Baby's in there, just didn't know it yet. My best friend and I as bridesmaids, September 07'.

Here I am at 16 weeks (below).

December 27th, 2007--found out we're having a little girl! I was shocked!! Everyone (including myself) thought I was having a boy! I'm really excited!!!!!

Starting to get a belly now! (21 weeks)

Besides constant heartburn and the occasional backache, still feeling good at 27 weeks!!!! Just moved into our new house, so life is good! Also started our baby classes, this week was Basics of Baby Care and next week we begin the 6 week course, Prepared Childbirth. Looking forward to learning lots and gaining confidence as we get closer. Just need to get the baby room ready now :)

Yes I had mine on the 20th. Now we're home and I'm soooo sore. My husband's feeding her right now while I'm on the internet--did you have an episiotomy?

Why rush the induction if there is no good medical reason? I know how you feel about wanting all the time possible with your baby girl - believe me I'm right there with you, but I don't think a Dr's convenience is a good reason to force your body into labor. If you are heading towards 2 weeks late then heck yeah, it's probably the best thing for your baby and I say do it. I really want to give myself the chance to start things naturally and more than anything I want to be able to say to his father "it's time" - silly to some I suppose. I have a different view of labor and delivery than most women these days do - in the end only you know what's best for you and your little girl. Congratulations on being so close to meeting your little one - I'm envious! =D

my doc is inducing me b/c she's all worried about my blood pressure--did your doctor give you the option or tell you they were going to induce you? sorry if you've already told me this, i just feel like i can't remember anything these days!! i wish mine would give me more of an option rather than telling me they were going to induce me. ugh. i know how you feel about people staring, holy crap. everywhere i go i feel like i'm some blimp that people have look at. it's SO ANNOYING!! I am so bitchy these days that I will outright give them dirty looks. I'm like, stop staring!! Yes, I'm pregnant!! congrats, you've identified a pregnant woman!!!

my doc is doing the same thing--she's going to use cervadil and then pitocin if i haven't effaced or dilated at my appointment on wednesday. You seem like you're getting induced early!! I still don't know what day we're doing it--I find out on Wednesday. Are you scared? I'm a little bit scared of induction, because I know it makes the contractions longer and more painful. I hope you feel better :) I've gotten that throwing up crap a few times throughout this pregnancy--no fun having a baby bouncing around in your belly while you feel like you're about to die. it's so weird.

how'd you get to schedule an induction? You suck. haha. I'm happy for you--I can only hope that at my appointment tomorrow something's happening w/ this kid.

It may not hurt you! No one else on this site had said it was uncomfortable for them either--I think like two other women barely mentioned something about it. But I mean, think about it, she's going to have her hand in your cervix. It's a pretty sensitive area. I just think I'm going to be a total wimp when it comes to labor. My doc said I was only like a fingertip dilated when I went in last week, but she said I'm still totally not showing any signs of labor. boo. I have my appointment wednesday morning--let me know how yours goes !
