conceive, I took my last pill in July. It took us 2 months to get pregnant. I was 4 days late for my period so I decided to got o Rite Aid and take a HPT (or as I like to call it a work pregnancy test) During lunch Iwent to the bathroom and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw 2 blue lines - I read the box over and over again just to make sure I got it right. I was so excited I left work early that day. I called my boyfriend, with tears in my eyes. I told him " you're going to be a daddy again on Father's Day" He started crying too.
October 20th - No morning sickness - just nausea.
November1st - Clothes are starting to fit tightly.
November 15th - We are big Dodger fans - bought our baby a L.A. Dodgers onesie.
December 10th - My Birthday -31-
December 25th - Christmas - All is well.
January 1st - Happy New Year - getting bigger by the day.
January 24th - BIG DAY! Ultrasound - We saw your baby, hear heatbeat, daddy was so excited. We don't know what we are having by choice.
February 26th - Daddy's Bday
Mar. 31st - My boyfriend and I did not want to know what we were having but all that changed when the doctor ordered another ultrasound and we were told that we are having a BOY!
Apr. 23th - All is well, all test have come back negative. So far a great pregnancy. I'm still working, I think that is the hardest part. My last day is May23rd.

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

That doesn't sound too bad :) My doc told me they would bring me in at 5:30 a.m. and start everything. He said right from the start they will start IV, break water and start pitocin. I thought, "well, he isn't wasting any time." I am hoping for a fast labor and delivery with minimal tearing. I tore with my daughter and it was a horrible healing process. I don't even think the tear was as bad as most. I would love to NOT tear this time, but I am prepared. Thanks for letting me know how things were with you. That makes me feel better. Right now, I am 2cm/60%. And I lost my plug Friday. Eww!!

I am glad your little one had his/her legs crossed. Then they can't let the sex slip :) Mine had his spread through the whole ultrasound. I told to main tech, that I sure hope that its not a girl LOL :)

Hi there - just wanted to let you know that we also have decided to not find out the gender. If you read all of the posts, we're a rare breed! Most women have already named their little ones! I think it'd be neat to know, but I want the surprise at the end. My friend said that not knowing helped her get thru labor a bit, to know that she was getting that surprise at the end. Anyway, I think a meet the baby shower is a great idea! Good luck to you!

Hi! Congratulations to you. I was reading your post in 23 weeks about not finding out the sex of the baby and I think that is so awesome!! Have you had your ultrasound yet?? I was like you and didn't want to find out eithor, but I had a trainee tech who let it slip. So if you haven't had yours, I would be careful of that, cause they know right away. IF you have already had it, then nothing to worry about. By the way I am having a boy, and am thrilled to death :) Good luck to you!!!
